Yesterday was second time that I worked with Helen at Peckforton Castle, so many special and unique aspects were brought into play at this event, I can still hear the gasps of appreciation from the guests, the whole day ran like clockwork. I know what I'm talking about when I heap praise on Helen, I've been around the block having managed luxury hotels around the world for over 20 years and in my second career as a toastmaster for 15 years. I can tell you that Helen is right up there at the top of her profession On Saturday last once again I had the pleasure of working with Helen for a wedding at the palatial Old Palace, Chester. From the very start at Chester Cathedral to the first dance and conclusion it all ran perfectly with Helen and her team quietly, calmly & most efficiently ensuring this special day had a most successful outcome.

Jess, I can not thank you enough, it was beautiful from start to finish - you did an absolutely amazing job, the little details, the setup, your professionalism, your kindness, your thoughtfulness was outstanding. I was completely overwhelmed when I walked in and utterly speechesless looking at the main room - just wow!! The amount of comments from guests saying how beautiful it was, I lost count. You are honestly amazing and I cannot thank you enough for making our day so special

Hired Jessica to dress the room for my daughter's 18th birthday party. She did an absolutely amazing job. The room looked beautiful and was so person centred and fitting to my daughters taste. Jessica was so helpful from the very start and even helped book the room for me I was holding the event in. Her communication skills are on point and her rates are brilliant and certainly for how much hard work she puts into it. Will definitely be using vintage events again for future parties/events.

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Great at communication. Jess is superb at what she does. She was there every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the requirements etc, covering every detail. We were so pleased with the welcome board, balloons & light up numbers & it added the perfect touch to the venue & party. So glad we chose Vintage Events Manchester. We would definitely recommend to anybody looking for that professional, special extra to a party venue. Will definitely be back for future events. Thankyou so much Jess, you are the best!!

Our daughter adores The Wizard of Oz, I mentioned this to Jess… well what an amazing evening we had. Jess is so creative, enthusiastic and committed. Bursting with ideas. We had Emerald City green balloons, broom sticks from the ceiling, hay bales with witches feet, a yellow brick road. Amazing !!!! Weeks later and friends and family are still talking about the room. The set up and clean up the next day- faultless !!! Jess made a 21st party, a night not to forget, not just a wedding planner. Soooo talented. THANK YOU X

The best decorator in town! Connie was incredible from start to finish. I liked her right from our first conversation—she was polite, professional, and gave me so much confidence. The hall’s color limited our options, and I was initially unsure, but when I walked in on the day, I was blown away. I was in awe with the work done by Ornate deco & event planners. All I did was choose the colours & they did their magic! My guests were also blown away. The uniqueness of the deco was amazing. They are also professional & quick setting up. I will definitely be using this company in the future.

We hired the neon ‘until death do us party’ sign from the word is love. It looked even better (and bigger) than I expected - I loved it and it looked great next to our dance floor. Suzy and Ollie were so helpful and the hiring/set up etc was so easy and all organised by them but fitting in with everything we asked! We were looking for something special for our wedding at Colshaw Hall and were recommended 'The Word Is Love.' After perusing through the extensive catalogue (we were spoilt for choice), we settled on the 4ft rustic letters for our surname which provided the perfect backdrop for both the wedding breakfast and evening reception! Suzy and Ollie were very quick to respond to our enquiries and made the whole process extremely straight forward - from the initial booking, set up at the venue and collection the next day. Suzy and Ollie communicated directly with the venue which we were incredibly appreciative of! Thank you Suzy and Ollie and the Word is Love team for being a part of our special day and providing us with the perfect backdrop (and our guests with some amazing photo opportunities!)

We just had our wedding on Saturday and used The Word is Love to hire a wooden arch with neon sign. Suzy was great at replying to emails and so helpful when we decided to change to a smaller arch! On the day the arch and neon sign looked fab and gave a lovely glow to the day, the arch was then used in the evening and again, looked great! We would definitely use them again 💖

Top table were our caterers in August at the Oak Tree of Peover. They were so helpful creating a menu for us and especially for accommodating quite a long list of guest allergies and intolerances. The staff were really lovely and we felt they went out of their way to be helpful to us. They also boxed up our leftovers and cake at the end of the day from our buffet which was hugely appreciated! The tasting we had back in January was delicious, and really helped us choose what we wanted for our menu. I'm still dreaming of the chicken we had for our main course! So sad we didn't think to take a photo of our food, but our photographer luckily took some pics of the starter and main. Portion sizes were great too and we definitely didn't hear any complaints about being hungry! Definitely recommend a trio of desserts! It was extremely helpful going through a plan of timings for the day, the document sent really helped us when answering questions from other suppliers, venue and registrars! PERFECT! 🤍 We booked with 15 months to go, and Top Table were amazing throughout the whole journey. They made everything so easy that it felt like something was missing, but it wasn’t. I just didn’t expect to to be so calm! Our wedding day ran so smoothly and perfectly, and we are so grateful for Jake, who helped manage us throughout the day, as it was such a blur! With 2 weeks to go, we also discovered we were expecting.. Top Table helped hide this with secret drinks and conversations throughout the day, so our guests were none the wiser! We had the best day of our lives and can thank Top Table for this! 🤍🎉

Top Table had been wonderful from the initial introductions at our wedding venues (Sandhole Oak Barn) wedding fair (a mouthful to say) all the way through to when the big day finally arrived. We were kept well informed with how the day would play out; we were told that as the bride and groom, canapés would be be-lined to us as a priority so we wouldn’t have to worry. The food was absolutely phenomenal, it’s just a shame we couldn’t have everything we tried on the tasting menu because it was all unbelievable (even for a Sunday morning at 10am) but our selection of food for the big day was unreal! A special mention to Jake who led charge on our big day. From first introductions, we had his number, nothing was too much for him and his dry sense of humour was fantastic. Thank you to all the team for making the day unforgettable!!

We hired Irlam Warburton Events Ltd as our wedding planners for our wedding day at Colshaw Hall and truly couldn’t recommend them enough. During the planning of the wedding they gave us many ideas and helped us to make everything happen exactly as we imagined, and even exceeded what we expected. Nothing was too much trouble for Megan and Georgie and leading up to the wedding and on the day itself we felt so reassured that everything was under control, and it all ran like clockwork thanks to their hard work and professionalism. We had a really special day and really enjoyed working with IWE throughout xxx

A huge thank you to Georgina and Megan. We got married in October 2017. What do you need to know - We went for a late start with a 4 pm service meaning the day and daylight was slightly shorter than many weddings. - We had 150 guests many who had flown over from as far away as Oz and Singapore. -The biggest storm of the year graced us with its presence - gale force winds and torrential rain! Storm Brian! How did the team do? - 10/10. I was dressed like a (stylish) geisha with a 10 foot trail. Despite the rain, cars were put on without asking to get me to ceremony room. - Before entering the service room, a white table cloth was sacrificed for me to stand on to stop the dress getting wet and numerous staff including Ian protecting me with brollies whilst my trail and veil was sorted. -Guests were whipped away in buggies to the drinks afterwards - as slick as you could get. - The drinks reception was extended without any questions asked of Dan & I so we could get our wellies on for some outside pictures! Ian the master of ceremony sacrificed yet another table cloth so madam here didn’t get her dress dirty during the pictures!! - The room was AMAZING. Floor to ceiling fairy lights, flowers, feathers, room wash, white covered stage where the band played jazz during dinner, Matt Windsor joined us for some close up magic. We brought in chairs and a 6 foot wide long tables. Trails of flowers everywhere. - All of this was seamlessly coordinated by the girls along with all of my silly details from menu cards to wooden table names. The girls even managed to get a load of guests out for some bonfire sparklers action after dinner! We live in London so much of the arranging was done either by email or visits to the venue. Georgina and Megan stayed late on Friday evenings for us to sort the wedding when we visited Knutsford and gave us a huge amount of time and great service. All of the tables were set up over night along with the lights which took hours (I’m told to go up) all the while Dan & I could hold our warm up drinks in Knutsford the night before. If you want great attention to detail, a hassle free day, great service, seamless coordination and an eye for detail then I would definitely recommend Georgina and Megan. I’d love to do it all over again! Thanks Georgina & Megan for a great day. Xx

Georgie and Megan were extremely professional and provided outstanding customer services and on top of that very friendly ladies. They went above and beyond to ensure our wedding is perfect for us and our guests. They attended to all our last minute decisions and changes and on top of that paid attention to details that we never thought guests will notice. With us being in different countries, they managed to communicate very well during the planning. The moment we met with them months before the wedding we knew we were in good hands. Would just like to say a big thank you to Debbie for all the effort and making our day perfect. Debbie was lovely to talk with over email / phone when we initially contacted her. We then had a follow up meeting when we were able to due to COVID restrictions and she was really helpful is suggesting things that might work with our theme and showing us different decoration options in the shop. Everything was effortless on the day, they just got on with everything and I arrived to the wonderful room set up. Smash Party truly outdid themselves with their incredible New Year event! 🎉✨ As a DJ for the kids, I was thoroughly impressed with the seamless organization and vibrant energy throughout. We went to Smash parties winter ball and it was indeed a gala event. Had so much fun 🤩 that nearly overcame the winter blues. All arrangements were perfect - classy venue with convenient car park ,beautifully decorated hall and tables , yummy food to purchase , great DJ and the Barbie themed photo booth was the icing on the cake ! Well done to Smash parties for organising this amazing event 😀
