Absolutely fabulous! ....I recently had replacement timber windows made to replace the originals and I'm absolutely delighted! It was a tricky process, particularly the large bay window, but Jonathan was incredibly helpful to ensure that it spot on! Furthermore, the windows are great and I'd have no hesitation in recommending Leach and Clegg to anybody!

Jov did a great couple of days work installing some skirting boards and fitting a door. He also installed a cat flap and bike holder which I had been trying and failing to do myself. He is personable and reliable, and does a great job. Will be booking his services again!

Phil built two lecterns for us to use at Graduation ceremonies, he was extremely detailed and great at communicating to ensure that the design and build was exactly what we needed. He was also accommodating to any ideas or things that we wanted as part of the design to ensure that this worked effectively for us. Would 100% recommend, thank you Phil.

Phil is both an excellent craftsman and a great communicator. He sticks to his word, delivers on time, makes sure everything is understood and the customer is happy and will not cut corners - a true professional with attention to detail and a passion for his craft. We tasked him with a complex, multifaceted, awkward cabinet build. Aside from all the normal challenges of fitting fridge cvabinets into a tight space, we also had to run our business around the work schedule and the cabinet doors had a complex cnc pattern on the front that continued across all faces meaning very little room for error or trimming. Phil fitted everything perfectly and got all patterns to line perfectly. Phil is a rare gem, can't recommend highly enough.

We previously worked with Phil in our old house and were pleased with his work so got him for our current renovation too. Phil designed and built us an alcove cupboard and shelf and the finish is brilliant. He gave us advice on style including handles and there was good communication throughout. I reached out to Phil with a loose idea of a custom art cart I wanted done for the museum and I also had ideas for extra features...however, I had never seen an art cart on the market with a built in table and did not know how that would even work. Very quickly and in conversation with me, Phil designed a bespoke art cart with all the features and even a beautiful and natural design (with safe for museum objects finishes). He was very attentive and considerate of my ideas and how it would be used. And, it is beautiful and really sturdy, too. Very excited to use this with visitors and all the staff are very excited by how professional and functional it is. Highly recommend, Phil!

We really liked the work we saw on Dave's website and asked him to quote for replacing our mahogany staircase with a new oak and glass one. From the first contact with Dave and Katherine, we were impressed by their knowledge, professionalism and clear commitment to create something that would have an immediate impression and be the centrepiece of the hallway. We are so glad we chose them to do the work because the end product is stunning. The process from quotation to completion was highly professional and stress free. They kept us informed throughout, Dave and Jason arrived when they said they would, worked with amazing drive and focus throughout. The quality of their work is superb. They are highly skilled and worked quickly taking almost no time for breaks, even for brews! At the end of each day they cleaned up impeccably so much so that apart from the changes happening you wouldn't have thought any work had happened, they left our hallway in such an excellent condition. The toughened glass took just over a week to arrive and they fitted wooden panels where the glass would go to make the staircase safe until then. With visiting small grandchildren that was important and much appreciated. We have now exactly the staircase we wanted and we love it. The price was fair, the workmanship outstanding, and the communication throughout first class establishing trust and confidence. We would recommend Dave, Katherine (and Jason) with out any hesitation. And we we will certainly use them again for future projects. Our best experience involving major work without a doubt.

Highly rated and brilliant job from David. We’d been designing and thinking about plywood storage for a few years and David gave us a competitive quotation. He was on time, professional, quiet and methodical, also a self confessed perfectionist. He was also polite, pleasant trustworthy and clean. David have some clever ideas and also listened to our ideas during installation as we altered some bits and pieces. He also suggested removable shelving and importantly designed and built a section to house our washing machine and boiler, which will still allow us to service or remove them easily by removing some of that section. Overall, if we could give 10 stars we would. If you need a skilled cabinet maker, defiantly give David serious consideration when looking at options. He’s 20+ years skilled in shop-fitting and cabinet making so should be able to do most challenging jobs, as was ours.

We're recently planning to move house. Since my mum brought a range of her china sets back from Pakistan. There was clearly no space, where we could put our china sets. After doing some research, I've looked online and looked at the work David Gill did in terms of his joinery and was really impressed with the work. Despite them being based in Oldham, David and his wife Katherine came over to the property in Manchester and provided suggestions and designs based on where to place cutlery cabinets in our dining room. Once they provided the suggestions and colour palette for the wood being used, they kept in regular touch with my younger sister based on the overall quote and measurements. David and his colleague assembled the bespoke cutlery cabinets and fits perfectly both sides of the fireplace, whilst matching to the dining chairs. I'm really pleased with how David and Katherine took into consideration that my older sister has a muscle disorder and applied cabinet handles that my sister is able to pull in case she needs access to any china sets. David gave us clear recommendations on how to maintain the cabinets for longer periods of time. Overall, I'm really pleased with the work David and Katherine carried out. In future, we may be looking to have more bespoke furniture done and will not hesitate to contact them for support!!! Thank you, David and Katherine!!!! 👍😊 Isa, Raeha and Family.

We have just had our bespoke alcove unit designed, made and fitted by Dave. Katherine and Dave came to see us to get an idea of what we wanted and then from there to the installation any queries I had were answered promptly and nothing was to much trouble. Dave’s a great guy and his workmanship is amazing, attention to detail and could not be happier with the whole service and finished product we will see next year for the bedroom design , thank you both. I recently had the pleasure of commissioning Marlin Joinery for a custom-designed bunk bed project, and I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome. The project was a challenging one: a unique bunk bed setup with a double bed on the bottom and a 3/4 bed on the top, including storage within the steps leading to the top bunk.
