Extremely pleased with everything done by Mark. First class work fitting new kitchen cabinets and worktops. He made another bespoke cabinet to match. He fitted a water heater and sink with their associated plumbing. Refitted washing machine and dishwasher. Considerable care was taken to ensure everything aligned; including fitting the worktops against an uneven wall. Coordinated and arranged for an electrician to install new power cables. Everything done was to the highest standards. A reliable, honest, pleasant and very hard working kitchen fitter. Highly recommended.

Mark did a fantastic job from start to finish. He coordinated everything I needed to make my kitchen perfect. He gave great advice, kept in regular touch, turned up on time. He sorted out glitches with bits of the kitchen that needed replacement (the kitchen company’s fault not his) and was really professional. I now have the kitchen I’ve always wanted. I’d recommend Hawthorn Joinery in a heartbeat and will definitely ask them to help with future work that needs doing.

Sam fitted 11 very tricky internal doors as all were different sizes and needed trimming down. Extremely reliable, decently priced and did a great job when we kept getting let down by other joiners.

I contacted Sam with the possibility of turning a very small alcove in my lounge to an office area with shelving, pull out desk and doors in which you could close it off when not in use. He understood exactly what I wanted and has built the most amazing, solid desk and shelving units. It looks so much better than I thought possible. Sam was quick and efficient. Just moved into a new property and had quite a long snag list of small works that needed doing such as trimming of doors & skirting, attaching things to walls, fitting new doors, etc. David was on time, efficient and did a great job! Would definitely recommend and also use again!

Kevin did a wonderful job fitting our kitchen worktop! Reasonably priced, excellent communication and obviously takes a lot of care and pride in his work. I cannot recommend him enough and would definitely call on him again.

Kev has done a few jobs for me now - a full kitchen rip out and new one installed, joinery work including new door frames and doors. He's also done some other smaller jobs for me, as I'm useless at DIY. Kev is the first man I call now - friendly and professional service! I highly recommend!

Kevin did a great job in fitting new kitchen work tops, new sink, gas hob and extractor. His tiling above the work tops just finished off a great a job that transformed my kitchen to look like new again. Price was competitive and work clean and tidy. I would certainly use his services again.

We really don't know how to thank Mike. Giving a 5* review just doesn't seem enough. Mike did work on our staircase few yrs ago & he was so meticulous, we said we would NEVER look for another joiner. We decided to have a new kitchen a good while ago, but due to his backlog of work due to the Pandemic we were happy to wait, not once, did we think about finding a different joiner. We're SO happy we waited. He's come up with a few tips & ideas to give us more space, which the kitchen company who planned the kitchen didn't. He came up with a great idea to make the hob area a feature- it looks fantastic! He has gone above & beyond our expectations. He is so courteous, never leaves without tidying up, no matter what time it is. He only has another day here to go, but really wanted to put this review on. Will update with pics when finished. So good, we've had him twice!! A good tradesman is hard to find when it comes to knowledge, capability, enthusiasm for the job, and value for money. Mike delivers on all these areas, and discusses each stage of the project to deliver (in my experience) beyond what you would expect. I have had Mike in my house twice this year. Once on a major refurbishment project, which transformed the core section of the house : Hallway / Stairs / Landing, and included : completely replacing the front door and frame, entirely replacing the banister, constructing an under stairs storage area, lowering and insulating the landing ceiling, and replacing most of the doors & frames in the house, plus fitting all the skirting boards. We planned to sell, but feel so at home that we asked Mike back to remodel our third bedroom, which involved constructing a loft bed in a very confined space, which now feels spacious! If you want someone to turn your vision into reality, without breaking the bank, look no further.

We have had our internal doors changed, Mike did an amazing job and worked tirelessly for two days. He was very professional and knowledgeable and we couldn't be happier with his work. He turned up when he said he would and was punctual. We totally recommend his services.

Highly rated and brilliant job from David. We’d been designing and thinking about plywood storage for a few years and David gave us a competitive quotation. He was on time, professional, quiet and methodical, also a self confessed perfectionist. He was also polite, pleasant trustworthy and clean. David have some clever ideas and also listened to our ideas during installation as we altered some bits and pieces. He also suggested removable shelving and importantly designed and built a section to house our washing machine and boiler, which will still allow us to service or remove them easily by removing some of that section. Overall, if we could give 10 stars we would. If you need a skilled cabinet maker, defiantly give David serious consideration when looking at options. He’s 20+ years skilled in shop-fitting and cabinet making so should be able to do most challenging jobs, as was ours.

David installed a cupboard in our bathroom. His work was excellent and we asked if he could make a bespoke wardrobe in our bedroom. Attached are the photos of the completed product. David is clearly an expert in his field with great attention to detail. The wardrobe couldn’t have been better. Thank you to David and Katherine, they’re a very reliable and professional couple. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to all our friends.

We really liked the work we saw on Dave's website and asked him to quote for replacing our mahogany staircase with a new oak and glass one. From the first contact with Dave and Katherine, we were impressed by their knowledge, professionalism and clear commitment to create something that would have an immediate impression and be the centrepiece of the hallway. We are so glad we chose them to do the work because the end product is stunning. The process from quotation to completion was highly professional and stress free. They kept us informed throughout, Dave and Jason arrived when they said they would, worked with amazing drive and focus throughout. The quality of their work is superb. They are highly skilled and worked quickly taking almost no time for breaks, even for brews! At the end of each day they cleaned up impeccably so much so that apart from the changes happening you wouldn't have thought any work had happened, they left our hallway in such an excellent condition. The toughened glass took just over a week to arrive and they fitted wooden panels where the glass would go to make the staircase safe until then. With visiting small grandchildren that was important and much appreciated. We have now exactly the staircase we wanted and we love it. The price was fair, the workmanship outstanding, and the communication throughout first class establishing trust and confidence. We would recommend Dave, Katherine (and Jason) with out any hesitation. And we we will certainly use them again for future projects. Our best experience involving major work without a doubt.

We have just had our bespoke alcove unit designed, made and fitted by Dave. Katherine and Dave came to see us to get an idea of what we wanted and then from there to the installation any queries I had were answered promptly and nothing was to much trouble. Dave’s a great guy and his workmanship is amazing, attention to detail and could not be happier with the whole service and finished product we will see next year for the bedroom design , thank you both.
