We had the pleasure of having Jay come out to our house during an emergency, and he went above and beyond to help us. Even with it being Christmas Eve, he came and made sure everything was taken care of. Jay was incredibly thorough, explaining each step of the process with great detail. When contracting someone for a big job it’s always a bit nerve wrecking as there are so many cowboys out there but we are so glad we had our kitchen fitted by Jay and his son Keagan which included full electrics and plumbing. They are a joy to have in your home, very respectful, courteous and nothing is too much trouble. Jay goes out of his way to ensure you are happy with his work explaining each stage of work so that you are well informed. Our electrics and plumbing were in a much worse state than expected but Jay was really flexible in taking on the extra work and getting it all done over the weekend (incl working a Sunday which he didn’t have to) to have it ready for the plasterer. Jay is really knowledgeable and has many years of experience which comes through in the advice and recommendations he makes. We really appreciated his advice and didn’t hesitate to accept his recommendations as we fully trusted his expertise. Our kitchen was fitted to an extremely high standard with impeccable attention to detail as if it was his own home. He takes great pride in his work which is reflected in the quality of his workmanship. With his many years experience and excellent level of service you know you are in safe hands and we would not hesitate to recommend Jay, in fact have a few jobs in mind that we will be calling on him for! We have had our internal doors changed, Mike did an amazing job and worked tirelessly for two days. He was very professional and knowledgeable and we couldn't be happier with his work. He turned up when he said he would and was punctual. We totally recommend his services.

Contacted Mike to provide a quote for some internal wooden doors. He came down and measured up and gave us a trade book to look through. Really nice guy, very knowledgeable and professional. He gave us a quote which was really well priced. He fitted us in after a few weeks later and got 6 internal doors fitted along with hinges, locks and handles. He completed the job whilst we were in work so he is very trustworthy. The work was completed to a very high standard. He is very tidy and took time to clean up. I would 100% recommend using Mike for any joinery needs and would go to him again if I needed anything in the future. Top bloke. Thanks again 👍🏼

We really don't know how to thank Mike. Giving a 5* review just doesn't seem enough. Mike did work on our staircase few yrs ago & he was so meticulous, we said we would NEVER look for another joiner. We decided to have a new kitchen a good while ago, but due to his backlog of work due to the Pandemic we were happy to wait, not once, did we think about finding a different joiner. We're SO happy we waited. He's come up with a few tips & ideas to give us more space, which the kitchen company who planned the kitchen didn't. He came up with a great idea to make the hob area a feature- it looks fantastic! He has gone above & beyond our expectations. He is so courteous, never leaves without tidying up, no matter what time it is. He only has another day here to go, but really wanted to put this review on. Will update with pics when finished. I have just taken delivery of the 'Scandi Style Dining Table'. The whole process was very straight forward and communication with Martin was quick and helpful. We love the table, it is solid without being imposing, great quality and I think excellent value for money. Martin even sent a lovely chopping board as a bonus gift. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wood & Duck.

Martin is such a talented cabinet maker, our Django vanity unit is one of the most beautiful pieces of furniture I have bought, the quality is outstanding it’s just perfect, it smells amazing too! I would highly recommend Martin if you are looking for a very special piece of furniture. It came very well packaged & protected.

Wow so glad I found this little treasure of a place the bespoke furniture they make is amazing. So helpful I looked on esty and seen a sink unit I wanted and there was a 4 week wait but my bathroom was being fitted that week. I called and there was one left in the showroom he kindly Said I could buy it. I made the hour drive to collect the next day. It was wrapped and even carried to my car for me. I will definitely be buying more so beautiful quality and high standard finish to the pieces. I will definitely be back again in the future. Final piece for my bathroom and I love it. We just ordered three Django cabinets for two new bathrooms and a cloakroom and they are brilliant. Bespoke sizes, very good quality and delivered exactly as promised. I would highly recommend. We had to cut into the main space of the cupboards to fit the u-bend and pipes for the tap and sink (they didn't fit in the space behind) but that was because of how we designed the sink and positioning of the taps. They look great!

I couldn’t speak highly enough of Sam and his team in the completion of our garage conversion. Sam was thorough throughout from the initial quotation to organising all the workmen needed, it really felt like such an easy process with him guiding us through. There were no hidden costs, we paid exactly what was quoted. Sam and Ben were extremely polite and friendly and always involved us in decision making with the build. The standard of the work is absolute quality and I would not hesitate to use again for any other jobs we may require. The kids love their new playroom, thankyou so much!

Sam and his team converted half our garage into a utility room. We are very pleased with the results and found everyone involved in the conversion professional, approachable and helpful. The work was completed to a high standard and we found the whole process from quotation to completion of the conversion stress free with excellent communication throughout the project from Sam. Sam, the Ben's and the rest of Sam's merry men have done an OUTSTANDING job of our very complicated conversion! Not the easiest garage conversion, having a wedge shaped detached garage that needed to be bought forward to attach to the main house, taking off the leaking flat garage roof and replacing it with a pitched roof that needed to join to the main house... and not to mention the different ground levels involved!!! Sam was spot on with his communication, his attention to detail was second to none as were the rest of his team. They were courteous to have around (and I kinda miss making them brews and stocking up the biscuit tin)! In all, we are absolutely thrilled with the result and cannot recommend S R Bell Carpentry and Building enough!

It can be a challenge to find a genuinely good tradesperson nowadays, but I have had my faith restored with these folks completely renovating our kitchen with Howdens. Tom is not only a brilliant, experienced joiner, but also does a fab project management job. All of the other trades he organised were on time, pleasant and did a great job, as well as keeping the work site tidy. Customer service also great - every question answered, communication prompt, friendly and understanding. I will be coming back to Abacus for future work and I highly recommend others do the same. 👏🏻

Kyle fitted 7 Oak doors for us. Came when he said he would, fast service and very professional. So happy with the results they have really changed the house and we are now arranging for Kyle to come back and do our upstairs doors for us. Would highly recommend!

We had 3 cottage doors fitted, one with a glaze. We absolutely love them! Very happy with the service from Ark Joinery, he was punctual, friendly and very reasonably priced.
