Absolutely outstanding experience with Top Grades. Richard and Emma gave my daughter the confidence and skills she needed to not only pass but excel in her GCSE’s. She initially just went for English tuition but when we realised how much value it was adding to her education we introduced maths tuition too. My daughter has been attending Top Grades for two years now. She’s moved up a maths set but more importantly maths has become her favourite lesson (previously her worst) and I’m amazed at how much she has grown in confidence. I contacted Ash Tutors as I needed help with my 6 year old son who has been struggling in literacy. I contacted Geoff recently as I need support for my son in his final GCSE year in all three sciences. Never having used 'tutor agencies' before I was attracted to Ash Tutors as it seemed to be a little different - smaller and somehow more personal. On first contact I was very impressed with the detail to which Geoff went in assessing our needs in order to find the most appropriate tutor. Geoff put us in touch with Gemma whose approach is absolutely fantastic - super efficient, supportive and positive, going to a lot of trouble, initially and as an ongoing basis to understand our needs such that detailed learning plans are developed from a very informed perspective. She is massively enthusiastic for her subject and her teaching. Her teaching and learning strategies are engaging, fun and everything I associate with excellent teaching and a good student experience. I found Garry through Yell and have been extremely impressed with his manner and professionalism. My Daughter was struggling with Maths and I wanted to help her get through her GSCE's. My little girl was nervous about attending the assessment but she needn't have worried. Everyone has made my daughter and myself feel very welcome. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere and all the staff have been very friendly and supportive. My daughter has only been attending her math session for a few weeks but we can already see that she is becoming more confident. She is even excited to complete the homework that is set and wants to do this as soon as she gets home from the lesson. I didn't know what to expect when I booked my daughter onto her free assessment. I was very surprised but pleased to receive a call from Sue to discuss what my daughter was struggling and what Kip McGrath could do to help her. I can honestly recommend this centre if you are looking for extra support for your child.

We have been using kip McGrath’s since just after lockdown (so for about 2 and half years) and our daughter is now in her last 6 months of high school. My daughter has been attending Kip McGrath in Wigan for little over 18months, and WOW what a difference it has made, her reading and comprehension have come on in leaps and bounds and I 100% factor that to the input from Kip. I have been using this institution for many years, starting with my eldest son who is now studying in University. I have then admitted my other two children in this institution and have seen a massive spike in their grades and attitude to learn in school. My son has really enjoyed attending the online sessions for the 11 plus Accelerator programme. Each week there is a different topic that all the children learn. During the lessons everyone gets the opportunity to talk and ask questions. Helen provides informative and enjoyable lessons.
