After months of trying out different tutors to help my son prepare for the 11+ exams , we came across Manchester Tutors. Abigail got back to us very quickly. We discussed what we needed and what I was looking for in a tutor. She reassured me that she will match my son with a suitable tutor for his needs which many tutor organisations fail to do. She matched our son with a tutor within 48hrs. Our tutor ( Christopher) is absoultly brilliant. He is very knowledgeable about 11+ which is hard to come across in my experience. The resources he uses are challenging which is needed for 11+ exams. After just 2 lessons, my son mentioned that he is the best tutor he has ever had ie ...the way he teaches he easily understands it . My 9 year old twins share a tutor, Amanda, who teaches them maths and English for one hour a week. She is a great influence on them, very charming and positive and they get through so much work with her. Really pleased with the progress my twins have achieved with Amanda.

My daughter has been tutored by Good success since age 8 for 11plus , she passed with flying colours and got admission to Loreto Grammar school. And then continued her tutorials through high school until GCSE again passed with several A* and then for A levels and UCAT . I am very pleased to say this is the final journey and she has passed and got admission to study medicine at the university of Newcastle. The Support has been extremely great each step of the way . My sincere appreciation goes to Mr and Mrs Olowoyo and the tutors, especially Dr Jimi for their support in the past 10years . What a journey, but it’s all worth it in the end !. We first approached Christopher in February/March this year. After an initial assessment, our daughter commenced weekly lessons with one of the tutors (Jeremy). Jeremy was very approachable, friendly and our daughter got on very well with him from the outset. Jeremy was very good at explaining things and when my daughter was uncertain, she never felt uncomfortable telling him that she did not understand. Jeremy provided lots of papers to assist my daughter in preparing for the 11 plus and even she has said that the mock test (arranged by them) was helpful as she definitely felt less nervous about the actual exam. We received our daughters results yesterday and we’re so pleased that she had passed and not only did she get the required score for the school we had hoped, she also gained a enough to be considered by Altrincham Grammar. We can’t thank Christopher and Jeremy enough for their help and support and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering putting their child in for the 11 plus :)

My son was tutored by Christopher leading to him securing a place at his first choice of Grammar School. I saw a really significant improvement in my son's confidence and knowledge. His creative writing skills came on leaps and bounds after attending the creative writing workshop. I would highly recommend Christopher and Eleven Plus Tutors, especially their creative writing workshops and practice exams.

Christopher has been tutoring our son for the last 18 months or so. He has such an amazing rapport with kids. He encouraged and supported our son, inspiring him and boosting his confidence. Our son successfully secured an out of catchment place at AGSB and was also awarded an academic scholarship at a fantastic independent school. He was fully prepared for the exams, going into them relaxed and confident, as a result of high quality tutoring and as a result of attending the mock exams offered by Eleven Plus Tutors. Eleven Plus Tutors even facilitated remote facilities so he could take part, even though we were away from home. I highly recommend Christopher and Eleven Plus Tutors. I have already lined them up to tutor our youngest.

There aren’t enough compliments for Rifat and her exceptional teaching skills. Her patience, perseverance and her obvious passion for teaching have transformed our son. He was taught English and Maths and there has been a phenomenal improvement in our son. There were times when he surprised both of us with his ability to solve difficult mathematical challenges using the skills he had been taught. He passed all of the independent school exams and we cannot thank Rifat enough for everything she has done over the last year.

Garry has been tutoring my daughter in the lead up to her GCSE's and my son for his end of year exams, and they have both found the sessions to be very useful, and Garry's approach has been excellent for both of them. He has instilled in them a much higher level of self confidence and they are now able to tackle maths questions with a greater level of knowledge and confidence.

On the lead up to her SAT’s, my Daughter began to get upset about her school maths classes, so we enrolled her at Kip in an attempt to boost both her skills & confidence. The difference we saw was amazing ! Her confidence soared & she actually gained the nickname ‘The Human Calculator’. She enjoyed her sessions & the ‘Kip Family’ so much that we continued her tutoring beyond her SAT’s & she’s now been with Ann & Ivan for almost 5 years. The progress Noah has made over the years working with Ann and Kip McGrath has been exceptional. At the beginning of his journey where he was massively behind his fellow peers to now, where he finds himself excelling beyond his age range in both Reading and Spelling, doing amazing in high school but more importantly the confidence he has found within himself. I'm starting my post with the biggest thank you to Ann of Kip Oldham North. Ann has been beyond AMAZING. When myself and my daughter first went to see Ann we were unsure that she could help my daughter gain her qualifications to enable her to either get a decent job or access university. School and college had failed my daughter. The school specifically told me that she would achieve very little and college was in my opinion oversubscribed with little or no attention to a child that was struggling. Ann immediately set to work with Neivé. She was patient, attentive, supportive, encouraging, and extremely professional in her approach with the kindness of a mother figure my daughter started to believe in herself. The result of Ann's and my daughters hard work has paid dividends.. she passed her exams and she is now in a position to choose between a good job or university. My son first attended Raise tuition after lockdown which affected his confidence in his school work massively. From the minute he went in on his first lesson, he met Alison and Emma and was immediately put at ease and actually looked forward to going every week. After only a few weeks we all noticed a huge difference in him. Not only was his school work improving but his confidence in class was too. He started back with raise tuition a few weeks back for the second time as he will be sitting his sats in a few weeks and his teacher felt he needed a push. Raise tuition welcomed him back with open arms and again, after only a few sessions he is no longer worried about his upcoming tests and is confident with his work. I just wanted to thank Ash Tutors for the services in providing my daughter with English lesson. Rachel has been brilliant in building my daughter's confidence. I contacted Geoff recently as I need support for my son in his final GCSE year in all three sciences. Never having used 'tutor agencies' before I was attracted to Ash Tutors as it seemed to be a little different - smaller and somehow more personal. On first contact I was very impressed with the detail to which Geoff went in assessing our needs in order to find the most appropriate tutor. Geoff put us in touch with Gemma whose approach is absolutely fantastic - super efficient, supportive and positive, going to a lot of trouble, initially and as an ongoing basis to understand our needs such that detailed learning plans are developed from a very informed perspective. She is massively enthusiastic for her subject and her teaching. Her teaching and learning strategies are engaging, fun and everything I associate with excellent teaching and a good student experience.
