My two boys have been with Adele for three years now. Over the years I watch them them develop and improve in their Maths. They are currently three years ahead in their Maths. Moreover the support and encouragement from Adele and the whole team have been tremendous. This has helped the boys a great deal. I will highly recommend Adele at Kumon Walkden centre.

Adele and her team have been absolutely BRILLIANT- the way in which they teach has turned my 6 year old around in the space of 6 weeks! He’s gone from hating maths to absolutely looking forward to it every day! There is a MASSIVE improvement in his thinking, level of concentration and how he can now identify the maths solution and number patterns! My son struggled with his confidence in maths and couldn’t count to 15 confidently. He can now count endlessley with a tremendous amount of confidence, all thanks to Adele and the team. I’m so so so pleased and it is by far the best thing I have done for my son. I cannot recommend this place enough! Adele is lovely and really takes the time to understand you and your child. She is efficient and very well organised is all she does. She provides consistent feedback via a parents meeting as well! Her team ate amazing and that is a reflection of how she runs her centre! My son always looks forward to his Kumon lesson every Saturday! If you’re sat on the fence I would say just go for it because the difference it has made is phenomenal!! I will keep my son at this centre until he’s ready to go and sit his GCSEs!

I have then admitted my other two children in this institution and have seen a massive spike in their grades and attitude to learn in school. My daughter went there to prepare for 11plus exam. The tutors are all amazing! They helped my daughter and pushed her to reach her best and boosted her confidence a lot. My daughter attended the 11 plus lessons here and absolutely loved it. The tutors were great and we received feedback on progress periodically. They got homeworks to do outside of their weekly tuition . I'm pleased to say that my daughter was succesful and scored very highly in the exams, enough to secure an offer in one of the outstanding grammar schools, even though we were outside catchment area. My son has been attending Kip McGrath for six years and absolutely loves it! He feel so comfortable there that it doesn’t feel like Work to him. Sam and all the teachers there have helped my son pass his entrance exam to get him into his dream school. They are very encouraging and make him feel confident when doing his work in school. If there’s something he’s struggling with, he will bring it in and Kip will teach him multiple ways of answering questions, he is struggling with so he can answer them with confidence. I’m pretty certain that he will stay there throughout the whole of his school education because he absolutely loves it and I would recommend the centre to everyone.

I can’t thank FCL Swinton enough for the confidence they have brought back to my son’s learning. My son can get very distracted at school but FCL have put provisions in place to help him stay focused and enjoy his tutoring time without him feeling “tied” to his desk. He is now ahead for his learning in maths and his school teachers have commented on how much more positive his attitude to learning is since he started at FCL. I brought my son to First Class Learning when he was in his last year at high school, to help prepare for his English exams. What an amazing service they provide. Leigh, Sarah and the team at Kip Whitefield have been fantastic. They made learning fun again for my year 5/6 son and helped give him back his confidence and self-esteem. The online gamified home learning works really well where attention spans can be a struggle. After my son’s last session at Kip he asked could he keep going as he enjoyed it so much. Can’t really have better praise than that!

Working for the Tutor Trust as a primary school tutor has been the best experience. Helping underprivileged children build their confidence in English and Maths is just brilliant to see, and great to be a part of. I’ve been working as a Secondary English Tutor at The Tutor Trust for nearly a year and it has been such a rewarding role.
