Working for the Tutor Trust as a primary school tutor has been the best experience. Helping underprivileged children build their confidence in English and Maths is just brilliant to see, and great to be a part of. The Tutor Trust is flexible work and fits perfectly round university studies. As well as being great in school experience if you are hoping to become a teacher one day! I would recommend this job to anyone who is a hard worker, respectable, kind and has the urge to help young people.

Through working as a primary tutor with The Tutor Trust, I have gained many essential skills which will be vital for my future career. It has been very fulfilling to mentor students for the past three years, and the charity offer flexible hours that fit around university timetables and other commitments, so there has never been any stress with arranging my shifts. The Tutor trust is an excellent place to work. I began working here as a student and was immediately impressed with the opportunities they had to offer. They provide excellent training for tutors and cover the costs of necessary checks such as DBS which showed the care they have for both their tutors and the students that they provide tutoring for. They constantly ensure that I am able to build excellent relationships with the schools I work for and have excellent communication with me throughout my work. After months of trying out different tutors to help my son prepare for the 11+ exams , we came across Manchester Tutors. Abigail got back to us very quickly. We discussed what we needed and what I was looking for in a tutor. She reassured me that she will match my son with a suitable tutor for his needs which many tutor organisations fail to do. She matched our son with a tutor within 48hrs. Our tutor ( Christopher) is absoultly brilliant. He is very knowledgeable about 11+ which is hard to come across in my experience. The resources he uses are challenging which is needed for 11+ exams. The tutors are excellent and very professional. Communication fantastic and responsive. My daughter has learnt so much in the past pew months. My son has really enjoyed attending the online sessions for the 11 plus Accelerator programme. Each week there is a different topic that all the children learn. During the lessons everyone gets the opportunity to talk and ask questions. Helen provides informative and enjoyable lessons. My son started on the Achievers+ online programme last year. I’m really pleased with the results so far, I can see a tangible improvement in both ability and confidence. Learning materials are excellent, lessons are fun while maintaining a focus on learning objectives. Helen's Achievers+ Programme was a fantastic experience for our son. He genuinely looked forward to the weekly online lessons, which were thoughtfully planned and perfectly balanced between maths and English. It was clear how much care and effort Helen put into each session, from the preparation of engaging resources to her constructive feedback on classwork and homework. What stood out the most was Helen’s warm and encouraging approach. She created a supportive atmosphere that really helped our son build confidence, especially in areas of English that he had found challenging before. My son has attended Kumon for help with his reading, writing & comprehension. He attends the centre once a week, and has daily worksheets to work on from home. He has come on absolutely leaps & bounds. He has been awarded certificates from school for his creative writing, and he is now able to join in confidently with family games (Trivial Pursuit now being his favourite, followed by Pictionary). I'm so glad we made this decision to get him the help he needed, and Adele & her staff have been absolutely fantastic guiding us along.

My daughter near 1 year went to kip mc graph and it’s a brilliant education place for all children the environment was so great and full of positive energy for children 👧 and specially one lady name is mrs Leigh she is so patient and so much friendly with everyone,I’m so glad this year . Leigh, Sarah and the team at Kip Whitefield have been fantastic. They made learning fun again for my year 5/6 son and helped give him back his confidence and self-esteem. The online gamified home learning works really well where attention spans can be a struggle. After my son’s last session at Kip he asked could he keep going as he enjoyed it so much. Can’t really have better praise than that!

My son has been attending Kip McGrath for six years and absolutely loves it! He feel so comfortable there that it doesn’t feel like Work to him. Sam and all the teachers there have helped my son pass his entrance exam to get him into his dream school. They are very encouraging and make him feel confident when doing his work in school. If there’s something he’s struggling with, he will bring it in and Kip will teach him multiple ways of answering questions, he is struggling with so he can answer them with confidence. I’m pretty certain that he will stay there throughout the whole of his school education because he absolutely loves it and I would recommend the centre to everyone.

My daughter attended the 11 plus lessons here and absolutely loved it. The tutors were great and we received feedback on progress periodically. They got homeworks to do outside of their weekly tuition . I'm pleased to say that my daughter was succesful and scored very highly in the exams, enough to secure an offer in one of the outstanding grammar schools, even though we were outside catchment area. My son has been going to Kip since Year 6 and is leaving now as he finishes his GCSEs. He has enjoyed going, finds his tutor extremely helpful and approachable. I have been using this institution for many years, starting with my eldest son who is now studying in University. I have then admitted my other two children in this institution and have seen a massive spike in their grades and attitude to learn in school. I have seen their grades improve and confidence grow when going to school. I would totally recommend this tuition centre if you would like to see your child's grades and attitude towards learning improve.
