After months of trying out different tutors to help my son prepare for the 11+ exams , we came across Manchester Tutors. Abigail got back to us very quickly. We discussed what we needed and what I was looking for in a tutor. She reassured me that she will match my son with a suitable tutor for his needs which many tutor organisations fail to do. She matched our son with a tutor within 48hrs. Our tutor ( Christopher) is absoultly brilliant. He is very knowledgeable about 11+ which is hard to come across in my experience. The resources he uses are challenging which is needed for 11+ exams. After just 2 lessons, my son mentioned that he is the best tutor he has ever had ie ...the way he teaches he easily understands it . My 9 year old twins share a tutor, Amanda, who teaches them maths and English for one hour a week. She is a great influence on them, very charming and positive and they get through so much work with her. Really pleased with the progress my twins have achieved with Amanda.

I signed up with First Tutors a couple of months ago and got messages from prospective clients pretty much straight away. It's a really easy system to use, thorough checks are made and you have to supply references. I also like that contact details aren't shared until you've accepted a client and they have paid the release fee. It seems to be a really good system for both tutors and tutees.

I found First Tutors online when looking for someone to show me how to use Microsoft Powerpoint. I must admit I have had a fantastic experience on their website. I contacted a number of tutors and all got back quite promptly. As a mature student I feared I may be laughed at however I had a fantastic experience with the tutor I chose in the end. I highly recommend this website if you are looking for grinds or help with any subject!

My daughter has been tutored by Good success since age 8 for 11plus , she passed with flying colours and got admission to Loreto Grammar school. And then continued her tutorials through high school until GCSE again passed with several A* and then for A levels and UCAT . I am very pleased to say this is the final journey and she has passed and got admission to study medicine at the university of Newcastle. The Support has been extremely great each step of the way . My sincere appreciation goes to Mr and Mrs Olowoyo and the tutors, especially Dr Jimi for their support in the past 10years . What a journey, but it’s all worth it in the end !. Good Success Private Tuition is the best private tuition you can think of in Manchester, we came from Nigeria in 2022 and while we were waiting for school placement we enrolled my daughters in this private tuition to get them prepared for UK curriculum, I can categorically say this move made a difference not only they were able to settle in school, the foundation from this school made a difference till date, we have been receiving positive feedback from their school's aside from being the best in their various classes the morals and path to life they teach the children makes a difference. My daughter suffers with SEN. The tutoring at Atlas Tutors has been worth every penny. Her reading alone has come along leaps and bounds. My daughter started group tutoring in preparation for entrance exams with Carrie Burke Tutor Work and whilst the group setting didn’t work for her, Carrie was so supportive in finding the right tutor for her. We also benefitted from her mock exams, which really did build our daughter’s confidence and knowledge. Carrie has been a fantastic tutor for our son over the last few months. She has been helping him specifically with entrance exam preparation and I genuinely don't think he would have done as well without her. She has made him feel much more confident about the exams and helped him with technique and exam prep skills. Helen's Achievers+ Programme was a fantastic experience for our son. He genuinely looked forward to the weekly online lessons, which were thoughtfully planned and perfectly balanced between maths and English. It was clear how much care and effort Helen put into each session, from the preparation of engaging resources to her constructive feedback on classwork and homework. What stood out the most was Helen’s warm and encouraging approach. She created a supportive atmosphere that really helped our son build confidence, especially in areas of English that he had found challenging before. My son has really enjoyed attending the online sessions for the 11 plus Accelerator programme. Each week there is a different topic that all the children learn. During the lessons everyone gets the opportunity to talk and ask questions. Helen provides informative and enjoyable lessons. We have used Choice for Maths and English tuition for GCSE. From the outset, it felt as if care had been taken to understand our needs and match the tutor specifically to us. Both Sarah and Gemma have been fantastic over the last 3 years. Previously I’d struggled to find tutors who could engage and encourage in a way that suited Harry. Choice asked loads of questions about Harry and chose the tutors they thought would suit him and his personality. They were absolutely right and 3 years down the line we’re at the last push before his GCSE’s. They massively helped with missed learning from Covid and have supported and encouraged him every step of the way. Not only have they helped his subject knowledge, they’ve given him exam techniques he’s putting into practice and confidence when going into the exams. I first made an enquiry with Choice Tutoring back in March 2020. I was looking for a maths tutor for my daughter who at the time was in Y10. Lianne was my first point of contact and we quickly established a great relationship, Lianne has been accessible throughout the whole time that we have used Choice Tutoring either by text, phone or email. My daughter was paired with Amanda and we have never looked back. Due to timing, the whole of Amanda's lessons have been remote however this has not stopped my daughter and Amanda building a fantastic relationship. Amanda has not only helped with the knowledge side of things but has increased my daughter's confidence ten fold. She has gone from strength to strength and has just taken her last assessment towards her GCSE's and came out of the exam saying how much she had enjoyed it. I would definitely use Choice Tutoring again and I cannot recommend Amanda enough, she has been amazing.
