Working for the Tutor Trust as a primary school tutor has been the best experience. Helping underprivileged children build their confidence in English and Maths is just brilliant to see, and great to be a part of. The Tutor Trust is flexible work and fits perfectly round university studies. As well as being great in school experience if you are hoping to become a teacher one day! I would recommend this job to anyone who is a hard worker, respectable, kind and has the urge to help young people.

I’ve been working as a Secondary English Tutor at The Tutor Trust for nearly a year and it has been such a rewarding role. As a student, the excellent pay and flexible hours were perfect for my hectic schedule during the final year of my university studies. The assignments offered to tutors are varied and accessible, and the staff have great communication and offer support on assignments and valuable feedback on lesson plans. There are also plentiful opportunities for career development, such as the Advanced Tutor Pathway, Brand Ambassador work and great links with TeachFirst. I can’t recommend working for The Tutor Trust enough to my course mates, friends and family.

The Tutor trust is an excellent place to work. I began working here as a student and was immediately impressed with the opportunities they had to offer. They provide excellent training for tutors and cover the costs of necessary checks such as DBS which showed the care they have for both their tutors and the students that they provide tutoring for. They constantly ensure that I am able to build excellent relationships with the schools I work for and have excellent communication with me throughout my work. They also do an excellent job of keeping all tutors connected and provide thorough resources and training throughout working there, whether you are a new or experienced tutor. I would highly recommend The Tutor Trust both to anyone considering working for them or anyone seeking their tutoring services.

Through working as a primary tutor with The Tutor Trust, I have gained many essential skills which will be vital for my future career. It has been very fulfilling to mentor students for the past three years, and the charity offer flexible hours that fit around university timetables and other commitments, so there has never been any stress with arranging my shifts. The Tutor Trust offer a really competitive rate of pay, with pay for planning added on also. Tutoring with The Tutor Trust has been a really big part of my university experience, and I have nothing but good things to say about the charity :)

My son has started Smart kids and I wish i started him earlier. He is happy with the extra engagement that is available in smaller classes which would be quiet difficult to receive at school. He seems happy and motivated which I really struggled to build inside him. I am very happy and promote this place to parents for a better future for their children. All the best.

Smart kids is a brilliant place. My older daughter was there first and now my younger daughter is starting. I recommend it. My older daughter did really well in her GCSES as she gained confidence when attended smart kids.

After months of trying out different tutors to help my son prepare for the 11+ exams , we came across Manchester Tutors. Abigail got back to us very quickly. When myself and my daughter first went to see Ann we were unsure that she could help my daughter gain her qualifications to enable her to either get a decent job or access university. School and college had failed my daughter. The school specifically told me that she would achieve very little and college was in my opinion oversubscribed with little or no attention to a child that was struggling. Ann immediately set to work with Neivé. She was patient, attentive, supportive, encouraging, and extremely professional in her approach with the kindness of a mother figure my daughter started to believe in herself. On the lead up to her SAT’s, my Daughter began to get upset about her school maths classes, so we enrolled her at Kip in an attempt to boost both her skills & confidence. The difference we saw was amazing ! Her confidence soared & she actually gained the nickname ‘The Human Calculator’. She enjoyed her sessions & the ‘Kip Family’ so much that we continued her tutoring beyond her SAT’s & she’s now been with Ann & Ivan for almost 5 years. Maths has now become one of her favourite subjects & she continues to thrive in the top set at high school.

The progress Noah has made over the years working with Ann and Kip McGrath has been exceptional. At the beginning of his journey where he was massively behind his fellow peers to now, where he finds himself excelling beyond his age range in both Reading and Spelling, doing amazing in high school but more importantly the confidence he has found within himself. The success he has is celebrated by the Kip McGarth team just as much as anyone else, and the same goes that when he does well he can't wait for his next session to tell Ann how well he's done. I’ve had 2 children attend Kip, one who is dyslexic and the support received has been amazing. The whole team are lovely, and Ann is really helpful and accommodating. They offer support and advice, and have worked with their school and teachers to support them. My son uses coloured paper and this has never been an issue, the support he has been given has built his confidence with his academic abilities. I have and will keep on recommending Kip, not just for the tutoring but the personal support they offer as well.x

My son first attended Raise tuition after lockdown which affected his confidence in his school work massively. From the minute he went in on his first lesson, he met Alison and Emma and was immediately put at ease and actually looked forward to going every week. After only a few weeks we all noticed a huge difference in him. Not only was his school work improving but his confidence in class was too. He started back with raise tuition a few weeks back for the second time as he will be sitting his sats in a few weeks and his teacher felt he needed a push. This is a very good tuition centre. A few members of my family are students from there and they have improved with their work significantly. The staffs are very keen to work with every individuals on a personal level, making sure each students can achieve to their highest standards. The facilities are great and both of the tuition centres are always full with lively students. Also it is nice to see students have their own 'aim high' uniforms which gives me an impression that this tuition centre is the real deal. I highly recommend it and you won't be disappointed.

Stuart is a great English teacher. I’ve learnt a lot more than I have at my old tuition . I was at my old one for 6 years but learnt more in the 4 weeks I’ve been at aim high with Stuart. My math teacher is very approachable and always helps the students; his teaching is very calm and understandable overall he has helped my grades go from a B to an A. I finally understand what’s going on in science because my teacher actually takes time and makes sure each student understands the content which I appreciate. Overall aim high has deeply helped me and helped me raise my grades.

I believe that Aim High is a really good tuition for all the core subjects, maths especially. I have been going to the maths lessons in Aim High for 2 years, and I have been getting better scores in my tests because I used to get 90-95%, but now I am frequently getting 98-100%! I feel that Aim High is really good as they set homework on a website called Century ,weekly, and we use another website called ClassKick to enhance the learning we do at the beginning of the lessons, and apply it to the questions on there. The teachers are very kind and they are extremely motivating. They also have a clear plan of the lesson and will change it if a student is struggling. Therefore, Aim High is an amazing tuition - the best I've ever been to- and I highly recommend that you join as I currently LOVE IT! :)

My son Zahir recently started this tuition group and the progress I can see within just a few months is incredible. Not only do they perfect his academic skills but I am also frequently made aware of my son’s development. My daughter has been tutored by Good success since age 8 for 11plus , she passed with flying colours and got admission to Loreto Grammar school. And then continued her tutorials through high school until GCSE again passed with several A* and then for A levels and UCAT . I am very pleased to say this is the final journey and she has passed and got admission to study medicine at the university of Newcastle. The Support has been extremely great each step of the way . My sincere appreciation goes to Mr and Mrs Olowoyo and the tutors, especially Dr Jimi for their support in the past 10years . What a journey, but it’s all worth it in the end !.
