After months of trying out different tutors to help my son prepare for the 11+ exams , we came across Manchester Tutors. Abigail got back to us very quickly. We discussed what we needed and what I was looking for in a tutor. She reassured me that she will match my son with a suitable tutor for his needs which many tutor organisations fail to do. She matched our son with a tutor within 48hrs. Our tutor ( Christopher) is absoultly brilliant. He is very knowledgeable about 11+ which is hard to come across in my experience. I had to start my GCSE journey from Year 10 and GCSE was quite different from what I was learning from my Home country before. I had taken tuitions from Mr.Musa for Maths and Mrs.Suzanne for English and it has helped a lot. We migrated to England from different country and GCSE curriculum was something new for my daughter. We had taken support from Mr.Musa and Mrs.Suzanne to train our daughter and that too in a short notice. Maths and English were exceptionally taught and concepts made very clearer to understand in the way which my child can pick up. We could see improvement in the grades. My daughter has been attending Chorlton Tuition Centre for the past 18 months. She had a lot of gaps in her learning following the pandemic/ lockdown and had lost a lot of confidence. Weekly tuition has really helped my daughter to catch up, and her confidence has grown. Charlotte is so lovely and patient, and my daughter really enjoys the sessions (she previously would do anything to avoid school work). We always get a handover from Charlotte at the end of the session so I know what my daughter has been working on and anything we as parents can do to help her at home. My daughter has been tutored by Good success since age 8 for 11plus , she passed with flying colours and got admission to Loreto Grammar school. And then continued her tutorials through high school until GCSE again passed with several A* and then for A levels and UCAT . I am very pleased to say this is the final journey and she has passed and got admission to study medicine at the university of Newcastle. The Support has been extremely great each step of the way . Good Success Private Tuition is the best private tuition you can think of in Manchester, we came from Nigeria in 2022 and while we were waiting for school placement we enrolled my daughters in this private tuition to get them prepared for UK curriculum, I can categorically say this move made a difference not only they were able to settle in school, the foundation from this school made a difference till date, we have been receiving positive feedback from their school's aside from being the best in their various classes the morals and path to life they teach the children makes a difference. My two daughters started with Sharon at Kumon in 2021 after missing a lot of time in the classroom because of COVID. It took them a while to get into the swing of it, having homework everyday but very soon they started to exceed where they should be at school and grew more confident in their approach. As their confidence grew they started to really enjoy it! Sharon and the team have been wonderful and really supportive, even helped my eldest in her year 6 SATS. They are now both excelling in Maths at school, scoring way above average in progress tests.

My two kids started at Kumon (doing both English & Maths) about 3 months ago. Sharon has gone above and beyond getting to know both kids individual interests and personalities so that she can engage them in their learning. Whilst the Kumon method is designed to encourage children to work above their age range our reasons for choosing Kumon were to consolidate the basics that were missed during covid and to build our kids confidence in subjects they don’t find naturally easy. Sharon instantly understood this and has adapted the programme to suit each child and their learning needs ie. lots of regular encouraging messages to the one who lacks confidence and shorter worksheets for the one that is dyslexic as Sharon quickly recognised that he tires quickly. Kumon isn’t just for those wanting to support their children in achieving high grades at school. We have found the repetitive ‘over learning’ style of Kumon is perfect for dyslexic children and also helps build a childs own belief in their abilities. Plus having set work to do at home takes the stress away for us parents to try and figure out where our kids learning gaps are and what we can do to support them. I can’t thank Sharon and her team enough. She is responsive to all our (many) questions and regularly provides updates on our kids learning. Her positive and engaged nature is also reflected within her team evidence by the safe learning space they have created at Kumon.

My daughter joined Kumon 9 months ago but had a 4 months period of serious illness and missing classroom time. Sharon and her team were very supportive during this time. I did not think my daughter would catch up on her learning because of the nature of her illness. I had also noticed a change in her focus and attention. Sharon was amazing with her! She did not overwhelm her, she gave her enough work to get her confidence back. During days when she was tired, Sharon was so encouraging and occasionally said ‘she was doing better than she expected’. Now, her confidence is back. Helen and her team are just wonderful. My daughter felt so supported throughout this entire 11+ journey/process. It is so much for a 10year to undertake but Helen and the team make it easy. The group sessions made tutoring fun and supportive. My daughter has made so lovely friends and hopes to see them again in the future. My son started with 11+ tutoring and now in year 9 has returned to Beyond for an English booster. The group sessions have really boosted his confidence and helped him to focus on his writing. We love BE so much my daughter has started in the phonics groups and her blending and reading has got so much better. Coming out of the sessions she is so excitable about the reward sticker and says she has played games rather than 'work'.
