My little brother (GCSE) was struggling with a few topics in Maths which Mr Burma explained brilliantly to him. He felt confident after his session in those topics. My son was tutored by Christopher leading to him securing a place at his first choice of Grammar School. I saw a really significant improvement in my son's confidence and knowledge. His creative writing skills came on leaps and bounds after attending the creative writing workshop. I would highly recommend Christopher and Eleven Plus Tutors, especially their creative writing workshops and practice exams.

Christopher has been tutoring our son for the last 18 months or so. He has such an amazing rapport with kids. He encouraged and supported our son, inspiring him and boosting his confidence. Our son successfully secured an out of catchment place at AGSB and was also awarded an academic scholarship at a fantastic independent school. He was fully prepared for the exams, going into them relaxed and confident, as a result of high quality tutoring and as a result of attending the mock exams offered by Eleven Plus Tutors. Eleven Plus Tutors even facilitated remote facilities so he could take part, even though we were away from home. I highly recommend Christopher and Eleven Plus Tutors. I have already lined them up to tutor our youngest.

My son was tutored by Christopher for eight months prior to the eleven plus exam. He was able to consolidate his knowledge in both maths and English, and fill in any gaps in his learning needed for this exam. Christopher also helped with strategies for verbal and nonverbal reasoning. Hari attended the exam preparation sessions, mock exams and some of the essay writing workshops. I can’t recommend Christopher highly enough. Hari was offered a place at his first choice Grammar school and was offered an academic scholarship at his first choice independent school. My younger son, with a very different learning method is now being tutored by Christopher and is thriving in his lessons. We are currently having online lessons with Christopher which are working extremely well. I would highly recommend anyone planning to put their children in for entrance exams to contact Eleven Plus Tutors.

We first approached Christopher in February/March this year. After an initial assessment, our daughter commenced weekly lessons with one of the tutors (Jeremy). Jeremy was very approachable, friendly and our daughter got on very well with him from the outset. Jeremy was very good at explaining things and when my daughter was uncertain, she never felt uncomfortable telling him that she did not understand. Jeremy provided lots of papers to assist my daughter in preparing for the 11 plus and even she has said that the mock test (arranged by them) was helpful as she definitely felt less nervous about the actual exam. We received our daughters results yesterday and we’re so pleased that she had passed and not only did she get the required score for the school we had hoped, she also gained a enough to be considered by Altrincham Grammar. We can’t thank Christopher and Jeremy enough for their help and support and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering putting their child in for the 11 plus :)

We have used Choice for Maths and English tuition for GCSE. From the outset, it felt as if care had been taken to understand our needs and match the tutor specifically to us. We contacted Choice Home Tutoring when it became apparent our son was struggling to get to grips with his Biology A-Level course. We were put in touch with Helen who from the outset was incredibly warm and encouraging and she kind of just demystified the subject for him! I am a year 11 student. My name is @@@ My parents decided to home school me, as they felt it would be better for me to be taught by private tutors. When I was in high school last year, I felt I was not taught well. The teachers did not really help or guide me. When we googled for private tuition the first centre that came up was Prestige : The Tuition Centre, my mum and my dad showed me some of the views and said let’s visit it. My dad told Bano that he was more than happy to leave me with her to teach me fr my GCSEs. I feel that being homeschooled is the best choice ever. There are other children here being homeschooled, and I have another yr 11. We have become great mates and support each other. I also feel that we have so much respect from the tutors We have both 1:1 sessions and group sessions. We have sports in the park,football and basketball ball. We have shared lunch once a week with the tutors, and it makes it a great experience. All the tutors, Bano, Adibah, Rupasi, Khiresh, Adham, Angelina, and others, make it a great place for us to learn. My predicted grades are between 7-9. My parents are so happy we picked the right place for my home schooling.

Every prospective student began their journey with a diagnostic test for the subject of interest, while the director and teachers engaged with parents or guardians to gain a deeper understanding of each child’s background and unique needs. This thoughtful process laid the foundation for crafting tailored weekly and monthly study plans. Weekly tests, culminating in a comprehensive monthly assessment that covered four weeks of material, allowed the centre to closely monitor and celebrate the student’s progress. Parents received regular updates, ensuring transparency and a shared commitment to the child’s academic growth. From the outset, tuition sessions were designed to build mastery from basic concepts, without any assumptions about the student’s current school level. Encouragement, rigorous practice, and regular revisions helped transform initial uncertainties into a confident ability to tackle challenging math problems. My son started with 11+ tutoring and now in year 9 has returned to Beyond for an English booster. The group sessions have really boosted his confidence and helped him to focus on his writing. We love BE so much my daughter has started in the phonics groups and her blending and reading has got so much better. Coming out of the sessions she is so excitable about the reward sticker and says she has played games rather than 'work'.

I've been learning Korean with Amy since Jan 2024. Learning a new language is really hard but I have really enjoyed my new hobby and seeing the progress I've made in such a short time is exciting. Amy's lessons are always so well-structured but also fun and engaging. She always has times for questions when I am uncertain on something. She also incorporates special lessons, like learning about Korean history, culture and food, which are always really fun and informative! I started learning Korean with Amy a couple of months ago. I was nervous at first, but Amy is a really good teacher. She explains everything until you understand it. She is also funny and makes the lessons so fun. There is also assignments, quizes, lessons that is linked to your interests which makes everything interesting and informative in an enjoyable way. I don’t write reviews normally but Amy definitely deserves to have one wrote about her. Amy is a kind and patient tutor with me, I originally wanted to learn Korean for travelling but now I want to make it a second language. The way Any goes through the lessons I feel like they are the perfect pace and they are challenging enough to be enjoyable as she’s not a tutor that makes the students write off a whiteboard, Amy is very engaging with the tasks and when we are doing a speaking task she makes me feel like I’m speaking with a friend rather than a teacher. She’s also amazing in the fact that she gives me recommendations for my personal life, outside the classroom bubble, because I live in greater Manchester she gives me recommendations to places to go for food or shops to go to when she gives me new food recipes to make for my family. I would highly recommend any for someone who is wanted to learn Korean whether it is for fun, travelling or just to learn as a second language.

I’ve been working as a Secondary English Tutor at The Tutor Trust for nearly a year and it has been such a rewarding role. As a student, the excellent pay and flexible hours were perfect for my hectic schedule during the final year of my university studies.
