I’ve been working as a Secondary English Tutor at The Tutor Trust for nearly a year and it has been such a rewarding role. As a student, the excellent pay and flexible hours were perfect for my hectic schedule during the final year of my university studies. The assignments offered to tutors are varied and accessible, and the staff have great communication and offer support on assignments and valuable feedback on lesson plans. There are also plentiful opportunities for career development, such as the Advanced Tutor Pathway, Brand Ambassador work and great links with TeachFirst. I can’t recommend working for The Tutor Trust enough to my course mates, friends and family.

Working for The Tutor Trust is the best job I ever had. They are an amazing company that does important work transforming young people's lives. You do not need previous teaching or tutoring experience to work for The Tutor Trust, as the staff are absolutely fantastic and supportive, and there are many training courses made available to turn you into the best tutor you can be. The Tutor trust is an excellent place to work. I began working here as a student and was immediately impressed with the opportunities they had to offer. They provide excellent training for tutors and cover the costs of necessary checks such as DBS which showed the care they have for both their tutors and the students that they provide tutoring for. They constantly ensure that I am able to build excellent relationships with the schools I work for and have excellent communication with me throughout my work. They also do an excellent job of keeping all tutors connected and provide thorough resources and training throughout working there, whether you are a new or experienced tutor. I would highly recommend The Tutor Trust both to anyone considering working for them or anyone seeking their tutoring services.

Working for the Tutor Trust as a primary school tutor has been the best experience. Helping underprivileged children build their confidence in English and Maths is just brilliant to see, and great to be a part of. The Tutor Trust is flexible work and fits perfectly round university studies. As well as being great in school experience if you are hoping to become a teacher one day! I would recommend this job to anyone who is a hard worker, respectable, kind and has the urge to help young people.

My daughter started at First Class Learning in September and I have already seen a big improvement in her Maths and English skills. Harriet and the team are lovely and friendly and have made my daughter feel really welcome. She looks forward to her weekly sessions at the centre and is even keen to do her homework! During lockdown, sessions were done over Skype which also worked really well. I would definitely recommend First Class Learning.

My daughter Ella is in year 10 and after the pandemic was struggling to cope with her Maths at school. The First class learning Swinton team have really brought on her confidence with the subject. Ella has had such a wonderful experience here and looks forward to going every week. The staff are brilliant and so supportive. I'm really pleased with how they have helped Ella progress towards her GCSEs next year.

I can’t thank FCL Swinton enough for the confidence they have brought back to my son’s learning. My son can get very distracted at school but FCL have put provisions in place to help him stay focused and enjoy his tutoring time without him feeling “tied” to his desk. He is now ahead for his learning in maths and his school teachers have commented on how much more positive his attitude to learning is since he started at FCL. I’m kept constantly up to date with his progress and I love that the tutors will happily give me support in helping my son’s learning at home. My daughter attended the 11 plus lessons here and absolutely loved it. The tutors were great and we received feedback on progress periodically. They got homeworks to do outside of their weekly tuition . I'm pleased to say that my daughter was succesful and scored very highly in the exams, enough to secure an offer in one of the outstanding grammar schools, even though we were outside catchment area. My son has been attending Kip McGrath for six years and absolutely loves it! He feel so comfortable there that it doesn’t feel like Work to him. Sam and all the teachers there have helped my son pass his entrance exam to get him into his dream school. They are very encouraging and make him feel confident when doing his work in school. If there’s something he’s struggling with, he will bring it in and Kip will teach him multiple ways of answering questions, he is struggling with so he can answer them with confidence. I’m pretty certain that he will stay there throughout the whole of his school education because he absolutely loves it and I would recommend the centre to everyone.

My daughter went there to prepare for 11plus exam. The tutors are all amazing! They helped my daughter and pushed her to reach her best and boosted her confidence a lot. Kip McGrath Walkden is an amazing place for any child to get the customized academic support that they need. The tutors are warm, encouraging, qualified, engaging and very tuned in to the needs of each child they teach. My children have wonderful things to say about all of their tutors and I see this reflected in how well they are doing at school. 5/5 for outstanding value! My son has just been offered a place at a grammar school that was his first choice. His tutors at KM Walkden have been amazing at offering bespoke advice, guidance and support all through his 11 plus journey. My daughter has been attending Chorlton Tuition Centre for the past 18 months. She had a lot of gaps in her learning following the pandemic/ lockdown and had lost a lot of confidence. Weekly tuition has really helped my daughter to catch up, and her confidence has grown. Charlotte is so lovely and patient, and my daughter really enjoys the sessions (she previously would do anything to avoid school work). We always get a handover from Charlotte at the end of the session so I know what my daughter has been working on and anything we as parents can do to help her at home. My daughter's aged 7 and 8 have been attending Chorlton Tuition Centre for over a year, twice per week and enjoy their sessions. Their tutors Charlotte and Rosanna have been brilliant with adapting to both my daughter's learning style which has meant fantastic results in their school exams. They have a reward sticker system which has encouraged their desire to learn. I can’t recommend choice home tutoring enough. Jo is extremely professional, caring and amazing with what she does. Having struggled with tricky maths topics I decided it was time to get some private tuition. I wanted to pass my gcse maths so desperately - so I could go on to do my pgce. Therefore, I set out looking for the best tutor possible. I didn't have to search very far as I already followed Mr Mahmud on instagram. Thankfully, he agreed to tutor me! My worst fear was Algebra, but he helped me overcome this with his phenomenal teaching. I sat the gcse maths exam in November 2020 and received my results on 14th January 2021 - I passed! In a short span of time he was able to help prepare me for my exam. Honestly, I can not recommend him enough! He is simply amazing, and goes out of his way to ensure he leaves no stone unturned when it comes to your learning - you won't regret it.

We have used Choice for Maths and English tuition for GCSE. From the outset, it felt as if care had been taken to understand our needs and match the tutor specifically to us. We contacted Choice Home Tutoring when it became apparent our son was struggling to get to grips with his Biology A-Level course. Both of our daughters have received tuition from Clearsteps, and have really enjoyed it. They have provided that little extra support they needed beyond what the school can provide.
