We first approached Christopher in February/March this year. After an initial assessment, our daughter commenced weekly lessons with one of the tutors (Jeremy). Jeremy was very approachable, friendly and our daughter got on very well with him from the outset. Jeremy was very good at explaining things and when my daughter was uncertain, she never felt uncomfortable telling him that she did not understand. Jeremy provided lots of papers to assist my daughter in preparing for the 11 plus and even she has said that the mock test (arranged by them) was helpful as she definitely felt less nervous about the actual exam. We received our daughters results yesterday and we’re so pleased that she had passed and not only did she get the required score for the school we had hoped, she also gained a enough to be considered by Altrincham Grammar. We can’t thank Christopher and Jeremy enough for their help and support and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering putting their child in for the 11 plus :)

Christopher has been tutoring our son for the last 18 months or so. He has such an amazing rapport with kids. He encouraged and supported our son, inspiring him and boosting his confidence. Our son successfully secured an out of catchment place at AGSB and was also awarded an academic scholarship at a fantastic independent school. He was fully prepared for the exams, going into them relaxed and confident, as a result of high quality tutoring and as a result of attending the mock exams offered by Eleven Plus Tutors. There aren’t enough compliments for Rifat and her exceptional teaching skills. Her patience, perseverance and her obvious passion for teaching have transformed our son. He was taught English and Maths and there has been a phenomenal improvement in our son. There were times when he surprised both of us with his ability to solve difficult mathematical challenges using the skills he had been taught. He passed all of the independent school exams and we cannot thank Rifat enough for everything she has done over the last year.

My son was tutored by Christopher for eight months prior to the eleven plus exam. He was able to consolidate his knowledge in both maths and English, and fill in any gaps in his learning needed for this exam. Christopher also helped with strategies for verbal and nonverbal reasoning. Hari attended the exam preparation sessions, mock exams and some of the essay writing workshops. I can’t recommend Christopher highly enough. Hari was offered a place at his first choice Grammar school and was offered an academic scholarship at his first choice independent school. My younger son, with a very different learning method is now being tutored by Christopher and is thriving in his lessons. We are currently having online lessons with Christopher which are working extremely well. I would highly recommend anyone planning to put their children in for entrance exams to contact Eleven Plus Tutors.

My son has improved by leaps and bounds since we engaged with Manchester Tutors. He really struggled with maths, science, business and history before his tutoring began. I can't recommend this enough to parents who want to help their children prepare for GCSE's.

I am a year 11 student. My name is @@@ My parents decided to home school me, as they felt it would be better for me to be taught by private tutors. When I was in high school last year, I felt I was not taught well. The teachers did not really help or guide me. When we googled for private tuition the first centre that came up was Prestige : The Tuition Centre, my mum and my dad showed me some of the views and said let’s visit it. My dad told Bano that he was more than happy to leave me with her to teach me fr my GCSEs. I feel that being homeschooled is the best choice ever. There are other children here being homeschooled, and I have another yr 11. We have become great mates and support each other. I also feel that we have so much respect from the tutors We have both 1:1 sessions and group sessions. We have sports in the park,football and basketball ball. Every prospective student began their journey with a diagnostic test for the subject of interest, while the director and teachers engaged with parents or guardians to gain a deeper understanding of each child’s background and unique needs. This thoughtful process laid the foundation for crafting tailored weekly and monthly study plans. Weekly tests, culminating in a comprehensive monthly assessment that covered four weeks of material, allowed the centre to closely monitor and celebrate the student’s progress. Parents received regular updates, ensuring transparency and a shared commitment to the child’s academic growth. From the outset, tuition sessions were designed to build mastery from basic concepts, without any assumptions about the student’s current school level. Maria makes learning Spanish make sense. I have never been confident about learning languages, but I really wanted to learn Spanish, and I’m really glad that she had space for me. I have learnt more Spanish than I thought possible and somehow I’m still making progress! Just goes to show that you can teach an old dog new tricks. One other thing to say is that her custom made worksheets are the best! I like the way she pulls out the patterns in the language.

I've been having Spanish lessons with Maria for about 7 months now. She is so friendly and welcoming. In my first lesson, she explained the various aspects of language-learning (speech, reading, listening, etc). This really helped set my expectations for my own progress and gave me more confidence in my own abilities. I had some basic knowledge from a previous Spanish course but my progress with Maria was so much greater. I'm learning Spanish for personal reasons and since I'm not sitting an exam, we progress at my own pace. Her set up for lessons is ideal for the learning process and she produces her own worksheets which are full of helpful hints that aren't necessarily found in text-books. Having struggled with tricky maths topics I decided it was time to get some private tuition. I wanted to pass my gcse maths so desperately - so I could go on to do my pgce. Therefore, I set out looking for the best tutor possible. I didn't have to search very far as I already followed Mr Mahmud on instagram. Thankfully, he agreed to tutor me! My worst fear was Algebra, but he helped me overcome this with his phenomenal teaching. I sat the gcse maths exam in November 2020 and received my results on 14th January 2021 - I passed! In a short span of time he was able to help prepare me for my exam. Honestly, I can not recommend him enough! He is simply amazing, and goes out of his way to ensure he leaves no stone unturned when it comes to your learning - you won't regret it.
