I can't thank the ladies enough with all the help that they have given my son over the years. At first I was sceptical about group lessons, but I have really seen him flourish and develop confidence . He finds the lessons enjoyable, and I am really impressed with how well they know my son's strengths and weaknesses. We've done LKS2 English, Year 4 prep and are heading into Year 5 11+ prep. I have used and continue to use Learn North West for both my boys. We’ve done mock exams, summer school, dyslexia tuition and KS3 group sessions. All the team we have come into contact with have been really friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My boys enjoy attending sessions at the centre and they are having a positive impact on their results in school but more importantly is the impact it is having on their confidence in the subjects. I would highly recommend Learn North West.

Helen and her team have been fantastic throughout the 11+ preparation for our daughter. Initially, we were sceptical about choosing group sessions over one-to-one tutoring, worrying that it might not offer the same level of attention. However, we made the decision knowing our daughter would enjoy the group setting more — and she did. • The group lessons created a supportive and engaging environment where she could learn alongside peers, which made the process more enjoyable for her. • The tutors quickly identified her strengths and areas for improvement, providing focused support within the group. • We saw her confidence grow as she felt more comfortable and prepared for the exams. • The team was always available for any questions or concerns we had, making the experience easier for us as parents. Helen and her team are just wonderful. My daughter felt so supported throughout this entire 11+ journey/process. It is so much for a 10year to undertake but Helen and the team make it easy. The group sessions made tutoring fun and supportive. My daughter has made so lovely friends and hopes to see them again in the future. She felt prepared for the 11+, not only academically but emotionally. They are always only a text message away for any advice or support you need as a child or a parent going through the 11+. My son also attends learn north west for year 4 curriculum tutoring and again I can’t fault the service they provide. Highly recommended!

We first approached Christopher in February/March this year. After an initial assessment, our daughter commenced weekly lessons with one of the tutors (Jeremy). Jeremy was very approachable, friendly and our daughter got on very well with him from the outset. Jeremy was very good at explaining things and when my daughter was uncertain, she never felt uncomfortable telling him that she did not understand. Jeremy provided lots of papers to assist my daughter in preparing for the 11 plus and even she has said that the mock test (arranged by them) was helpful as she definitely felt less nervous about the actual exam. We received our daughters results yesterday and we’re so pleased that she had passed and not only did she get the required score for the school we had hoped, she also gained a enough to be considered by Altrincham Grammar. We can’t thank Christopher and Jeremy enough for their help and support and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering putting their child in for the 11 plus :)

Christopher has been tutoring our son for the last 18 months or so. He has such an amazing rapport with kids. He encouraged and supported our son, inspiring him and boosting his confidence. Our son successfully secured an out of catchment place at AGSB and was also awarded an academic scholarship at a fantastic independent school. He was fully prepared for the exams, going into them relaxed and confident, as a result of high quality tutoring and as a result of attending the mock exams offered by Eleven Plus Tutors. Eleven Plus Tutors even facilitated remote facilities so he could take part, even though we were away from home. I highly recommend Christopher and Eleven Plus Tutors. I have already lined them up to tutor our youngest.

There aren’t enough compliments for Rifat and her exceptional teaching skills. Her patience, perseverance and her obvious passion for teaching have transformed our son. He was taught English and Maths and there has been a phenomenal improvement in our son. There were times when he surprised both of us with his ability to solve difficult mathematical challenges using the skills he had been taught. He passed all of the independent school exams and we cannot thank Rifat enough for everything she has done over the last year.

My son was tutored by Christopher for eight months prior to the eleven plus exam. He was able to consolidate his knowledge in both maths and English, and fill in any gaps in his learning needed for this exam. Christopher also helped with strategies for verbal and nonverbal reasoning. Hari attended the exam preparation sessions, mock exams and some of the essay writing workshops. I can’t recommend Christopher highly enough. Hari was offered a place at his first choice Grammar school and was offered an academic scholarship at his first choice independent school. My younger son, with a very different learning method is now being tutored by Christopher and is thriving in his lessons. We are currently having online lessons with Christopher which are working extremely well. I would highly recommend anyone planning to put their children in for entrance exams to contact Eleven Plus Tutors.

Good Success Private Tuition is the best private tuition you can think of in Manchester, we came from Nigeria in 2022 and while we were waiting for school placement we enrolled my daughters in this private tuition to get them prepared for UK curriculum, I can categorically say this move made a difference not only they were able to settle in school, the foundation from this school made a difference till date, we have been receiving positive feedback from their school's aside from being the best in their various classes the morals and path to life they teach the children makes a difference. My daughter has been tutored by Good success since age 8 for 11plus , she passed with flying colours and got admission to Loreto Grammar school. And then continued her tutorials through high school until GCSE again passed with several A* and then for A levels and UCAT . I am very pleased to say this is the final journey and she has passed and got admission to study medicine at the university of Newcastle. The Support has been extremely great each step of the way . My sincere appreciation goes to Mr and Mrs Olowoyo and the tutors, especially Dr Jimi for their support in the past 10years . What a journey, but it’s all worth it in the end !. My son Zahir recently started this tuition group and the progress I can see within just a few months is incredible. Not only do they perfect his academic skills but I am also frequently made aware of my son’s development. Stuart is a great English teacher. I’ve learnt a lot more than I have at my old tuition . I was at my old one for 6 years but learnt more in the 4 weeks I’ve been at aim high with Stuart. My math teacher is very approachable and always helps the students; his teaching is very calm and understandable overall he has helped my grades go from a B to an A. I finally understand what’s going on in science because my teacher actually takes time and makes sure each student understands the content which I appreciate. Overall aim high has deeply helped me and helped me raise my grades.

My kids attended Newell for their 11plus tuition, and also participated in all the mock exams. Nate Nicholson took my Son two years ago and he did very well. Same reason I insisted he should tutor my daughter this year. My daughter performed even better. Not only that I trust Newell’s curriculum for prepping kids for 11 plus, their 1-2-1 approach to tutoring also helps in focusing on kids as individuals, thereby helping to understand their strengths and weaknesses and tailoring their learning accordingly. Being new to the UK, we were initially very apprehensive in my son’s preparation for the Grammar school entrance. We chose Newell Tuition and Eshaan's tutor Chloe is very supportive and provided continuous support and motivation. He felt enthusiastic in going to Chloe's lessons. Through working as a primary tutor with The Tutor Trust, I have gained many essential skills which will be vital for my future career. I’ve been working as a Secondary English Tutor at The Tutor Trust for nearly a year and it has been such a rewarding role. As a student, the excellent pay and flexible hours were perfect for my hectic schedule during the final year of my university studies. Working for the Tutor Trust as a primary school tutor has been the best experience. I’ve had 2 children attend Kip, one who is dyslexic and the support received has been amazing. The whole team are lovely, and Ann is really helpful and accommodating. They offer support and advice, and have worked with their school and teachers to support them. My son uses coloured paper and this has never been an issue, the support he has been given has built his confidence with his academic abilities. On the lead up to her SAT’s, my Daughter began to get upset about her school maths classes, so we enrolled her at Kip in an attempt to boost both her skills & confidence. The progress Noah has made over the years working with Ann and Kip McGrath has been exceptional. At the beginning of his journey where he was massively behind his fellow peers to now, where he finds himself excelling beyond his age range in both Reading and Spelling, doing amazing in high school but more importantly the confidence he has found within himself.
