🐢 Great addition to Withington cafes! Warm and friendly atmosphere every time we’ve visited. ☕️Owner Theo is lovely and has sourced the best coffee (Kobean and Swan Song) and served in beautiful handmade ceramic mugs make your brew feel extra special. 🥐They also serve the best pastries from independent suppliers across Manchester (the Almond pain au chocolate from La Choquette was incredible 🤤) and the sandwiches using local seasonal veg were delicious. Thoroughly recommend!

Best choice if you’re looking for quality coffee in a beautiful environment. All staff are extremely friendly and love what they are doing. The owner is super welcoming and has put his personal touch on this place making it even more special. Great place if you’re solo or with friends!

Rays eggs Benedict 😍 always the best! Lovely runny poached eggs, beautiful hollandaise. The girls who work there are so lovely & so is Ray! Always remembers you if you have been once or 10 times. Great place

AMAZING FOOD! I ordered the vegetarian pho with tofu and veggie chicken (which was delicious) and the portion size was huge! This bowl is bigger than my head. Their menu prices have gone up slightly compared to another photo you might find in reviews but it is still great prices for great food and lovely service, staff went out of their way for me and made sure to say goodbye even when they were enjoying their own lunch! Would recommend, even the coffee was lovely :)

My go to place, the broth is so suited to my palette, and definitely offer the spring rolls! Get there before lunchtime on a weekend as it gets busy! But customer service is always great!

I ordered the Phở Đặc Biệt, and it was really good! The broth was deeply aromatic and bursting with rich flavors—hands down the best pho I’ve had in a long time. The Cà Phê Special was loaded with a fantastic mix of rare steak, shin of beef, beef flank, chicken, pork belly, pork roll, and king prawns. The portion size was very generous. The staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for a standout pho experience, this place is an absolute must-try.

Absolutely superb place - set in an old historic bank with plenty of marble lining the walls, this is an iconic location for a meal or simply a drink. The service was second to none. We had a friendly bar tender, Oscar, who just made things easy for us. We had the 2 courses for £18.95 menu; effortlessly delicious. Highly recommend

We had a private dining for our wedding celebration which was so great, the foods were so tasty and presentable, the decorations of browns is fabulous. The staffs were so helpful I would like to compliment especially Sarah and Marco, Sarah was so kind and helped us to prepare the decorations she provided things as we requested which made me blown away. Marco was so nice and helpful and kind. The service from Browns made our big day special and remarkable

We enjoyed the private dining experience with Marco as our waiter. We had canapés to start, followed by the three course menu. The food was delicious. There was a nice choice of drinks so our guests all had options they liked. Special thanks to Marco who really went above and beyond to look after our guests & us. Marco is a real asset to the Browns Team.

I’ve only ever been to federal on Oxford Road but this one is equally amazing. I swear by the French toast !! And I’d never tried a sandwich from there before but the steak sandwich doesn’t disappoint, steak is so perfectly cooked and so tender. The staff are absolutely amazing too !! I think it was the manager that found a table for us to sit at because ours was wobbly!

What an absolute gem in the middle of Manchester’s shopping madness. Big shout out to staff who make the place! Beyond expectations approachable and friendly. Great queue managers too! Visit two of their branches it really didn’t disappoint. If I’m not mistaken this is the biggest branch compared to the other. I have to queue for 15 minutes ish to be able to get a seat. The vibes lively yet warm and cozy, not to mention the friendly staff. Coming here twice both ordered Turkish eggs always, it was creamy, fulfilling also has interesting sauce, for another order we tried french toast it was superb. Coffee was top notch, the drink also has various options depending on your preferences. Must visit if you’re in Manchester! No wonder it’s super popular

Had an enjoyable time here! The place is so welcoming with all the wooden decor. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. There’s quite a lot of options for both drinks and food. We have ordered a sour cream salmon bagel and a steak sandwich with scrambled eggs. Everything tastes amazing, especially the sandwich. I’ve ordered a matcha which said it’s non-sweetened. It tastes just right and not too milky.

Great food great services all nice people everything’s always on point apart from the coffee it’s always cold on delivery and I only live down the road so don’t understand why other than that great place to eat/order from

Fresh hot breakfast delivered to my door on a Saturday morning. The black pudding's incredible. All cooked just how i liked it. Cheap as chips. Fabulous service.

Friendly people running this place. They take orders over the phone and are really pleasant to me at 7:30am in the morning :-) I regularly order 'Breakfast Butties' from here as a treat for my group at work. They've never got my order wrong, it's always ready for the time I've organised. Egg, tomato, mushrooms, sausage, bacon etc. cooked perfectly and wrapped in foil. Money well spent in my opinion :-)

The design is perfect, the concept is perfect the presentation is perfect. Despite the fact that they’re busy especially on a Sunday, the waiting time for your food is short. The coffee is good (most coffees in Manchester tastes stronger compared to London but this place was good!) I’d say this place is a must visit if in Manchester!

What a nice place to come, have breakfast and relax. This is my first time here and it was a nice ambiance. The food and coffee were amazing. We had the pleasure of having Kate and Laura assist us. They were very attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in to Manchester.

It was my first time visiting and it definitely will not be my last! Me & my partner were seated quickly with a warm welcome and explained the menu and how to order. The bloody Mary’s were to die for, possibly the best I’ve ever had! The food was fresh and delicious and always served with a smile, worth every penny!

Went for brunch today at Ezra & Gil (Helper and Happiness) Hilton Street Manchester. Our server was Kate, she was very helpful and let us change scrambled eggs for poached on 1 of the brunch orders. We asked for the drinks to come with the food so you don't get the drinks first, and then have to order more she was very concerned if we had any allergies, which was excellent. We ordered French toast which was amazing, and 2 breakfasts, the scrambled eggs were the best my wife has ever had and my poached eggs were nice and runny, the food came quickly and was very well cooked and hot Dog friendly always a bonus, lots of high chairs were also available for young families, great mix of customers, both old and young, you can also buy their products , coffee beans and bread, takeaway also available, recommend checking this establishment out, you can also get alcohol .

Really nice place for breakfast if visiting Manchester. Food was delish we had Turkish eggs and American pancakes. Reasonable prices and the staff were really friendly.

This place under promises on the outside and over delivers on the inside. It looks like your average high street cafe, then you step in to a quirky cool place to eat. Service was perfect & food was 5 star, definitely worth the money. I would recommend this place for breakfast we had the Manc Muffins and they are better than a McDonalds one.

Had the Big Yin because I was craving some haggis and needed to fuel up for a big day. Every meat was savory and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a more well-rounded meal, you may want to get something else as it did end up being quite a bit of meat. The portion sizes are deceptively big for the price, I wasn't even close to getting through it all! The staff was really attentive despite how busy the place was. Would definitely come back to try that Manc Breakfast next time I'm in town.

Busy Saturday morning but we was seated quickly. Juices were fresh and food was delicious. Only disappointed was the coffee it tasted like they was form vending machine which was quite surprising.

Food and drinks are spot on! Salmon comes in generous portions as well as the soup. They’re both flavourful Also they make the best smoothie and milkshakes! Will definitely go back for different menu Service is okay but atmosphere can be loud during peak times

It’s definitely a must-try for anyone looking for something unique yet satisfying. Scone with Cream and Jam 🥯 The scone was fresh and had a perfectly crumbly texture that paired excellently with the thick, rich clotted cream and fruity jam. Each bite felt like a little bit of heaven. Ambiance & Service ✨ The cafe itself has such a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Sugar Junction delivered delicious drinks, heavenly scones, and a relaxing ambience on every front. Such a lovely atmosphere and cute vibe. I bring my mom to enjoy the afternoon tea and it was perfect. I loved the scone so much. It was fluffy and perfectly match with cream and jam. I also loved the brunch and rest of the cake and tea as well. Definitely recommend🥰

Had lovely afternoon tea, maybe should have ordered one to share!! The cafe is quirky but worth a visit. Our only small negative is we wished we had been asked which cake we would like, pistachio is not my thing.

Probably one of the best cafes within NQ! I’ve been a regular for almost a year and the service never fails to disappoint! The staff are very friendly and attentive. They serve the best hot chocolates and probably one of the best brownies within Manchester! Would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.
