Lovely food. Lovely views. Highly recommend for a brew and a sandwich if nearby on a nice day.

We love our walk to the stirrupcup, we can't wait to get there. The cake and other goodies are perfect. The folk who run it are so friendly, it feels like we've known them for years.

Lovely place to stop for coffee and a bite to eat, they have the option for takeaway. The cappuccinos are amazing, we couldnt resist a few takeway cakes for the walk home! All the food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and inviting.

Stopped here for lunch today and had paninis and hot drinks. Food was delicious, staff were so kind and friendly. Lovely views whilst you enjoy your food. The biscoff sponge is highly recommended!

This cafe is a hidden gem with a charming and peaceful outbuilding behind it, where you can enjoy a warm fireplace and a scrumptious cheese cake. The place is festive and cozy, adorned with lovely Christmas decorations. I highly recommend it!

We had a lovely afternoon tea to celebrate my in-laws 80th birthday. Food was delicious and amazing value for money. Will and the staff were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They even sang happy birthday and made the bday boy feel so special. Definitely recommend 👌

Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing, presented beautifully and they even brought us a sample of the freshly made soup which is all home made. I had the large toastie, and my mother had the afternoon tea platter. Do give it a try if you're looking for a nice afternoon lunch.

Very nice little cafe on Wigan Lane, we both had toasties. Cheese, ham and tomato, and a bacon melt. Good, quality thick bread with a good amount of filling. The toastie comes with slaw, salad and crisps, I think they were about £12. Lovely, friendly staff and it got busy very quickly! We didn't book but others had, so I'd recommend booking to avoid disappointment. I'm definitely returning soon!

First time here today. I absolutely love it!!! The girl that served us was brilliant. She warned me not to leave my leather unattended because she wanted it lol. The food was amazing, bacon, brie and caramelised onion pannier, so recommended. Then there's the cakes, oh my lord...awesome. Thanks, we will definitely be back

Really nice, unusual venue; basically a modded shipping container! Nice range of snacks and drinks, friendly service and clearly established as a favourite place for a stop off for local bikers. Absolutely loved it, and also being asked by one of the other motorcyclists to move my bike as the chrome tank was blinding him in the brilliant sunshine! A great place for a break, although all the customers there when I visited were motorcyclists I noticed that there were racks for pedal bikes and provision for dogs too. Oh, and the flapjacks are delicious!

Great place. Good place for bikers with a good atmosphere. Sadly they had run out of bacon but I had a very nice cheese and ham panini and a latte

One of the only decent bike spots for a brew that has not been overcome by idiots. They do some decent toasties, paninis etc. Every time I go here I end up chatting for hours with other bikers, the Gasket is something that brings us together. It's not just for bikers though, I've brought my toddler here and have seen many cyclists, dog walkers, workmen and people from all walks of life.

Lovely little place with entertainment on Sunday afternoon. Owners really nice and staff helpful. Well worth a visit

Quiz night on Wednesdays is fun and the pizza I had was outstanding. Small place but makes for a fun environment. Cosy.

First time up to Wigan (was visiting someone). I liked Wigan, but as a proud Brummie I like the North. Stopped here and was worth it. Nicely hidden and warm Wigan accents greeted us from an excellent server. Decent fresh plentiful food and the entertainment provided by a customer who had one Prosecco too many..😉..forget her though. I would come back here

Popped into this lovely little cafe for the first time while my dog was at the groomers round the corner. I had the Secret Garden Brunch which was absolutely delicious and the staff were so cheerful and friendly. Will definitely return!

I stumbled upon the cafe on a bike ride thought I'd take my Mrs back on the weekend but wasn't a great experience for her 😕 Ordered the soup I had a side order with the salmon fishcakes and my wife had the large bowl, as soups go it was the hotest version I'd encountered (spice wise) my wife couldn't handle it and I only managed it with eyes watering. I made the staff aware of this with no acknowledgement from them as to anything they could do. I would have liked a response from the kitchen maybe being able to cool it down with yogurt or something or a refund for it... instead we got blank faces and left feeling disheartened as every other aspect of the place was spot on 🤷‍♂️

We had breakfast here, a vegan fry up and regular fry up. The bread and homemade baked beans were particularly nice. We both thought the rosti could have had more flavour. Coffee was nice and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely come back. We also took 2 cakes with us which were divine!

I’ve come here a few times and it never disappoints. Came here Saturday afternoon yesterday (five women, a baby, and five dogs) and they made an effort to fit us all in seated inside! Amazing customer service and their chai lattes are great 😊

My wife and I stumbled upon this lovely place to eat purely by chance, we have been twice the last couple of weeks and are hopefully heading back this week, it is not a restaurant but it seems unfair to classify it as a cafe, it has a relaxed homely feel about it with a phenomenal menu, high class interior that is extremely comfy and very pleasing to the eye, my favourite part of this lovely place is the staff, very smiley, very friendly, very helpful absolutely world class service from all the staff especially the gentleman who I assume is the owner, the Latte I tried is by far the best I have ever tasted anywhere, it tasted to me like a hot cross bun topped with cinnamon, also the sausage and egg on toast was a whole meal on its own that filled me up until Dinner time, located next to the stunning canal in a lovely village in Parbold everything is just perfect about Yours Is The Earth. update, we thought we would go for lunch instead of breakfast this time and the lunch menus is fantastic, we had Spinach, sweet potato and butternut squash soup that is absolutely fantastic, also the steak salad sandwich with wedges was perfect, I can safely say this is a fantastic place to eat, with a very classy tasty menus, staff who always display a world class level of service and a beautiful location for a nice stroke down the beautiful canal matter your food.

Tucked away in Jackson’s Court, between the bus station and Hallgate, this little cafe has earned itself a fine reputation for good food at great prices. They also have a decent selection of vegan dishes to choose from too. Not a huge cafe, but located on two floors, so much bigger than it may look from a casual walk by. We called fairly late in the day at 3PM, the cafe closes at 4PM. And I guess it had been a busy shift. The staff lovely and friendly. But left the impression they had more than had enough for one day. We ordered two different vegan burgers, both had some missing bits, listed on the menu, but not in our burger buns... Both still quite tasty. One dish was supposed to come with curry sauce and without it, it was a little flat. Both dishes cost only £7 each, which is stunning value. Even missing some ingredients! Front of house training needs a tiny amount sharpening by the management. The staff a little casual with customers and their requests. But still great food and great value. With a little more attention to details would easily be five stars. But for the above points.

Cosy little cafe with lovely friendly customer service. Best breakfast me and Dad have had since moving to Wigan. Defo will be going back for the lunch menu as its highly recommended. PS. Wild Mint absolutely rocks! My daughter and I have been coming here regularly for years now, and we're always happy with the high quality food and the attentive service that Keri and her hard-working team provide. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, the burgers are top notch and the atmosphere is always happy, relaxed and positive. The Lemon Meringue is my personal fave, it brings a tear to my eye thinking about it! Haha! It's also turned into a vital community hub over the years. There seems to always be something going on, including arts and crafts, wellness sessions, children's activities and social meetings. Long may Wild Mint thrive and continue to serve our wonderful community.

Excellent fish pie on the specials menu (salmon, cod and kind prawn). Generous portions. Lovely decaf latte (nice and mild). Friendly staff. Popular and only one till so there was a bit of a wait and it's a bit noisy but otherwise a great cafe and good value.
