Visited earlier this week and what a treat, apparently its under new management, my breakfast was superb and I really enjoyed my cappuccino, my friends said they enjoyed their food as well, we will definately be returning. The staff were really friendly too

A friend and I popped in on Monday for a post Derby Day breakfast to get rid of the some of the cobwebs from the day before. I mean this as a massive compliment but it was the best greasy spoon breakfast I have had in a long time. Fair price, a big full plate, whilst I am sure you can get more 'arty farty' produce, there is a time and a place for good simple ingredients and that time and place was Monday at the Breakfast Bar. 10/10 would dine again!

Called in for breakfast, 1st time, was more than happy. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food and drink a Big 10/10 food was freshly cooked and piping hot. They even avoided one of my all time pet hates, cutting the toast corner to corner(it drives me insane lol) if you haven't been and are in the area definitely call in. Thank you ladies I will definitely be back.

Great little breakfast place. Warm and welcoming staff with a brilliant menu at a very fair price, especially for the portion sizes. With the added bonus or real fresh Orange Juice! If you're in the area and hungry this is a definite yes

This is definitely a hidden gem in Ashton, and wouldn't look out of place in Manchester City Centre (except not as expensive!) Really good coffee to take away, plus a really great range of beans to buy for home.

Always a warm welcome and even the customers are friendly. The coffee is the best in Manchester. The homemade cakes are delicious but get there early as they can sell out especially if I’ve been in. Ashtons best kept secret.

I visited this coffee shop recently, and I was blown away by the extensive selection of beans available—over 30 types to choose from! Not only that, but they also had a delightful assortment of over 20 fresh loose teas. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making my experience even better. Without a doubt, this coffee shop is the best in the area. Highly recommended!

We love this place. Fresh food made in house every single time. It’s a lovely cafe and the owners are wonderful, kind and friendly people. The food is very reasonably priced. My daughter likes their pancakes better than anywhere else, the adults love the full English breakfast. Would highly recommend you give this small, family business a try. Wow what a lovely clean breakfast, surprised! If you want a horrible greasy spoon this is not for you. The food is great with homemade cakes, pity I couldn’t eat another thing or I would have had cake. The service was definitely with a smile.

Super cute diner/grill/café. Very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Lots of love care and attention has gone into this place. It’s a big hit with and highly recommended by the locals. Popped in here this morning with my friend so glad we did what a friendly atmosphere from Chris the owner i think .the breakfast was fantastic nice hot and fresh i had vegetarian option and friend had the full breakfast cup tea coffee 2 toast each £14.50 amazing. Went to Nonnas stalybridge yesterday. We reserved a table which was good thinking as the place was full. It's quite small but very cosy with a lovely vibe. The staff are very nice and friendly. We had the most delicious coffee and a tasty sharing platter (minus the sun dried tomatoes advertised). We tried a connoloni sweet pastry thingy. Far too sweet and we couldn't finish them. There were regulars in who we engaged with good chatter. It overlooks the canal which is very pretty. Highly recommend this place for a lazy afternoon.

Absolutely loved this place. By far the best coffee we’ve had in the UK since we left Australia for holidays. We had a malteser chocolate cake which was delicious. The staff were warm, welcoming and down for a friendly chat. The interior was modern and inviting with such comfy couches. Will definitely be coming back to this place before we leave Stalybridge

Visited this place today. Google maps took us to the other side if the river so had to detour, was a bit tricky to find but when at the mill it is signposted. The owner was lovely, friendly and chatty. Cafe itself is a little hidden gem! Lovely decor and a great feel to it. Our food was cooked fresh and the flavours were bang on. Wil definitely return and off course recommend to all reading this! You wont be disappointed. Upon hearing about the homemade pies and sausage rolls he makes we was gutted he had none available. That just goes to show how popular they are!!

What a gem of a place! The food is excellent. Really good quality, cooked to perfection and served piping hot. The home made baked beans alone are worth a visit. Plus, the decor and Frank Sinatra soundtrack in the background give this place a great vibe. Definitely worth a visit.

We have just been and had a breakfast also aloud us to bring our dog in. The breakfast was lovely sausages are next level and he even goes to the effort of making home made baked beans and they are yummy. Definitely be back, it's a little gem hidden away.

Small hidden gem, cosy atmosphere. Staff attentive and quick service. We both had burgers, The Smoker & The Texan Show Stopper.....wow. The flavours of both were great, the portion sizes were spot on. Will be back, would reccomend to others.
