I visited Hearts for homes with my mum & daughter today for afternoon tea as a Mother’s Day treat. All I can say is that it was quite possibly the nicest cafe I have ever been in. The food was yummy, the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great🌟 I would definitely return and recommend. The little touches were the best. Even a little gift bag for all the Mum’s too💗

Oh my goodness. Absolutely amazing lunch. First time we've been and I couldn't be happier. We've added this to our list as somewhere to visit regularly. The staff are so friendly, the lads so served us are the sons of the lady who owns it which we met after in their shop after. She was so nice. We had a proper good natter. The food was fantastic! I had a delicious ham, cheese and onion filled croissant 🥐 the best I've had and after a even more delicious homemade caramel shortbread, the best I've had. I highly recommend this place.

Decided to treat myself to afternoon tea for one at Hearts for Homes and I'm so glad that I did! The decor is stunning and was what first drew me in. From the flowers on the walls to the adorable serveware this just felt like a really cosy cafe. Afternoon tea itself was delicious. There was a range of cakes and treats that tasted amazing and it was all so beautifully presented. Service was impeccable too, the staff were so friendly and really polite. They really went above and beyond to try and make everyone's visit a positive one. Would definitely recommend giving this place a visit if you're in the area.

Lovely place, went for lunch. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I loved the atmosphere of the place, I sat in the window seats and it was so nice. I had the Korean Stack which they made vegan for me - it was delicious, I wanted something tasty that wasn’t the same old avo & toast which is normally the standard vegan option - they said as the food is freshly cooked they could just adjust anything on the menu for me - will definitely be going back ❤️

Really lovely little Bistro with very tasty food. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing and staff engaged with the kids. I had the cajun chicken special which was perfect and my son had the 'Bower Burger' which was huge but he devoured in about 2 minutes as he said it was amazing! If you want a relaxing evening with good food and good drinks at a reasonable price, the Bower is recommended.

Every Builder needs a good butty shop local to his job, and this one is really spot on!!. 👷👌 ... I've been to this butty shop several times over the last 10 years as local to summerseat. In the past, it was an okay place if you were stuck, very average, no frills!! After recently hearing that this place had been taken over, I thought i would give the place a go!!! Well, what a transformation and couldn't phrase the new owners & staff enough!!. The place has had a massive transformation with a new ejection life deffenlty brought to the place, can feel the new energy as ya enter.!! Staff are bubbly an full banter 🤩🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳.. They have still kept some of the traditional pies & cakes that this place was known for, but also have brought a new lease life to the menu!! 🥧🥪🍟🌮🥓🥗🍰🎂🥯🍇... Offering a wide selection of hot & cold sandwiches 🥪 and dishes!!. You will spend more time struggling to work out what to have!! Make sure ya check out their daily specials!! deffo not to be missed - tried the pulled pork butty the other day, and it was spot on 🤤🤤🍔🍟.... I would Deffnlty go back and certainly be recommending to fellow tradies 10 /10 from use!!

Just had a good time relaxing from stressful work in this little lovely place. Hospitable and nice people. The sandwich was my own selection and they made it taste perfect. They even offered me to taste a pie and I thank you guys.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the life drawing event with Vanessa ! The Drop Off was the perfect venue !!!! It was so lovely and relaxing and Vanessa's so talented and inspirational! I loved looking at others' drawings and meeting different people. I havn't done life drawing for about 20 years and this brought it all back. Since Saturday , so many of my friends in the local area have said they would love to join in . I know Saturday was expensive and as a one off , it's a treat ! I sincerely hope there can be something a little more regular and accessible in the future . Thank you 💕

I had chosen The Drop Off for my 50th celebrations and they did not disappoint. Both Moira and Bryn looked after me so well and on the evening itself they were on hand to help out, nothing was too much trouble. All my guests commented on ‘the vibe’ and how gorgeous it was. For the buffet, I decided to go for the pies, chips, mushy peas and gravy…..wow it was delicious. If you’re looking a venue with the wow factor The Drop Off is for you. I highly recommend it 😊

Love this place. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Good and drinks are consistently good. Nice cosy atmosphere. Love that it is so dog friendly. And the clientele are always friendly too. Recommended the salt and pepper chicken wrap.

We found this place on a quick google search for a local coffee shop. Very well presented and friendly, hospitable staff, especially considering how busy they were at lunchtime. High chairs available and a WC with changing table, wipes and other baby products (very thoughtful). I ordered a large latte with almond milk and it was delicious! No harsh, bitter or earthy after-taste. We both ordered salt and pepper chicken open pitta and were surprised at the amount of food. It came with alot of salad! The chicken was good, if not a little dry for my taste. With it being salt and pepper, I would have expected a bit of chilli, not just salt and black pepper, but maybe that's just a Chinese takeaway 'thing'. The pittas were soft, warm and tasted fresh. I personally felt a little limited with choices due to not eating pork, tuna or cheese, although I'm sure they could alter to desired taste. They do have signs up saying gluten free and vegan options available, which includes the cakes. I would recommend this place and I would visit again.

Drinc is a great place. Good food & service. Always busy but always seem to get a table. Lovely to sit in the window. Very child & dog friendly. Great coffee & cakes! Also try the Reuben bagel!

Early evening meal with my wife. Finding the way in was fun. It's on the supermarket side. Warmly welcomed on entry, and taken to our table. Fairly neutral decor. We arrived at 6:00pm and the place was half full. Mainly an older crowd, I'm 58 at the time of writing and was on the young side. Couple of big family groups with kids. Service was good, take a photo of the specials board when you come in...saves you walking about. Everything happened at a relaxed pace, we never felt hurried or ignored. The menu is really good. I'm diabetic so avoid carbs, chips, rice etc. So it was a fish starter and a fish main for me. My good lady had black pud starter and cheese pie main. Just lovely food with decent sized portions. Mains seemed to be around the £18+ side. Two courses each and two drinks and a coffee came to £80 Great value It was absolutely rammed to the rafters when we left about 20 past 7. Really pleased to find this place.

We enjoyed a lunchtime meal. Roast pork and chicken breast with all the trimmings and extra sides of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. Plentiful and delicious. Service was prompt, courteous and friendly. We’re already planning our next visit with the family!

You always get a warm welcome at Ground Up, the owner is friendly and approachable and this cafe always has a nice relaxed atmosphere. The coffee is excellent and the cakes are amongst the best in Bury. I've not tried any of the other food but some hot food is available and the toasties and sandwiches look good. They also have a pre-paid items board which you can contribute to for anyone in need of food or a hot drink without the means to pay, which I think it's a fantastic idea. It's a great cafe!

Stumbled upon this place as we were attending a wedding bury. Two days later drive over from Bolton just to eat here again. Mark does his best to go above and beyond helping me to make dietary choices that are yummy and I can eat with being GF

The staff are really friendly and serve excellent coffee. There’s always fresh bakes for your brew. Good food menu but sometimes you have to wait because it is only a small kitchen

Took myself here for a little ‘me’ time and I was so glad I chose this place. Really chilled feel. I sat by the window with a book and had a beautiful cappuccino (really creamy) and fogs and ricotta on toast which was a generous portion and I couldn’t eat it all! A nice little spot to people watch and I can’t wait to try other things on the menu!

We went here yesterday for the first time. What an excellent decision! The manager has everything running like clockwork, including what appeared to be training a new member of staff. We watched the interaction of the waiting staff with other customers whilst we waited for our food. Though they were very busy, they were consistently smiling at customers and he'd excellent interaction with children and a young girl with additional needs, even finding time to fasten her coat. Then came the food. Wow! We had seen lovely looking dishes brought out for other people so were expecting something good. We were certainly not disappointed! If you like spicy food, do try the chicken breast with chorizo. It was delicious! Everything is cooked from scratch as ordered and it shows. We are not local, but will certainly be back next time we are in Bury.

Sunday lunch. Opted for the Chicken Sunday Roast, and it didn't disappoint. Had refill sparkling water to drink. As a family, we've had celebrations here, and the service never wavers.

Lovely friendly welcome. Shown to a table which met our needs. Very quiet as it was a Tuesday morning so not a market day. Large menu with lots to choose from. My husband had the classic full breakfast and I ordered a small breakfast. Drinks were brought, my husband says he will order a pot of tea for two next time though. I had orange juice and a refillable iced water. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented. Good quality and quantity. Good facilities for the disabled with level access and an accessible toilet. We were very impressed and will definitely visit again. Congratulations to the friendly staff and great chef. For us it’s certainly the ‘best breakfast in Bury’!

You just can't fault Barista. Food and service is spot on. We usually come for breakfast but occasionally for lunch. Regardless of how busy it is you are always made to feel welcome. Games are dropped at the table if visiting with kids. Cost of the kids menu is fantastic for what they get Barista is always our go to place for lunch in Bury

An all round enjoyable stay. Great quality fairly priced food. It was a Sunday and we had the Sunday sharer preceded by tasty fishcakes. The cheeseboard was to duie for too. The room was comfy and spacious as was the bathroom. A star off the room as cleaning wasn't done thoroughly. Otherwise the breakfast was very good and ample parking made this a great stay.

We love this place. Been going for the last couple of months and eaten outside with family members a couple of times when the weather permitted - they liked it too. We live in Rossendale and it is our favourite place to have a little run out for a meal. All the staff have been friendly and helpful and the food we have eaten has been lovely. The atmosphere has been extremely pleasant on each occasion. What more can you ask for? We would definitely recommend 😁 x
