Food is really good, delicious and real HK taste. Price is very cheap. It’s very difficult to find such tasty Chinese food in Manchester, highly recommend.

The glutinous rice is surprisingly good! It tastes just like those old style dim sum restaurants in HK!

Probably the best value spot at the ghost kitchens. Everything is cheap and the combos makes things even cheaper. Curry fish balls, tofu jelly, preserved meat glutinous rice are my goto but the other items are also above average. The daily set deal at 6.5 is a steal, satay beef noodles, fried egg/ham, toast and drink.

I ordered the Almond Cake with Rose Buttercream icing and crush pistachios and it was amazing! Everyone at the party was raving about it (even the non vegans and the people who weren’t keen on cake!). We’ve got a few more parties coming up this year and we will absolutely be back!

My husband (!) and I ordered a cake from The Black Cat Bakery in September for our October wedding as a vegan alternative to our very not-vegan Asian wedding cake. Erika was an absolute delight - she set out all the information we needed to know in advance regarding customisable options she was able to offer, and details on picking up. She called the morning of the wedding to make sure we'd been able to pick up everything smoothly, and we were very pleased. Our friends with alternative dietaries were delighted to be catered for, and told us how much they enjoyed it / how tasty it was. The staff at our wedding venue were able to save some for us, and we've popped it in our freezer to eat around our original anniversary in March. Thanks so much!

I recently ordered the 10" round Almond Cake with chocolate icing and crushed pistachios (vegan, nutty, and free from refined cane sugar) from Erika, and I have to say, it’s hands down the best cake I’ve ever tasted! The combination of the rich almond flavour with the smooth chocolate icing was simply perfect, and the crushed pistachios on top added the ideal crunch. It’s hard to believe that something this delicious is vegan and free from refined sugar—it felt indulgent but guilt-free at the same time! Whether you're vegan or not, this cake is an absolute must-try. Highly recommend!

Best breakfast I had in Manchester, and we tried many (including the famous ones). Toast with beans and avocado salmon were incredible, with eggs poached to perfection. To end on a perfect note, we had filtered Costa Rican coffee, what a delight!! Not to be missed, would count the days to come back

I'd gone by this place so many times and could never go in because of how busy it was, so I try going on a weekday and lucky me! I absolutely loved it! The food is delicious, super tasty, well prepared and served quite quickly. Coffees are brilliant as well and there's quite a variety of cakes and sweets to choose from, including a lot of vegan options. Brunch ranges from classics with a twist to very unique dishes. The produce is fresh and very good quality, which you can tell. Definitely worth queuing now that I've had a taste!

This is a small to medium brunch place servers very tasty food. We tried french toast with pistachio ice cream, ricotta pesto sandwich and smashed avocado toast. All tasted amazing, service was quick and the staffs are very friendly.

Devine food and very welcoming staff. The prices are decent and food is absolutely great. From our point of view the place could do with a revamp to make it as good looking as the food served. Anyway, we’ll defo come back here again if we’ll have the chance to.

Had the Big Yin because I was craving some haggis and needed to fuel up for a big day. Every meat was savory and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a more well-rounded meal, you may want to get something else as it did end up being quite a bit of meat. The portion sizes are deceptively big for the price, I wasn't even close to getting through it all! The staff was really attentive despite how busy the place was. Would definitely come back to try that Manc Breakfast next time I'm in town.

This place under promises on the outside and over delivers on the inside. It looks like your average high street cafe, then you step in to a quirky cool place to eat. Service was perfect & food was 5 star, definitely worth the money. I would recommend this place for breakfast we had the Manc Muffins and they are better than a McDonalds one.

Great full English breakfast! Especially the beans, eggs, and mushrooms. Smoked salmon as an extra is also fresh. Sausages and bacon are a little bit too oily for me so I didn’t finish. Potatoes are a bit hard to bite. Cartado to me is too sour (just personal taste). The staff are kind and warm. However I waited for 20 minutes after ordering and I was very hungry. But the taste worth it! Next time I may try a pancake. What’s more, is there any one know what the black stuff on the fork is? It seems like toast but has a taste of meat. Really appreciate!

So good we came here 2 days in a row! I found this location through google due to the high star rating and the super picture perfect food. But its not style over substance. It tastes as good as it looks! The first morning i had apple cinnamon French toast and my husband had chocolate chip pancakes. I had pancake envy and wanted to try the pancakes so the second morning just before our drive home i had the berry pancakes and my husband had the oreo french toast. Both sets of food were exceptional! The service was brilliant and a lovely lady even remembered us discussing where we were going the day before. We wouldnt hesitate to visit again! Highly recommend a trip if your in Manchester!

Stopped by Cafe 19 for breakfast, and it was a fantastic experience! I had the pancakes, which were perfectly fluffy and delicious, while my wife enjoyed the French toast that was just as amazing—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Both dishes were generously portioned and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, making for a really enjoyable morning. Highly recommend if you're looking for a tasty breakfast spot!

We regularly come for a weekend breakfast or brunch and wouldn’t go anywhere else. As other reviews have said, the food is amazing and the portions are very generous. Whether you are after something sweet or savoury, there is a great choice and some brilliant specials. The service is also excellent and a special mention must go to Taylor, who is a real star. It is definitely worth the wait if there is a queue outside (and they will lend you an umbrella to keep you dry)!

What a shock this place is on an industrial estate in wythenshawe ! The staff, cleanliness and food is first class! Go take a look! big industrial unit, very modern funish8ngs and also a community shop with great deals! We were shocked and going back this week, and our favourite place to eat and the food prices and drinks are unbeatable for the price! it's worth a trip 💫 ps also fantastic to find a place that isn't worried about this being a christian founded operation built on Christian values, helping people get back on course, brilliant in times where we find the faith of our country attacked daily even by the leader of the Christian church in the uk.

One of the favourite places in the local area. Staff is super welcoming, friendly, always in a good mood, food is served beautifully, menu is great too. Prices are very reasonable. We come there sometimes only for a coffee which is greatly made, otherwise we come for our regular dishes (full breakfast and smashed avocado sourdough) and every single time we leave happy. Big thumbs up to the staff and purpose of this cafe. Fully support.

Worked a project next door and visited the cafe for a hot drink and relax after I’d finished filming. The volunteers behind the counter were friendly and welcoming, engaging and the Hot Chocolate I had was 10/10. Highly recommended!

Beautiful atmosphere. Amazing food. We had a Ceaser Salad and the Egg Benedict with Smoked Salmon on Sourdough. People are friendly. Highly recommend this place. Chicken is halal.

Food and drinks are spot on! Salmon comes in generous portions as well as the soup. They’re both flavourful Also they make the best smoothie and milkshakes! Will definitely go back for different menu Service is okay but atmosphere can be loud during peak times

Superior experience. We came for a soft brunch around 11am since we had some small bagels earlier in the morning. First we were waiting around 10 mins while being seated. Order was instant. We followed advice from waitress and got pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Fantastic combination. Flat white and English breakfast tea is a must have option. Restaurant has temperament atmosphere; staff is friendly; served food looks excellent every way I was looking at; and important thing premises are clean. For me nice place for tasty morning breakfast or late morning brunch.

The design is perfect, the concept is perfect the presentation is perfect. Despite the fact that they’re busy especially on a Sunday, the waiting time for your food is short. The coffee is good (most coffees in Manchester tastes stronger compared to London but this place was good!) I’d say this place is a must visit if in Manchester!

What a nice place to come, have breakfast and relax. This is my first time here and it was a nice ambiance. The food and coffee were amazing. We had the pleasure of having Kate and Laura assist us. They were very attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in to Manchester.

It was my first time visiting and it definitely will not be my last! Me & my partner were seated quickly with a warm welcome and explained the menu and how to order. The bloody Mary’s were to die for, possibly the best I’ve ever had! The food was fresh and delicious and always served with a smile, worth every penny!

Went for brunch today at Ezra & Gil (Helper and Happiness) Hilton Street Manchester. Our server was Kate, she was very helpful and let us change scrambled eggs for poached on 1 of the brunch orders. We asked for the drinks to come with the food so you don't get the drinks first, and then have to order more she was very concerned if we had any allergies, which was excellent. We ordered French toast which was amazing, and 2 breakfasts, the scrambled eggs were the best my wife has ever had and my poached eggs were nice and runny, the food came quickly and was very well cooked and hot Dog friendly always a bonus, lots of high chairs were also available for young families, great mix of customers, both old and young, you can also buy their products , coffee beans and bread, takeaway also available, recommend checking this establishment out, you can also get alcohol .

Lovely little cafe. We liked the surroundings and style of the cafe. We really enjoyed the sausage and bacon sandwiches. Served in lovely warm soft bread. The cappuccinos were decent too but just wish they were served in larger cups. A bit like the mug size my daughter had for her tea and that would have been ideal 😁 Definitely recommend.

Serendipity played its part. Albrecht was taking us to Nomad for coffee but access was denied as yet another crew was filming in the Northern Quarter. Doubled back to Idle Hands. Had a lovely couple of coffees and cakes. All good.They sell a good breakfast selection for carnivores, veggies and vegans. ( Assuming vegans will share the meat eating space!) Good find Albrecht.

We were looking for a nice brunch place and we came to Idle Hands. Both the food and the coffee were some of the best we have had for quite some time. The Turkish eggs and the Meaty hash brown were amazing and a new take on some classic dishes. We tried the Banana cake and the pistachio honey cake and both were of high quality. The service and the atmosphere were spot on and the prices very understanding for the service and food offered. We will certainly make this our regular place for coffee and brunch.

Delicious breakfast here - Turkish eggs (with lovely focaccia) and a veggie fry up with amazing home made hash browns! Enjoyed the coffee too. All round, top marks and glad I stumbled upon this place!

Visited Ancoats Coffee for the first time this month, and let me tell you, I am not disappointed. The staff is very polite, professional, and welcoming. It's a very cosy place and love the seats, by the way, good music and a good selection of items in their menu. Truly recommended it if you want to go for good and simple breakfasts or during the day for a snack or a regular drink.

This is one of the coziest coffee shops in Manchester. Located in an old converted cotton mill, the place has a nice bit of history to it while serving really great coffee in Ancoats. It’s also where they roast the beans. The Manchester coffee scene is thriving and Ancoats Coffee Co is one of the best ones out there.

Oh how grateful I am that my friend introduced me to this gem of a café! Not completely hidden, nor too noticeable, it is a perfect place to get your work done or relax with a friend. For this visit, I opted for a masala chai with milk. The service is efficient and your items of choice are brought to your table. Staff are kind and accommodating to your every need. I enjoyed the atmosphere and will definitely be visiting more often, perhaps to also try some of their baked goods !
