One of the best cafes going been going there for a good 10 years plus . Great quality of food and a variety of items on the menu from hot foods to cold and sweet treats and the customer service is brilliant, always a friendly welcome

My first visit to this lovely café today and it didn't disappoint. I got the salt and pepper box & a slice of old school cake & both were absolutely outstanding. Staff were so friendly & welcoming too. 5*****

Lovely place, decor is really nice and the food was delicious. The hot chocolate was one of the best I’ve ever had. My friend and I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and waffles with berries to share, both were delicious. They sell fresh cakes and chocolate so I will be back to buy some! It’s also dog friendly.

Me, my sister and my nephew thoroughly enjoyed our visit on Thursday afternoon. The cafe is decorated beautifully and the food was delicious. The staff were so good with Harry and even showed him how their homemade chocolate is made - he was absolutely made up! We definitely recommend this fabulous family business. The hot chocolate was ‘10/10’ as my nephew said. Special shout-out to Nic and Ella for their amazing customer service and making us feel so welcome. Will definitely be returning x Harry’s Aunties x

What a lovely gem of a place to find on a rainy day! The assortment of chocolate goodness was amazing! I opted for a hot chocolate with all the trimmings and was absolutely delighted to find a gorgeous marshmallow and a pot of cream to dollop on at my leisure. All hot drinks were accompanied with a small chocolate which was another unexpected treat! The staff were really helpful and it was great to know that they had Gluten Free options for the sandwiches! Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Called in for a coffee mid week. It was quiet, but given the weather, it was an understandable.lovely clean shop, seating over two floors.Staff were frendly and the range of chocolate available was awesome.Coffee was really nice and the place had a really good vibe.

I visited Hearts for homes with my mum & daughter today for afternoon tea as a Mother’s Day treat. All I can say is that it was quite possibly the nicest cafe I have ever been in. The food was yummy, the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great🌟 I would definitely return and recommend. The little touches were the best. Even a little gift bag for all the Mum’s too💗

Oh my goodness. Absolutely amazing lunch. First time we've been and I couldn't be happier. We've added this to our list as somewhere to visit regularly. The staff are so friendly, the lads so served us are the sons of the lady who owns it which we met after in their shop after. She was so nice. We had a proper good natter. The food was fantastic! I had a delicious ham, cheese and onion filled croissant 🥐 the best I've had and after a even more delicious homemade caramel shortbread, the best I've had. I highly recommend this place.

Decided to treat myself to afternoon tea for one at Hearts for Homes and I'm so glad that I did! The decor is stunning and was what first drew me in. From the flowers on the walls to the adorable serveware this just felt like a really cosy cafe. Afternoon tea itself was delicious. There was a range of cakes and treats that tasted amazing and it was all so beautifully presented. Service was impeccable too, the staff were so friendly and really polite. They really went above and beyond to try and make everyone's visit a positive one. Would definitely recommend giving this place a visit if you're in the area.

We are happy to try the rice noodles in Sai Kwan Style, it’s so delicious. Other Hong Kong traditions food are good too, looking forward to the new menu.

The restaurant is small, can seat around 16ish people, clean and tidy. Owner is a one man band so if it gets busy expect to wait, at least that's what the notice says. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Most things on the menu are homemade including the sauces, chilli oil and XO sauce are very good and you can actually buy to take home. We tried rice noodles sai kwan style, small portion that contained some vegetable and pork lard, tasted ok. BBQ pork rice, which is actually a deep fried pork belly rice, tasted pretty good, highlight was the scallion oil and soy sauce. Siu mai with XO sauce and rice rolls xo sauce, both ok, the XO sauce being the star. Cheesy rice pops not my style. Lemon tea was good horlicks a bit weak. Generally OK, owner friendly, I don't have anything bad to say but I feel they are missing a signature dish that makes me crave a prompt return. Will return to try other dishes

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the “HANDMADE RICE NOODLES IN SAI KWAN STYLE” & “HOUSE-MADE BLACK CHA SIU”.

Really lovely little Bistro with very tasty food. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing and staff engaged with the kids. I had the cajun chicken special which was perfect and my son had the 'Bower Burger' which was huge but he devoured in about 2 minutes as he said it was amazing! If you want a relaxing evening with good food and good drinks at a reasonable price, the Bower is recommended.

I have just go into leaving reviews for businesses I enjoy and The Lampost is somewhere I have visited regularly since my family moved to Bury. The food is good but the main star of the show are the WOOFINS! Dog muffins which our dog Woody goes mad for - literally pulling us towards the cafe to make sure we don't go to the park without getting him one. A lovely little place in a lovely park and I am sure it will be great at Christmas!!

Delicious breakfast at this lovely place. Very friendly and good local quality products to eat. Recommend it and great if you are staying at the Caravan park next door.

Visited on a wet miserable day, but, having an amazing Manchester bee hot chocolate in a friendly warm environment made it perfect. Reasonably priced as well. Staff very friendly.

We've vistited Racconto Lounge on a number of occasions, always found the staff very helpful and welcoming we've been greeted seated promptly. Love the quirkness of this place all the pictures and mirrors on the walls, they have a selection of games and toys to amuse children. Large menu with something for everyone never had a problem with anything we've ordered. Toilets are clean and tidy, sinks have running hot water and the drier actually dries your hands.

This is my go-to when in Bury. Love the decor! Great menu and coffee! They do sell a variety of alcohol but I have only visited for breakfast and lunch, so I never tried it.

Nice place to stop on a bike ride for a brew and flapjack. Lovely staff that weren't upset about us being muddy and using the outside seating!

A lovely little tea room at the end of the Kirklees Trail. They have a great selection of hot and cold food and a cabinet full of delicious looking cakes and other desserts. We both went for the specials that were available on the day and were not disappointed. The corned beef hash was excellent as were the poached eggs - the first runny poached egg I've found from cafes in the Bury area! 👏 Will definitely return and highly recommend for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Called in for a midweek treat at one of our favourite cafés in Bury, always a real delight, staff are so good, nothing too much trouble, food as always, delicious ,freshly prepared piping hot with excellent portion size. The menu gives you plenty of choice with something for everyone. There is always a relaxing atmosphere in a great ,comfortable surroundings. This little gem is tucked away slightly off the mainstream shopping area but its easy to find and well worth a visit.

We’ve eaten here a couple of times now, the cafe is always clean, the staff polite and the decor is very quirky. The quality of the food and drink has always been lovely. The last time we ate here I was overcharge £10.95, we’d been charged for an extra breakfast. When I addressed this, the staff were polite, they took my card from me to process a refund but the money never went back in my account. Linzie from the team contacted me about this. She confirmed a refund had been processed but that they had been experiencing issues with their broadband, due to issues on the street so the refund had failed so she returned the money to me via BACs. Thank you Linzie. It’s lovely to see a team that care, we see less and less of that on the high street these days.

Quirky decor, great cakes, nice fresh homemade meals (not a lot of that in Bury now with all the chains and franchises, non-UPF food is a rarity!) The kitchen is upstairs so meals are brought down to the seating area and it's amazing what they can do in a little Victorian building with a tiny shop front. Service is always exceptional, friendly, cheerful and efficient. Good selection of teas. It only loses one start because it's not the best coffee for my taste as I prefer it smaller and stronger, but this is a personal preference - it's a great cafe for hot meals and tea and cake. The homemade chilli is always good. The novelty of the decor and ornaments related to number ten downing street always gives you something to look at and talk about.

A very very nice stop for some good quality food and great service with a smile and some good conversation. Food is top quality and atmosphere is great! Dog friendly too!!
