I'm guilty of not putting this review up nearly soon enough as this has been the location of choice for me, family, friends and basically anyone who we bump in to in the local area looking for a recommendation for a place to get first class coffee and food to match. The team are great and nothing is too much trouble. There is a really friendly and familiar atmosphere and this just gets better and better the more you visit. You'll quickly become familiar with regular faces and after tasting the food and drink you will understand what keeps them coming back. Seasonal specials come up throughout the year and I'd encourage anyone visiting to give them a try, then come back and try the others until you've done them all :) Coolers in the summer are a great refresher and the various hot chocolates in the winter help keep the chill at bay. Drop in and you won't regret it :)

I had seen the street sandwich board but then someone recently recommended it so i had a chance to pop in for a coffee and was very pleasantly surprised. You walk off a narrow street and road of terrace houses into a cafe fit for the city centre! The theme seems to be wood, cosy, homely but not a dated look. Apparently it's usually busy but, perfectly for me, i had the place to myself.. peace! I only had coffees and took a selection of home homemade cakes back to work. There was a menu with a large selection of sandwiches etc and the lady was taking telephone orders for parties too. Clean quiet friendly. The radio was playing in the background but not too distracting. If it's a quiet day' I'll be back!'

Kegs was recommended to me as a place to order a buffet for my 60th birthday party. The food was gorgeous and plentiful, all my guest commented on how nice it was and several people asked where I got it. I ordered the menu 2 option that was £6 a head and excellent value for money. Lovely place, great food, reasonable prices and the staff are fantastic. Two meals and two drinks typically come to around £16 and it's a lot nicer and friendlier than any overpriced chain cafe. It has very quickly become a regular weekend stop for us.

An absolutely super brunch. Lots of homemade dishes to choose. Catherine is an excellent cook. The girls serving were also brilliant even though it took us ages to decide they were very patient. We didn’t want to leave as the place is super cosy but obviously other people also know this place so we couldn’t stay all day. We will definitely be back 😍

Called in today with some friends to show them our very individual coffee bar and they enjoyed it. They did comment that although it’s a great place for people with dogs there didn’t seem to be anywhere dog free for people who are nervous around dogs. By the way what a great success Phil has made of the Barista adding greatly to the local area’s attraction

Visited here randomly when I was passing by. This is a beautiful small cafe with a great selection of breakfasts and lunches. Both small and large breakfasts. I had eggs on sourdough toast which was delicious. The prices were good for a small cafe. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome

Visited on the 15th Dec 2021. Friendly Staff, Nice atmosphere and Jazzy relaxing music. Enjoyed their Festive buttered crumpets and Pumpkin Spice latte. They got it just right; plenty of coffee taste and not too much syrup. Just what I needed to keep me company and stay warm while waiting for a friend.

Ate a Suburb Today for the first time after hearing good things from my Fiancee and our daughter. First bit of advice would be book in advance the restaurant is quite small and compact. I had the Suburb Breakfast, My Daughter had the same and my Fiancee had Smoked Salmon with Scrambled eggs and asparagus with 2 Latte's and a Flat White Coffee. Service was OK, Restaurant was clean, Food was amazing to be honest one of if not the best Breakfasts I has ever eaten. Prices are quite expensive but the food quality and ingredients were Top draw so no issue at all. Total Bill £52. 5☆

I love Healey Dell Tea Rooms sooooo much. Been many times and staff are always so friendly, food is excellent and the venue beautifully unique (I love it so much that I actually had my afternoon hen do celebration here back in 2018 🥰) Today I had the amaretto coffee cake which was absolutely amaaaaazing 👌👌👌 Honestly one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. And I eat a decent amount of cakes… I also had a chrysanthemum flowering tea which was really delightful. Fragrant and delicious. Watching the flower unfurl in the clear tea pot was lovely too. 10 out of 10 every time. A must visit 🫶✨
