No exaggeration - this cafe must surely be amongst the top shops in Lancashire. It oozes with style, friendly and accommodating staff. The ☕️ was delicious and the granola bar has set me up for today’s walk. Must catch an earlier 🚂 next visit to have breakfast.

This is a really beautiful little cafe. They have a nice, well thought out menu. Definitely a step up over your usual cafe breakfast menu. The food me and my family enjoyed was delicious and the service was really good too. All the staff were very friendly and happy to make us feel at home. Definitely a top choice if you're looking for a place to eat in this area.

Driven past a few times and thought I'd try the breakfast. Nice food, nice staff, pleasant atmosphere and was reasonably busy on a Thursday without being toomany people. Food was hot and looked as good as it tasted. Plenty of teas to choose from, I opted for Breakfast tea, nice and refreshing. Service was quick and didn't wait long. Would highly recommend if you're passing through or local.

This is my local caff so really pleased to have it on the doorstep. The staff are ace and so friendly with a great big hello 👋 when you walk in. The food and drink are a bit on the pricey side but worth it it terms of taste and volume. Take this gluten free New Yorker ciabatta sandwich — £8.95 — it’s a generous portion and delicious. It’s really hard to find good gluten free sandwiches so when I do I tend to keep coming back. Thanks Sophie and Nicola ❤️😎 30 Jan 2025 New Owner Update The new owners are ace. Best choice if you’re looking for quality coffee in a beautiful environment. All staff are extremely friendly and love what they are doing. The owner is super welcoming and has put his personal touch on this place making it even more special. Great place if you’re solo or with friends!

🐢 Great addition to Withington cafes! Warm and friendly atmosphere every time we’ve visited. ☕️Owner Theo is lovely and has sourced the best coffee (Kobean and Swan Song) and served in beautiful handmade ceramic mugs make your brew feel extra special. 🥐They also serve the best pastries from independent suppliers across Manchester (the Almond pain au chocolate from La Choquette was incredible 🤤) and the sandwiches using local seasonal veg were delicious. Thoroughly recommend!

Lovely little coffee shop. It's fantastic to find a place that opens at 8am, especially since I'm vegan and most places I frequent open later. They offer a delightful range of vegan and veggie cakes. Today, I enjoyed a Chai Latte with oat milk—it's the best I've had, thanks to their strong chai spice blend that delivers a robust flavor. We also had an espresso, which was very fruity and a great coffee. We tried a vegan chocolate mini cake with espresso cream. It was delicious, not too sweet, and the frosting was light. The low music creates a calm environment in the morning, perfect for having conversations at a normal level and truly appreciating your drink and food. Thank you! This will definitely become our new go-to spot.

We recently had a lovely afternoon tea with around 40 friends celebrating a bride to be. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything was set up beautifully and the atmosphere was just right. They are able to cater for most dietary needs very well. Me and my friend asked for glutenfree and dairyfree in advance. Our 3 tier stand had scone & jam, cakes and jelly, with sandwiches, crisps, salad and coleslaw on the bottom. The sandwiches were lovely, the meringue and chocolate delicious and filling. It was so nice to not feel left out when everyone else is eating delicious things. Everyone was offered boxes to take leftovers home.They served pots of tea and cafetiere coffee, decaf available, it came with tiny ice cream cones for those able to have wheat, (we had gf/df biscuits which were a bit of a let down). There's parking on the front for a few cars but it's limited in the local area, so lifts were organised. Recommended.

I came here with friends for afternoon tea. Absolutely delicious sandwiches! I had bacon, brie and cranberry sandwiches, coffee and a dinosaur biscuit. Excellent service in a cosy, welcoming environment.

Lovely food. Here with family for a significant birthday so a big mix of ages. The afternoon tea for little kids was lovely as they still provides little plastic teapots with cold water. The kids were still able to 'take part'. Our afternoon teas were jubilee themed with biscuits in the shape of the Queen's head, coronation chicken sandwiches (yum), blueberry and fruit scones and their own take on the jubilee trifle. Even before the afternoon tea, we were served with an amuse bouche of Eton mess ice cream - which was a lovely touch. A small break and then a delightfully smooth broccoli and stilton soup before the afternoon tea itself. Yummy! All nice and clean with lovely friendly staff. Heartily recommended to others.

I found this cafe while waiting to collect a car I bought from a dealership, so I was sitting in the cafe from 7am to 9:15am. The hot chocolate was gorgeous! I was going to order an omelette around 8am, but the place started getting a bit busy, so I held off. At 8:20am, I ordered a 4-egg omelette with cheese and left around £12 in change as a tip to thank them for letting me stay while waiting for the dealership to open at 9am. I was grateful to have found this cafe, as I also got some work done on my laptop. People were coming and going, and the staff even sat down for a chat, and I started wondering if they’d forgotten about me. At 8:55am, I asked if my order had been forgotten, and the girl apologized and realized she had indeed forgotten. The dealership was only a 5-minute walk away, but I was almost ready to leave without the food and the fact i paid £20 for a hot chocolate 😂. I eventually received the omelette, and they even returned the tip I’d left. The omelette was really nice, and the hot chocolate was devine. I can’t fault the food, even though I was forgotten and i am sure it was only a 2 egg ommlette instead of 4. I just needed to leave as i was late for collecting the car. Hence, I can’t give 5 stars for the service.

I ordered a Biscoff pancake (£9) to go, because the place was packed on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were lovely. The pancakes were so fluffy and yummy. They gave me a separate biscoff, cream and banana on the side as I ordered take out. It was packed very well. 10 out of 10 would recommend you to try if you're in Manchester and looking for a nice dessert.

The souffle is really good, light and fluffy, not too sweet which is a plus for me. Drink is ok. Staff are very nice and friendly. The seating area is a bit small and not many seats. So if you visit on a busy day, you might need to wait for a while.

First time here, pancakes were delicious, I had the creme brulee one, loved it. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was ok, but nothing special. The only thing I didn't like we had to wait around 30 min for the pancakes. . Maybe because it was Saturday Lunchtime. I'll definitely visit again.

If you're a pancake lover, don't miss Fluffy Fluffy! I tried the Crème Brûlée Pancake and the Pistachio Soufflé, and both were absolutely delicious. The café has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, making it a great spot to unwind. Plus, its location in the city center is super convenient. Highly recommend!☺️

First time as just started working in Adlington. Portions are good sized and freshly made as well as being reasonably priced. I had a cheese sandwich with a side order of double-cooked chunky chips and a pot of tea for under £10. Enjoyed itand would definitely go again.

This is such a fantastic place, the quality of the food and price is really well worth travelling for. We live about 35 minutes away and have no issues making that journey to eat in a really nice, clean, and well run cafe. The food is superb no matter what you choose. The coffee also really good. Love this place.

So many cafes to choose from but so glad we chose this one! Vibes are great, nice music, cool aesthetic. Waiter was lovely and attentive. Coffee was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while (I drink a lot of coffee) and food was immaculate. Will be coming back next time I’m in Manchester!

Lovely little spot for brunch. We were sat outside but had the heater just above us so was warm and cosy. Blankets were also provided if you didn’t have a heater above you. Food was great and we indulged in a hangover cure by way of a Bloody Maria (highly recommend)

Little bit annoying that we had to queue behind (several) people that were trying to walk-in, despite us having a booking. However, once we were sat down all was very much well. The coffee is incredible (in a 'okay, THIS is coffee' sort of way), the seasonal Danish pastry (mince pie this time) was really good and the Turkish eggs and huevos rancheros were great. Prices are very fair for the quality and the service great once seated.

Food was amazing. Service staff was great. We were seated out in the arcade area which was quite cold and the food got cold quickly as we were eating. If you’re planning a trip, get a reservation inside or go when it’s warm. Otherwise, highly recommend.

Superior experience. We came for a soft brunch around 11am since we had some small bagels earlier in the morning. First we were waiting around 10 mins while being seated. Order was instant. We followed advice from waitress and got pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Fantastic combination. Flat white and English breakfast tea is a must have option. Restaurant has temperament atmosphere; staff is friendly; served food looks excellent every way I was looking at; and important thing premises are clean. For me nice place for tasty morning breakfast or late morning brunch.
