We contacted Peter as we knew his delightful wife Hannah from moving to a new house and needing some new lights. We were lucky to have a beautiful view from the quite small back garden over an open quarry. We'd decided to put in a glass fence to make the most of the view, but really needed help with what to do with the garden, that was small, flat and very boring. Peter was just so helpful in arranging to come and see us at a suitable time, and talking to us about how we planned to use the garden and how it would fit into our lifestyle. He really wanted to get to know us to make sure the garden would suit our taste and be a usable space the whole year round. His plan really impressed us from the start. He managed to zone the garden into different areas that all tied together, and yet managed to make the garden appear much larger than we thought it ever could. We wanted an easy to maintain and tranquil Japanese theme, with different hard surfaces and planted areas along with some moving water. Peter came up with a multi-level design that almost works like separate outdoor rooms. We wanted an outdoor seating area with some heating that we could in all weathers, and so Peter had several discussions with our son Henry who is an architect student. They jointly came up with an amazing pavilion, complete with gas-fired fire pit that works wonderfully, keeping us warm and dry outside whatever the weather. We also have a large decking area for eating, a barbeque area and even a small deck with a bistro table and 2 chairs - the perfect spot for an evening G&T admiring the views. Peter was also very keen for us to consider the lighting scheme very carefully, and his suggestions and designs for the outdoor lighting make the garden a magical place when the sun goes down. We also have 2 amazing water features that help to give the perfect feeling of calm and tranquility we were looking for. I would thoroughly recommend speaking to Peter if you are looking for someone who is very passionate about his craft, and will go the extra mile to give you the perfect results you are looking for. We are already looking forward to seeing what designs he might come up with for the front garden!!

Peter Cowell’s landscape company is a professional and talented team. From the start Peter worked closely with myself designing my garden to my requirements. The results are excellent and we get so many passers by stopping and complimenting the design, even 4 years later. It really is a talking point. We could not be happier. Would highly recommend.

Peter was great and 'got' what we wanted right straight away, so much so that his initial designs were immediately accepted and there were hardly any changes throughout the construction phases. Very responsive to questions and very helpful throughout. Peter is very knowledgeable on all aspects of garden landscaping, from tiling, water features, paving and wall construction through to plant, tree and bush selection and planting. Would I use Peter again? Yep!

It’s hard to articulate just how much our family has benefitted from having our garden designed and landscaped by Peter! He listened to our hopes to have a welcoming family-friendly space that we could entertain guests and truly created the garden of our dreams. Couldn’t have asked for a better service- the craftsmanship and attention to detail was just impeccable. We absolutely adore the garden now and have had so many compliments from others too- would 100% recommend.

Absolutely amazing service.. Tom and his team worked so hard for 2 days cutting down a massive pine tree in my garden, it the worst conditions imaginable!! They worked right through on the second day in order to get the job finished, my garden nice and tidy again.. they made sure my neighbours garden was free from debris as well… and even fixed my other elderly neighbours windscreen wipers on his car in the morning when they arrived… the team were friendly, approachable and extremely professional… i would highly recommend them 👍😊

Excellent company to deal with. I liaised with Tom via email whilst I was overseas about some possible work to be done to a tree in my mums garden. Tom was absolutely lovely, he came out and gave me an honest opinion on the tree. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I can’t recommend these Garden Geniuses enough. From the start, Tom was polite, informative and professional. He took the effort to come and check the job (tree felling) out on my premises and gave me a professional quotation which, I have to say, was by far the best. It was less than 10% of one guy! But the low price certainly did not mean low quality. His team arrived on time and cut down my tree with no bother whatsoever AND they cleaned up nicely after themselves. Any garden tree or hedge work you need doing in the NW - these are your guys.

Martin did an amazing job of digging up massive bamboo roots in our garden - no small feat! He turned up on time as arranged and made it look easy (though he assured me it wasn't!) We're so pleased with the result and couldn't recommend him more :). Saved us hours of back breaking work and charged a very reasonable price.

I recommend Martin as a gardner and in fact couldn’t recommend him more. He has done more than just take care of this garden he’s breathed life into it that wasn’t there when we first moved in. He clearly takes pride in his work and the quality of the result shows this.

Yesterday Kevin and Neil completed a small garden project for us. From consultation through to completion their work was exemplary on every level. Careful planning advice was given and the plan was executed meticulously. They always kept us informed and always arrived at the proposed time. Between them they have transformed a weed ridden, uneven and impractical space into a safer, more attractive and versatile area. I cannot recommend them enough. Excellent service from start to finish. Kevin was helpful during the consultation, quick to respond to messages and kept us updated throughout the project. This involved removal of a skip load of gravel, removal of existing lawn and turfing a new one with difficult access via stairs to a raised garden. He worked hard with his colleague to get the job done to a high standard despite battling against constant downpours! I recently used Kevin and Neil to tackle a problem I had in my back garden. The garden was flooding after heavy rain, and was causing me a fair bit of stress. I rang Kevin and he was very helpful. He had all the time in the world for me and suggested putting in a drain and raising the level of the garden. I have to admit l was very impressed with Kevin. He was very professional, friendly and helpful and even suggested work l could do myself. I decided to go with Kevin and Neil, and was glad l did. They turned up on time, worked extremely hard, and kept me updated regularly. I would definitely recommend using Kevin and Neil and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Great couple of guys giving sound advice and delivering what they had promised in a nice tidy fashion. Both Kevin & Neil are strongly recommended as garden landscapers, you may need to wait a while for their service, but it will be damn well worth it!

Absolutely fabulous work! My garden is so much neater and well, is actually a garden! Great value and Craig is very hard worker and very polite too. Steven has visited every week for 2 months. My lawn had been neglected by a previous gardener and is now back to a lush green healthy lawn. Steven is very friendly and hard working. He never stops from arriving to leaving and does a great job. He does routine maintenance and anything else I may need ie moving heavy plant tubs. Planting young trees and put up a temporary fence. I'm a very happy customer.

What a nice chap. I Have problems doing my hedges and other parts of my garden due to a back injury. Steven came round and gave me a very fair quote. He managed to see to my pride and joy the following week, and with minimal input from myself he managed to do everything I asked of him and my garden is back to looking it's best.
