Phil has now made several visits to our much loved but getting rather overgrown garden.!! We are no longer able to do any heavy work and Phil understands this and is happy to discuss what we want and work along with us. He is friendly,knowledgeable ,experienced and hard working.The garden is looking lovely today after its autumn cutting , mowing and tidying .Thankyou Phil !

I had a really overgrown garden (massive understatement) and Phil came and sorted it out brilliantly. He was very communicative and let me know when her would be coming in advance, Thanks Phil it is very much appreciated.

We asked Phil to come to help us to tidy up the garden in our new house ready for autumn. When we first contacted, he came with short notice to take a look at the garden and advise us on what to do and had some useful advice about some of the weeds that we had, as well as general lawn care advice - and not long after came to sort the place out! Can’t fault his work, he cut back some very overgrown hedges and shrubs and cleared all of the cuttings and debris from our garden quickly and efficiently. To top it off he is extremely friendly and a pleasure to have in our garden - if you’re thinking about asking someone to help to sort your garden out don’t hesitate to contact him! We would absolutely recommend him and will definitely be in contact again when we need anything else doing.

Our large garden was in need of sorting out and Phil did a great job getting it back into shape and keeping on top of it afterwards. He’s a really nice guy and enjoyable company. He knows his stuff, is well equipped and we can thoroughly recommend.

New Year new challenge i need a driveway but first i need to clear weeds and grass from the area soon to be a driveway for my daughter . Enter Chris with his trusty digger and pruner now i no that dosn't sound much but trust me when i say can he work , i was looking at hiring a mini digger and that would have cost me £250 for the day with fuel . the area was 30 square meter and too big for me to do so along came Chris and yes sorted this out and saved me the money to get the gravel for the drive Result .!!!!! Well to say my garden was out of sorts is an understatement Chris ask a couple of questions of how i wanted my garden to be when he left . We agreed that it would take more than one visit to get to the level that i could manage it myself and on that understanding i booked him . i can honestly say that when it was the day to start Chris came on time did a great professional job and tidy . Impressed at the level of knowledge and expertise these guys have. And truly appreciate the quality of work done to bring our garden into order, and advise given for follow up, after a combination of weather and busy schedules left it unattended all year. Brilliant. Don’t look any further. We found Alistair early last year and we cannot thank him enough for his hard work and, more importantly, his advice. The work we initially required was just to take on some of the difficult manual labour required to stay on top of our medium/large garden. We didn’t think it would be anything more than a one time deal. However, after seeing the benefits, we changed our minds. We’ve had Salford Gardening come to help now five or six times over the past 18 months, doing everything from weeding and general upkeep through to mulching and cutting back tree branches where necessary. Alistair’s worked in all weathers - mild May sunshine, extreme heat in 2022 summer, cold rain in October, frost again in late winter/early spring and never once has he complained about the conditions. My only reluctancy in writing a review like this is you’ll be more organised and take his time before I can book in again in the future 😂 Alister’s always offered great advice and gone above and beyond to share tips. The garden looks better for having Alistair come round and I look forward to seeing how he is able to help us improve upon what we are lucky to have in our garden.

Alistair and Sebastian got my mum’s garden maintenance ready and have been looking after it since summer, she’s delighted. I asked Alistair if he’d help me remove astroturf and plant trees in my new house. He was upfront with costs and I think he is very competitive. Not only did he complete the job, but his ideas and advice were greatly appreciated. He told me the names of most of my plants even though little to go off. Loved bouncing ideas backwards and forwards. I’ve now got a clear idea what is achievable over the next few months. Alistair I thank you very very much.

Alistair did a fantastic job tidying up my back garden, cutting the hedge and cutting back overgrown trees, ivy and bramble. Looks brilliant when finished. Everything tidied up, great communication throughout. Will definitely use Alistair again. He is also very knowledgeable.

As Damian and his team carried out works 8 years ago in our family garden, making it a sociable and stylish garden to compliment our home , I had no hesitation in approaching The Urban Gardner again (now working with his lovely son Matthew) when I downsized and my daughters had their own home. The Urban Gardner transformed my daughter’s back garden from ‘rubble’ to a place where they can enjoy their outdoor space with low maintenance. The House I moved to had previously had a pond surrounded by wooden decking- the pond had been removed leaving an unsightly space full of mud and rubble. The decking was unsafe. The Urban Gardner gave me a few ideas to transform the space using porcelain non slip tiles whilst incorporating the existing well planted garden and within my budget. Within two weeks I had a beautiful, useable and safe patio area that I can’t wait to use when the weather improves. Weather conditions were the only drawback during the time of work being carried out and the guys turned up every day to do what they could and kept me updated when it was impossible to carry out work in a particular day. I would highly recommend The Urban Gardner and would like to thank Damian and his team for transforming my garden into a stylish more useable space which I’m sure will get lots of use in the summer months. 😊

Anthony came and relayed my patio which dipped at either side making it very iffy when sitting on a chair or lounger without it tipping over. First visit went through all the details, listened to what I wanted, really focused on my needs not pushing for a bigger job or other ideas. He came and did a magnificent job, I told him I would clean up the little bit of mess but he insisted on doing it, professional to the max. Very good price, Anthony is very approachable and talks through any changes before he does things so no surprises down the line. Cannot fault his work, his team or his confident but friendly manner. I would highly recommend Anthony.

We asked them to put over-grown shurubs, etc, in the ground of our block flats in a better shape. Anthony responded to my text enquies promptly. He and his team arrived when he said they would, trimmed hedges and shrubs, and cut the grass very quickly in good shape, left the ground clean and tidy. We are very satisfied, and we will keep asking them to maintain our ground. Highly recommended.

Fantastic job, the garden was excessively overgrown. The first gardner's equipment 30min broke due to the sheer volume of work. I called Trim & Hedge Team who quickly assessed the job and delivered a excellent service also gave valuable advice and tips to improve the garden landscape. Kieran and his assistant Brandon have done a wonderful job on my garden this week. The garden had been neglected for some time , shrubs were very overgrown; it was full of weeds and generally very messy. Working solid all day they transformed the garden and restored it beautifully. They took away masses of garden rubbish and really went the extra mile. I can now see where to plant new shrubs and will be able to keep on top of the garden. I recommend Kieran to anyone who wants a vastly improved garden, he listens and works really hard. He is going to do more work for me and hopefully maintain the garden in the future.

Honest, reliable and efficient from start to finish!! Allan and Dave rewilded my garden, they put in a wildlife pond something I’d wanted for a while, it attracts so much wildlife! The trees and wildflowers they planted are growing well and I can’t wait to enjoy the garden in summer! Allan laid a base for a new greenhouse for us. The work has been done to an extremely high standard, it looks very smart indeed and the greenhouse fitters were very impressed with it. We are delighted with it, and how it looks now the greenhouse has been built on it. Allan was always on time, arrived when he said he would start the job, and was meticulous in the standard of the work, leaving the site tidy and finishing when he said he would, even though the work was done in December and the weather wasn’t great. Did a cracking job for us. Wouldn't use anyone else now. Absolutely transformed the garden with a 2 part project. Fencing, Decking, playground area with special underlay and artificial grass, even built the playground for us. We love it!

Replaced decking and put artificial grass down at my house. They were super fast and really tidy. The lads were all helpful. Would def recommend.
