I was unhappy with my fake grass and decking but was unsure what I could do to change this. Other landscape gardeners suggested replacing with the same fake grass and decking but Adam suggested a completely different idea. He is innovative and has a great knowledge of plants, nature and the environment. He and his colleague worked hard, were very polite, prompt and communicated well. I am thrilled with my new garden which has surpassed my expectations.

We had our back garden completely transformed by Harris Landscapes. If you are looking for someone who really invests time and creative effort to understand what you love, and takes that from idea to vision and into reality, then Adam Harris is exactly who you need. We found Adam through Google search. We wanted someone to help us design our garden as we did not know what we wanted but had some ideas. Communication with Adam was good from the early stages as we got to know him, and from the outset it was clear he was not your average landscaper. We took up his recommendation of a design process that he guided us through; this was a big leap of faith, as there was a cost to it, but I would really recommend this, especially getting the designs rendered, because it was at this point we knew we would love the garden. Adam spent time with us to understand what we liked about our garden, including the light and the setting. We live near RHS Bridgewater, so a lot of inspiration came from our visits there. We also gave him a garden building to incorporate into the design that could not be moved or changed. He rose to that challenge and came up with a plan that blended it seamlessly into the design. I've posted some photos of the early design, the renders and then the finished result. As you can see from the photos, the end result was a brilliant implementation of the design. Adam provided an indicative budget at the design stage, and then a detailed quote once we had finalised more details. This never changed throughout the project, because the time and effort invested in the design meant we had very little that might change along the way. Adam was very clear what was included and excluded, and he gave us a target start and end date which he stuck to. Our project took two months to deliver - over that time Adam and Joe were respectful to our neighbours, kind to our dog and patient with us as we dealt with the disruption of such a large project. In summary, the work was completed on time and on budget. This was a big project for us, and, we will bring Adam back for a further project at the front of our house in the future. We would 100% recommend Adam to you.

We’ve used Bo and his team twice, for laying porcelain tiles and for a replacement fence including posts. Both jobs were completed to a high standard, in a polite and professional manner despite challenging weather conditions. We will definitely use the team again for any future jobs.

From the first contact to the end result, everything was very smooth and extremely professional. It was a very challenging garden to work on and access was particularly difficult. John came up with solutions to all the problems the garden threw at him and the end result is the garden of our dreams. Both John and his co-worker were so easy to get on with and very good to work with. The site was left as clean and tidy as possible at the end of each day. John ensured all materials were sourced and delivered when needed and thanks to his meticulous standards, the completed garden is absolutely perfect. Fantastic service provided by a friendly and professional team. Ash removed 3 extremely large branches, 2 of which were over our roof. Clean and tidy job with no damage to fencing or roof. I had a lawn that had been turfed a year or two ago by another landscaping company and was extremely patchy. I contacted Lee who came out and not only inspected the lawn but more importantly (in my opinion) discussed with me the issues that may have caused the problem. He drafted up a quote that he felt would address the problem which I agreed to. When carrying out the work, Lee was extremely professional, turning up on time and telling me what he was going to do and set my expectations. The thing I liked most was that when the work was completed, he left me with written instructions on how to care for my lawn and asked if he could call me in a couple of weeks to check if the seed that he laid down was growing as expected (which he did). 6 weeks after his initial visit the lawn is looking the best it has done we moved in and the offer of phone support is still there. I can't recommend Country Landscapes Ltd enough, thank you Lee for all your help. I will be using you again!

We would thoroughly recommend Jo Newton Garden Design & Consultancy. Jo came during some awful weather last year to measure up and really listened to what we wanted. She designed a beautiful cottage garden and her recommended plants came with information about how they would grow and where we could buy them from. Following work by a landscape company, we had the pleasure of sourcing and planting up the garden. Jo had encouraged me to save many of the plants from the old garden before it was cleared so we had many of our original plants to plant back in, giving a feeling of continuity and saving on the cost. We asked Jo to help us with some areas of our garden that had become overgrown and advise us how to re-landscape and re-plant these areas. She listened carefully to what we wanted, and then produced a highly detailed report with suggestions of plants, plant maintenance, landscaping ideas, suppliers and recommended contractors. We highly recommend Jo; throughout the process she was professional and easy to communicate with and we are excited to start putting her ideas into practice.

Jo visited us to view our garden for potential plans and ideas. She was extremely meticulous, patient and detailed in her questioning of what our needs and wants were. Everything that we could think of was covered. Her consultation report and summary including pictures comfirmed her initial meticulous questioning as the report was full of ideas, points to consider, recommendations with alternative options and safety aspects. I was quick to book Jo for a garden consultation. My situation was that I wanted to understand my garden more and to be able to do things myself to really make the most of the space and plants. I was totally clueless and had loads of questions/concerns, so a consultation was exactly what I needed. I'd never seen this kind of service offered before, and it sounded perfect. I wasn't interested in having someone come to measure up for decking or paving and show me samples - I needed someone to come and talk to me about the natural aspects of my garden. Jo's initial advice meant we could actually start getting stuck in straight away (we even did a few things under her kind supervision whilst she was still with us). The icing on the cake is that a week later, we had a full report containing links, resources, ideas and guidance so that we could work through it step by step and at our own pace. We've slowly but surely been implementing everything (easier than we actually thought), and it's really making a positive difference to our garden. Jo's honestly turned things around for us - and educated and inspired us along the way! She doesn't just understand your garden - she gets to know your lifestyle, too, and that makes all the difference in what she tailors for your report. Bring on Spring and a host of gardening activities that even our little girl can get stuck in with!!

My garden was really bad, full of weeds and depressing to look at, but you guys made it beautiful again. Fantastic job. My back garden was in a bad state, jungle is understatement. These guys did a fantastic job of clearing and tidying. My only wish I had funds to do more at it but funds won't allow, but it's tidy and clear and I have sunlight back in my garden. Guys also have done my 2 front lawns, again a brill job.
