Extremely happy with this business, after searching for a gardener who was reliable, good at what they did and on time (a lot aren’t, from experience). I came across this business from a recommendation. Great value for money for garden maintenance, the garden looks great all year round. Always on time and when they say they will be there they are. Knowledgeable guy about plants, the lawn and other aspects of the garden, who has sourced many things for the garden for me, even when they were hard to find due to Covid and delays. 100 percent recommended to anyone who wants maintenance done in the Salford / Manchester area.

I have dealt with a number of gardeners in the past and all have delivered quite disappointing results. This one, however, responded immediately to all contacts made to him, came to quote on time and delivered quote promptly and professionally. Happy with his price I proceeded and I am extremely happy with the results. He arrives on time, works very efficiently and delivers a fantastic result, exceeding my expectations. I will continue to utilise his services in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, professional gardening service that delivers his promise, which is in my experience, rare!!!!!

Had our driveway and side of house flags cleaned by Fence Line and just wow! Absolutely amazing results. Did not expect the flags to look so clean when I arrived back home. We used Dab Hand Landscapes to transform our garden. We obtained a few quotes but as soon as we met & spoke with Damian we knew we would go with him. He spent understanding what we wanted, considered the budget and made some excellent recommendations. During the completion of the job himself & Anthony were professional throughout - adhering to COVID regulations, always turning up on time and cleaning up at the end of the day. Damian aims for perfection and won’t settle for anything less - he has pride in his work & it shows by the quality produced. Our new garden ( new fences, artificial grass, 2 x porcelain patios and pergola ) is fantastic- a definite wow factor when people visit. We first consulted Damian last June 2020 and during the initial consultation he was very helpful and forthcoming with new ideas to revitalise our tired garden. Having obtained a couple of quotes that could have undertaken the job sooner, we decided to wait and proceed with Damian as we trusted the advice given. Our garden is now complete (March 2021) and we can honestly say it was worth the wait. Damian and Anthony worked hard and consulted us every step of the way. They also left everything as clean and tidy as possible with minimal mess. We are very pleased with the final outcome and would most certainly recommend this company 👍🏼

Simply stunning - we can’t believe it’s our garden! We want to say a huge thank you to Damian for all his hard work over the last few weeks. Allan laid a base for a new greenhouse for us. The work has been done to an extremely high standard, it looks very smart indeed and the greenhouse fitters were very impressed with it. We are delighted with it, and how it looks now the greenhouse has been built on it. Allan was always on time, arrived when he said he would start the job, and was meticulous in the standard of the work, leaving the site tidy and finishing when he said he would, even though the work was done in December and the weather wasn’t great. Fantastic job from start to finish. Professional, excellent quality workmanship and end product. Alan battled the awful weather admirably and worked so hard throughout the project. The materials he supplied are top quality and his attention to detail and excellent skills have created a stunning garden landscape. His quotes and final invoice were identical and his valuable regular updates helped us to understand progress, next steps and any details were checked and confirmed. I got Jordan in to clear a large raised bed that was absolutely full of invasive weeds and brambles. He turned up early and spent the day solidly working and by the end the area looked amazing. All the weeds were gone and the soil ready for planting. He also gave me some great advice for what to plant there to keep the weeds at bay. He was really knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. I’ll definitely be getting him back to help me on the rest of the garden!

Jordan and his team did an absolutely fantastic job landscaping our garden! The garden was completely overgrown and needed a lot of work. They stripped the whole thing back and then landscaped using lawn, stone, bark and some flower beds. We are very pleased with the results and will be using JDK garden services to maintain our garden going forward. Would definitely recommend!

The communal garden in this development needed reviving. Justin appreciated how much the garden meant to us all and has patiently restored and maintained it. Justin has been looking after our garden in Didsbury for over a year. He takes a great interest in tending to the garden and is very hard working. We have been using Firswood Gardens for the last two years to maintain communal gardens and lawns in a gated development. We approached Justin after being disappointed by the quality of work of previous contractors. Wow! What a difference it has made to us. I cannot recommend Firswood Gardens highly enough. Justin clearly takes great pride in his work and the gardens are now maintained to a high standard. It's not just mowing and hedge trimming, he really understands and is very knowledgeable about plants too. He has great attention to detail and is extremely reliable, very friendly and approachable.

We initially engaged Greenvision to do some garden designs for us. Dave was personable and really listened to what we wanted as well as suggesting ideas based on his experience. He made the design experience really enjoyable. The result was a garden design we were very happy with. We then appointed Dave and his team to do the landscaping for us and bring the design to life. We couldn't be happier with the result. It has completely transformed the space. Dave was very communicative throughout the project, nothing was too much trouble and the quality of work was top notch. I almost gave up looking for a reliable and decent gardener until accidentally bumped into Brett last Saturday as he was parked waiting on his Nan who went to the shop. I asked him to look at my garden but he was busy at the time and promised to get in touch later the same afternoon. He came to my house prompt and had a good look at my garden, gave me an idea of what he does, even identified some deficiencies and we agree a cost. He promised to do my garden either Thursday or Friday this week. While at work today, I received photos of my garden. It’s the best job for the year and the lawn is wet. Brett has a new customer and I passed his details to my neighbours. I found Brett to be well mannered, no nonsense person who takes pride in his work. Happy to have him as my gardener

Alistair and Sebastian got my mum’s garden maintenance ready and have been looking after it since summer, she’s delighted. I asked Alistair if he’d help me remove astroturf and plant trees in my new house. He was upfront with costs and I think he is very competitive. Not only did he complete the job, but his ideas and advice were greatly appreciated. He told me the names of most of my plants even though little to go off. Loved bouncing ideas backwards and forwards. I’ve now got a clear idea what is achievable over the next few months. Alistair I thank you very very much.

Brilliant. Don’t look any further. We found Alistair early last year and we cannot thank him enough for his hard work and, more importantly, his advice. The work we initially required was just to take on some of the difficult manual labour required to stay on top of our medium/large garden. We didn’t think it would be anything more than a one time deal. However, after seeing the benefits, we changed our minds. We’ve had Salford Gardening come to help now five or six times over the past 18 months, doing everything from weeding and general upkeep through to mulching and cutting back tree branches where necessary. Alistair’s worked in all weathers - mild May sunshine, extreme heat in 2022 summer, cold rain in October, frost again in late winter/early spring and never once has he complained about the conditions. My only reluctancy in writing a review like this is you’ll be more organised and take his time before I can book in again in the future 😂 Alister’s always offered great advice and gone above and beyond to share tips. The garden looks better for having Alistair come round and I look forward to seeing how he is able to help us improve upon what we are lucky to have in our garden.

Impressed at the level of knowledge and expertise these guys have. And truly appreciate the quality of work done to bring our garden into order, and advise given for follow up, after a combination of weather and busy schedules left it unattended all year. Hedge shaped and even, lawn triple-cut, and beds weeded without removing cultivated plants. Before and after shots provided. Worth every penny and confident to use them regularly in future.

Damien and his team have done a fabulous job on my patio. It's a small area & Damien came up with some great ideas to make the most of it. Replacing the battered old decking with beautiful, contemporary, porcelain stone and a lovely light coloured fence. Looks so clean and stylish. I totally luv it. Thank you sooooo much guys.
