We recently hired Dan, as we were looking for a gardener who could help us change aspects of our front and rear garden with new plantings and also help us with some maintenance. The work Dan has done so far has been excellent, and we are starting to see a real change in our garden. We hired Dan to prune our old brambly apple tree, and to clear some space around it by trimming back some holly and ivy that were encroaching on it. He did a very professional job, we're quite attached to our apple tree but he was sensitive to our needs and explained what needed doing and how to keep on top of it ourselves. He left the garden neat and tidy, and was very reasonably priced. We're hoping to get him back later in the year to advise on planting, we've already learned a lot about what we've got in the garden after we moved in.

We asked Daniel to help us to design a planting vision and schedule for the garden in our new home and we couldn’t be happier that we did! He has exceptional horticultural knowledge and had spent some time prior to his assessment of our property coming up with plenty of ideas which suited our wants and needs perfectly. He is so friendly and approachable and really spent a lot of time and effort truly understanding what we wanted to gain from our garden and making suggestions which would make it thrive. We now have a plan over the next year and can’t wait to have him back to help us to make our garden come to life! Could not recommend him more!

Dan has helped us transform the garden over the past few years. We enjoy his thoughtful approach to gardening, working with its natural features, ensuring that our garden is wildlife friendly and attractive at all times of year. Allan laid a base for a new greenhouse for us. The work has been done to an extremely high standard, it looks very smart indeed and the greenhouse fitters were very impressed with it. We are delighted with it, and how it looks now the greenhouse has been built on it. Allan was always on time, arrived when he said he would start the job, and was meticulous in the standard of the work, leaving the site tidy and finishing when he said he would, even though the work was done in December and the weather wasn’t great. Fantastic job from start to finish. Professional, excellent quality workmanship and end product. Alan battled the awful weather admirably and worked so hard throughout the project. The materials he supplied are top quality and his attention to detail and excellent skills have created a stunning garden landscape. His quotes and final invoice were identical and his valuable regular updates helped us to understand progress, next steps and any details were checked and confirmed. Honest, reliable and efficient from start to finish!! Allan and Dave rewilded my garden, they put in a wildlife pond something I’d wanted for a while, it attracts so much wildlife! The trees and wildflowers they planted are growing well and I can’t wait to enjoy the garden in summer! And truly appreciate the quality of work done to bring our garden into order, and advise given for follow up, after a combination of weather and busy schedules left it unattended all year. Brilliant. Don’t look any further. We found Alistair early last year and we cannot thank him enough for his hard work and, more importantly, his advice. The work we initially required was just to take on some of the difficult manual labour required to stay on top of our medium/large garden. We didn’t think it would be anything more than a one time deal. However, after seeing the benefits, we changed our minds. We’ve had Salford Gardening come to help now five or six times over the past 18 months, doing everything from weeding and general upkeep through to mulching and cutting back tree branches where necessary. Alistair’s worked in all weathers - mild May sunshine, extreme heat in 2022 summer, cold rain in October, frost again in late winter/early spring and never once has he complained about the conditions. My only reluctancy in writing a review like this is you’ll be more organised and take his time before I can book in again in the future 😂 Alister’s always offered great advice and gone above and beyond to share tips. The garden looks better for having Alistair come round and I look forward to seeing how he is able to help us improve upon what we are lucky to have in our garden.

Alistair and Sebastian got my mum’s garden maintenance ready and have been looking after it since summer, she’s delighted. I asked Alistair if he’d help me remove astroturf and plant trees in my new house. He was upfront with costs and I think he is very competitive. Not only did he complete the job, but his ideas and advice were greatly appreciated. He told me the names of most of my plants even though little to go off. Loved bouncing ideas backwards and forwards. I’ve now got a clear idea what is achievable over the next few months. Alistair I thank you very very much.

Jordan and his team did an absolutely fantastic job landscaping our garden! The garden was completely overgrown and needed a lot of work. They stripped the whole thing back and then landscaped using lawn, stone, bark and some flower beds. We are very pleased with the results and will be using JDK garden services to maintain our garden going forward. Would definitely recommend!

I got Jordan in to clear a large raised bed that was absolutely full of invasive weeds and brambles. He turned up early and spent the day solidly working and by the end the area looked amazing. All the weeds were gone and the soil ready for planting. He also gave me some great advice for what to plant there to keep the weeds at bay. He was really knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. I’ll definitely be getting him back to help me on the rest of the garden!

Kieran and his assistant Brandon have done a wonderful job on my garden this week. The garden had been neglected for some time , shrubs were very overgrown; it was full of weeds and generally very messy. Working solid all day they transformed the garden and restored it beautifully. They took away masses of garden rubbish and really went the extra mile. I can now see where to plant new shrubs and will be able to keep on top of the garden. I recommend Kieran to anyone who wants a vastly improved garden, he listens and works really hard. He is going to do more work for me and hopefully maintain the garden in the future.

New Year new challenge i need a driveway but first i need to clear weeds and grass from the area soon to be a driveway for my daughter . Enter Chris with his trusty digger and pruner now i no that dosn't sound much but trust me when i say can he work , i was looking at hiring a mini digger and that would have cost me £250 for the day with fuel . the area was 30 square meter and too big for me to do so along came Chris and yes sorted this out and saved me the money to get the gravel for the drive Result .!!!!! Well to say my garden was out of sorts is an understatement Chris ask a couple of questions of how i wanted my garden to be when he left . We agreed that it would take more than one visit to get to the level that i could manage it myself and on that understanding i booked him . i can honestly say that when it was the day to start Chris came on time did a great professional job and tidy . What more can you ask that is why i have been using Chris for more than 5 years i can recommend to anyone such a good team to work with . Regards Adrian

Our large garden was in need of sorting out and Phil did a great job getting it back into shape and keeping on top of it afterwards. He’s a really nice guy and enjoyable company. He knows his stuff, is well equipped and we can thoroughly recommend.

We asked Phil to come to help us to tidy up the garden in our new house ready for autumn. When we first contacted, he came with short notice to take a look at the garden and advise us on what to do and had some useful advice about some of the weeds that we had, as well as general lawn care advice - and not long after came to sort the place out! Can’t fault his work, he cut back some very overgrown hedges and shrubs and cleared all of the cuttings and debris from our garden quickly and efficiently. To top it off he is extremely friendly and a pleasure to have in our garden - if you’re thinking about asking someone to help to sort your garden out don’t hesitate to contact him! We would absolutely recommend him and will definitely be in contact again when we need anything else doing.

Phil has now made several visits to our much loved but getting rather overgrown garden.!!
