I had a really overgrown garden (massive understatement) and Phil came and sorted it out brilliantly. He was very communicative and let me know when her would be coming in advance, Thanks Phil it is very much appreciated.

Phil has now made several visits to our much loved but getting rather overgrown garden.!! We are no longer able to do any heavy work and Phil understands this and is happy to discuss what we want and work along with us. He is friendly,knowledgeable ,experienced and hard working.The garden is looking lovely today after its autumn cutting , mowing and tidying .Thankyou Phil !

We asked Phil to come to help us to tidy up the garden in our new house ready for autumn. When we first contacted, he came with short notice to take a look at the garden and advise us on what to do and had some useful advice about some of the weeds that we had, as well as general lawn care advice - and not long after came to sort the place out! Can’t fault his work, he cut back some very overgrown hedges and shrubs and cleared all of the cuttings and debris from our garden quickly and efficiently. To top it off he is extremely friendly and a pleasure to have in our garden - if you’re thinking about asking someone to help to sort your garden out don’t hesitate to contact him! We would absolutely recommend him and will definitely be in contact again when we need anything else doing.

As Damian and his team carried out works 8 years ago in our family garden, making it a sociable and stylish garden to compliment our home , I had no hesitation in approaching The Urban Gardner again (now working with his lovely son Matthew) when I downsized and my daughters had their own home. The Urban Gardner transformed my daughter’s back garden from ‘rubble’ to a place where they can enjoy their outdoor space with low maintenance. The House I moved to had previously had a pond surrounded by wooden decking- the pond had been removed leaving an unsightly space full of mud and rubble. The decking was unsafe. The Urban Gardner gave me a few ideas to transform the space using porcelain non slip tiles whilst incorporating the existing well planted garden and within my budget. Within two weeks I had a beautiful, useable and safe patio area that I can’t wait to use when the weather improves. Weather conditions were the only drawback during the time of work being carried out and the guys turned up every day to do what they could and kept me updated when it was impossible to carry out work in a particular day. I would highly recommend The Urban Gardner and would like to thank Damian and his team for transforming my garden into a stylish more useable space which I’m sure will get lots of use in the summer months. 😊

Unable to do my own garden due to a painful arthritic hip I was devasted to see all my previous years hard work being ruined. But Brendan, Lukas and Matthew came to the rescue and now I can sit out in my beautifully restored garden and look forward to the summer months. They were punctual, hard working, polite and ready to advise. Brendan has good knowledge of plants and he moved some of my well established ones as well as planting new ones. Thank you so much lads.

Brendan has been restoring my garden for several weeks now and has made a great job of clearing overgrown beds, weeding and lawncare. In addition, he has repotted plants and organised the selection, purchase and planting of new plants and small ornamental trees to enhance the garden. He has a very good knowledge of plants and their attributes which is very helpful in choosing and caring for existing and new plants. Brendan is extremely reliable, friendly, courteous and hardworking. He always checks his booked appointments the day before. He charges very reasonable and competitive hourly rates and I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Brendan has done an excellent job on my lawn and flower beds.As I cannot do it myself cos of tendonitis problems he has been a godsend!

Tried getting hold of a number of gardening services that didn't even get back to me. I contacted Stockport and Tameside Gardening Services. I provided a video of what needed doing, got back to me with a price and a date within a couple of hours. They have done the most amazing job. Did everything that needed to be done. I needed a garden tidy up and contacted Stockport and Tameside Gardening. After agreeing to the quotation and date confirmed, Craig and his co worker came, did all the work required tidied up afterwards and also did some extra work whilst here for an extra few pounds. Cannot recommend Hunter Gardens highly enough. They transformed our dangerous, crumbling concrete garden path into a centre piece fitting the period of our house. They worked relentlessly through a wet and cold winter to finish the path and still managed to finish it to an incredibly high standard. We recently replanted the beds, completing a wonderful piece of design and build. We'll be getting them back to do our back garden soon.
