Lovely salon. I'd been looking for a salon specialising in short, curly hair post chemotherapy. Victoria always asks how I am managing my hairstyle and explains how she is going to cut it before proceeding with the haircut. She then shows how to style it at the end. The stylists here wash your hair, colour it and cut it so you have 1 person looking after you from start to finish. The mints with the coffee are also lovely! This place has been a great find! 08/09 Another precision cut again today. Such beautiful shaping - I particularly love the back. Thank you Victoria! 15/02 I am still thrilled with my hair. I decided to go curly just before Christmas and Victoria listened to my requirements and did a fabulous job yet again. I am really looking forward to my next visit to the salon. Jo is really personable and easy to chat to. He always checks that I'm happy with the cut and whether there is anything I'd like him to tweak. I'm just back from Melissa Timperley. Read my review here. My visit to the salon is always such a lovely experience. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxing. My last two visits I had my hair cut and coloured by Hamish… an absolute genius with the scissors! I have never seen anyone cut a fringe like he does. I always leave the salon loving my cut and colour when Hamish has done it. He fully takes the time to listen to exactly what i want and takes it step by step to keep checking that im happy with the progress. I really appreciate that he spends time with my fringe to get it just right as not many people have done it exactly how i want it…. extremely talented Stylist! Julee

Speechless really. 5 star is not a enough to rate this place. I rarely do a review but since i phoned to take an appointment i felt i should go directly to review this place as endless stars. Razia is so caring, i missed my way and was late for appointment. She sent me one of her team to pick me up. She welcomed me and directly started my straightening treatment. She is an expert, she knows what she is doing. She told me i can see that you had keratin about 4 months back which is so true. . She gave me all instructions needed and the results were even more than i have expected. I had the treatment before in different country and i can assure she is a professional in her job.This lady should be celebrated. I will definitely go back there. I had an excellent experience at Bonton hair salon by Razia and her team with the japanese permanent hair straightening I had. My hair has always been curly and very thick and this treatment has made my hair straight and smooth, excellent results were achieved which I was amazed of how straight it is now. Had the best first experience at Norah’s. I opted for a balayage and the results were amazing! Norah and her staff were able to achieve the colour I wanted in one sitting given I had box dyed my hair! All of the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. Definitely would recommend to all. I recently went to this amazing hair braiding salon, and let me tell you, it was fantastic! The stylist there did such an incredible job with my braids. They were super skilled and created the most beautiful and intricate designs. The salon itself had a really welcoming and comfortable vibe, which made the whole experience even better. I had such a great time there, and I can't wait to go back for my next hair braiding session 😊

Absolutely loved my curly haircut today, it was my first dry cut and the stylist really listened and made sure I was happy before she washed and styled it (thank you for taking so much time to separate my curls and dry them so beautifully!). Came in today and had my hair done by Lucy, she was so sweet and did such an amazing job! The whole process took about 6 hours (I have a lot of hair) and she took so much care and attention to detail throughout, consistently made sure I was happy with it. I had a full head balayage, toner, cut and finish (you can book this all as one service, price varies slightly depending on whether you get a Stylist/ Senior Stylist) and added on an olaplex treatment on top of that. The total came to £165 - no hidden add on charges (cough cough Rush) and I had the option to pay before or after. I’ve never paid less than £200 for a balayage, never mind having a cut thrown in as well. It looks and feels absolutely gorgeous (see pic) I definitely won’t be going elsewhere when I need my hair done! Thank you Lucy and New Church House 🫶🏻

Had a haircut with Lauren (Laurenslocks_manchester on instagram) and had the best experience! I have just moved to manc and wasn't sure where to go for a haircut and I am glad I booked Lauren. She could fit me in quickly for the next weekend (lifesaver for a 9-5 work pattern) and also kept to the time duration she said the haircut would be- which was helpful in keeping to plans after the haircut. Lauren is lovely and makes you feel at ease; asking you if she can touch your hair, asking for inspiration photos for how you want your hair to look, and offering advice for which styles would suit you! I am feeling funky and fresh- 10/10 recommend! :)
