Found this salon completely by accident while on Instagram! It’s the best thing that’s happened in a long time. I was nervous after a previous bad experience but once I was in the chair talking, Autumn made me feel so relaxed and confident also friendly and kind staff around at all times. My hair looked amazing in fact I received great comments even weeks afterwards. So I’m back now every 6 weeks and I really look forward to being in the salon. This was my first time at Melissa Timperly, and my stylist Megan was brilliant. She was so lovely to chat with and did an outstanding job with my hair. I hadn’t had my hair coloured in years, and I wanted something that would be easy to maintain and blend naturally with my own colour, and she was spot on. I also went for a big change with a much shorter cut. I’m always a bit nervous about finding the right hairdresser because my hair has a mix of curl textures, but Megan handled them beautifully. I’m thrilled with my new cut and colour—absolutely loving it! I’ll definitely be coming back here for my next haircut. Thanks Megan!

I'm just back from Melissa Timperley. Read my review here. My visit to the salon is always such a lovely experience. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxing. My last two visits I had my hair cut and coloured by Hamish… an absolute genius with the scissors! I have never seen anyone cut a fringe like he does. I always leave the salon loving my cut and colour when Hamish has done it. He fully takes the time to listen to exactly what i want and takes it step by step to keep checking that im happy with the progress. I really appreciate that he spends time with my fringe to get it just right as not many people have done it exactly how i want it…. extremely talented Stylist! Julee

Amazing salon! I brought my daughter here to have a full head of highlights and I couldn’t be happier with the service we received. The salon is beautifully designed and provides such a welcoming atmosphere. The ladies that work here are lovely, they made us feel so comfortable it felt like we had been clients for years. Greta did an amazing job on my daughter’s hair, it looks fantastic and is so healthy. The ladies are so knowledgeable and gave us the best advice about the hair treatment that would be best for my daughter. There is a reason this salon has 5star rating!! I went in for the first time yesterday for a balayage and the experience was amazing!!! I was extremely nervous about having a drastic change of hair colour but Gretha was reassuring me throughout the whole process and what I loved was the fact that she didn’t care about the time it took, she wanted to see me happy before I left. She did an amazing job on my hair and I’m so delighted with the result. I can’t wait to go back there for a few other treatments that I need, it’s great to go to a salon where they do EVERYTHING :) All the staff were friendly and approachable, the manager Inas was lovely!!! I went today with the idea of shaving all my hair which now, I'm glad I didnt do but it did seem like she didnt want to and talked me out of it. She did do a good cut on my hair which I'm happy about. The cut was going £15! I will 100% be going back next time I'm down and need a cut

sina barbers is new in northenden and im used to going masimos or aryans wich are both in northenden but my lad was in need of a haircut and the other two barbers were both busy so i took him into sina barbers was a bit apprehensive as im fussy when it come to haircuts but he done a great job of my lads hair and so decided to get mine cut and he didn’t disappoint plus was cheaper than what i usually pay too. top haircut and nice guy. 🙌🏻

Had a wonderful experience in my colouring session. I went there for my appointment with my baby, they gave me a private quite room so that me and my baby had privacy during the whole session. The lady dasty who did my hair colour was a very wonderful lady, did exactly the same colour which I showed her in the picture. All the staffs including the honour were very nice and warm. They all made sure that I dont face any problem with my baby. I highly recommend the salon because of their good work and behaviour. Cant be happy enough!! Keep up the good work team!

Carole provided an excellent consultation, carefully explaining the best length for my hair based on its texture and offering great styling and maintenance tips. Her expertise and skill truly stand out, and I highly recommend her! She also did an incredible hair treatment that made an immediate difference—my hair looked noticeably healthier, shinier, and more vibrant. What I appreciated most was her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring I was completely happy and satisfied before I left the salon. Having struggled to come out of salons with a colour I was happy with in the past, I decided to try Greys, who were highly recommended to me. Stuart has transformed my hair, taking me from a box colour/then stripped colour, resulting in a faded uneven warm brown, to gorgeous ash toned highlights on a natural cool brown base colour. Stuart took so much care in ensuring that I left the salon happy and I can honestly say that I have! Both Stuart and Maggs really love what they do and look after their customers...also Shih Tzu parents, so a big plus for me 😊 thanks so much to both of you for making my visit so enjoyable!

1st time visiting Boombae Salon and I am absolutely going back! The salon has a unique, fun vibe with a cool comic-book aesthetic. It's a feminine space with a modern twist, welcoming everyone. I got a shampoo, haircut, and blow-dry for just £55, which was an incredible deal for the quality of service I received. Cydney was amazing—she was kind, knowledgeable, and really took the time to make sure I loved my new look. And my hair are truly curly! I’m absolutely in love with my haircut! She also made our conversation enjoyable, and I felt completely at ease the entire time. Highly recommend!
