Just had a massage. By Nicole and from walking in I was put at ease with friendly staff and had lovely experience visiting here . Nicole talk me through everything and took some details. I returned to the salon for the 2nd time, last time Sandra did my daughters hair, so I went to have mine done. Sandra, you didn't disappoint!!! I've been twice now, both times had my hair done by Hayley. And honestly I am impressed and so incredibly happy. The first time I had a cut and finish - absolutely great job and felt much healthier after only hacking it myself since lockdown. This time I had a full head of highlights, toner and condition, and it's amazing!! Ive gone from VERY dark brown, so a blonde looking colour, and my hair is in amazing condition! Hayley is so kind, and as someone who finds it hard to make small talk, she doesn't force conversation where it isn't needed. And to say their prices are amazing would be an understatement, it's been a long time since I've been able to afford a luxury like hairdressers, and I can't recommend this place enough 🩷

I had my hair highlighted for the first time by Cara and the colour is perfect and looks really natural. The cut is the best I’ve had in a long time and l am glad I listened about having the long layers. Have booked my next appointment and looking forward to the experience. I'm just back from Melissa Timperley. Read my review here. My visit to the salon is always such a lovely experience. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxing. My last two visits I had my hair cut and coloured by Hamish… an absolute genius with the scissors! I have never seen anyone cut a fringe like he does. I always leave the salon loving my cut and colour when Hamish has done it. He fully takes the time to listen to exactly what i want and takes it step by step to keep checking that im happy with the progress. I really appreciate that he spends time with my fringe to get it just right as not many people have done it exactly how i want it…. extremely talented Stylist! Julee

This was my first time at Melissa Timperly, and my stylist Megan was brilliant. She was so lovely to chat with and did an outstanding job with my hair. I hadn’t had my hair coloured in years, and I wanted something that would be easy to maintain and blend naturally with my own colour, and she was spot on. I also went for a big change with a much shorter cut. I’m always a bit nervous about finding the right hairdresser because my hair has a mix of curl textures, but Megan handled them beautifully. I’m thrilled with my new cut and colour—absolutely loving it! I’ll definitely be coming back here for my next haircut. Thanks Megan!

I had my hair cut last week at FIX Hair and beauty. 65 Market Street, Atherton, Manchester. Cait is the curl specialist there and does curl by curl cut using cgm products. I honestly can't recommend her enough! Gorgeous salon and everyone there is very friendly and puts you at ease. Cait is so lovely, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It's the first time in my life I've had a hair cut and walked out happy. I'll never go anywhere else ☺️

Mini Curly Cut I booked my little girl in for her very first cut at Fix after a friend recommended Cait as a curl guru. I went into the salon to book her in and felt really welcome. I was dreading the appointment as my little girl is not always the easiest, especially when it comes to hair maintenance. But all the staff in the salon made a massive fuss of her and danced to her tune. Cait was incredible with her, ridiculously patient, let her spray water all over the salon just to keep her happy 🙈. Aside from her kindness and understanding, the results of her work are incredible. It's evident that Cait has a true understanding of curly hair and was very forthcoming with advice to take home too. I was looking for a new hairdresser following a botch job at my last place! Found this salon, Tamhair, what a gem! Nice and local, very reasonably priced too. Thankfully Kerry knows her stuff and was able to offer advice and a good cut! Friendly salon, warm welcome for newbie customers AND great coffee... What's not to like..?

I went for highlights...very professional did patch test and hair colour a week before. I have long hair so was in a while. Staff are lovely. I must try and keep it up getting trim every 3 months and maybe half head highlights 🤣

Really reasonable prices too! You get looked after here by both ladies, Katie has done my hair once too and took me from box black dye to red in one sitting! I discovered Kevin via a friend last October and am very impressed by his skill and knowledge. At other salons, I'd think I'd had a good cut but the effect was due to the finish and disappeared after a week or so. The style was always the same! Kevin listens and responds to my wishes but also has ideas that suit me - I'm looking forward to some great styles.
