Ordered here for the first time today, both me and my husband got beef brisket ramen and it was nice. The only downfall was that on their website where I placed the order, there was no description as to what was in the dish. It was full of spring onions and dried onions (both of which I don’t like) and if I had known this I certainly wouldn’t have ordered this dish. Overall it was still warm when it was delivered and the taste was very nice.

Amazing food....I was about to venture out to Miller and Carter when I happened upon this takeaway. The food was 10/10, I had the squid for starters and beef ramen, couldn't fault anything. Finished off with a brownie and ice cream. Credit where its due, one of the best takeaways I've had ever. When I visit work site next time I'll definitely be repeating my order.

I highly recommend the wild grill... I always have the salt and pepper squid starter and the beef brisket ramen bowl... and it is always top quality, piping hot and delicious fresh food. They have an open kitchen so you can watch them cook your food fresh. The staff are so friendly and will always have a chat with you. By far the best takeaway in leigh for me 👍

OMG! TOO TOO GOOD!!! We randomly ordered through Just Eat and OMG... The ramen broth is deep and rich, the beef..like it was born with flavouring!! What did you guys do to the cow?? 🤣 And then we tried the beef rib burger. The bone just slides off smoothly, the meat 12/10, just perfect! Better burger than Almost Famous. Really. Next, we had the Southern Fried Chicken Bao. I promise you this review is not endorsed, but omg you guys, what are you doing in Leigh?? (But PLEASE STAY) Last but not least, the fries (or chips, for u brits) made it through the delivery and still so crispy it woke up our dog! We dipped the fries into the heavenly peppercorn sauce, which i could drink like a shot! It was seriously THE BEST dinner in bed for us! Next time we'll come there. Promise. Thank you. We love you!!

Yesterday, I tried their amiss Daisy Burger and it is nothing like you see in normal take away shops. One of best burgers I have eat in my life. Return following day to try different burger on menu. Thank you for this amazing food.

Went to try for first time and ordered the munchbox 3 both me and my partner were impressed with the presentation and taste of the food, the service was brilliant and fast, will definitely go again!!

An amazing experience, thank you Taste Africana!!!! A wonderful introduction to African food, we had a tour around the menu, my husband eats fish and I'm a veggie, plenty of delicious options for us both. The meal was absolutely delicious! Fab music in the background and lovely company. We were even introduced to an African board game which was loads of fun! We will be back! Thank you again, a great evening! If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would! I travel an hour just to enjoy their food, and it’s worth every mile. Their Nkwobi, Isiewu and pepper soup are simply the best I’ve ever had—flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. Not only is the food top-notch in both quantity and quality, but the prices are also incredibly reasonable. You get amazing value for your money, which is rare these days. What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is their exceptional customer service. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always ensures that every customer leaves satisfied. It feels like home every time I visit. If you love authentic, delicious food and outstanding service, this is the place to be. We went here last weekend, to explore the newest cuisine in town. We were not disappointed, food was amazing, a friendly welcome and the longer wait - all is freshly prepared to your order- was brighten up by a little board game. Why not all 5⭐⭐?! It was a bit cold - the weather had turned and I guess being that early as we were the heating hasn't kicked in, which in turn gave the atmosphere a bit of - a chill!? Making the long wait for the food a bit of an endurance. That said, we loooved the food, it's a nice place and we will be definitely back for more!!!!!! With this, please give this amazingly exotic restaurant a visit, it counts and you would regret not having been there!!!

My husband and I both ordered from the premium set menu and we couldn't fault it. We didn't manage to get any photographs of the food because we just tucked straight in, it was delicious! Service was great and staff were happy and friendly. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for a lovely dinning experience.

We came for a family birthday. The food and service were excellent. First time we have been but will definitely come back. The staff are so helpful and polite. Nothing is to much trouble for them.

We visited for the first time this evening after it had been recommended and I can see why! Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The menu is very comprehensive so we were spoiled for choice. At least that means we have lots of new choices for our next visit! The staff are wonderful and so friendly. It was my husband's birthday and they even finished off with a treat for him. We really fancied a Italian date nate and our local was shut,so we looked further afield. This hidden gem is fairly priced, large portions and the staff was very attentive to all customers. Food is cooked in front of you, open kitchen on dining floor which was an amazing experience 👌 🙌 I highly recommend this place and we will be back!!!

The food was generally good. One thing that particularly impressed us was how the dishes were perfectly seasoned, not overly salty as we’ve experienced at other Italian restaurants. This allowed the fresh ingredients and authentic flavors to really shine through. The highlight of our meal was the grilled steak – although it is a bit overcooked as we ordered a medium, it is still delicious, smoky flavor that left us wanting more. Every bite was tender and juicy. The only dish that was a bit disappointed is the grilled fish, they are a little dry.

Visited February 2025 We visited for Sunday lunch on a whim - now, we are very glad that we did. Lovely accommodation with a real restaurant feel that is lacking in so many others these days. Excellent food prepared in the open kitchen and served piping hot. Great flavours at a very competitive price. We will be visiting more often moving forward.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at La Casa! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. A special thank you to Marco for his exceptional hospitality – he truly made our evening memorable. I came in with a group of friends, and we all agreed it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. We’ll definitely be back soon!

As this was our first visit, we decided to try the Early Bird Menu (5-6pm, Tue-Fri) of three courses for £26.85 per person and a bottle of house red wine £19.95. The food was absolutely delicious and good portion sizes. I initially thought the price for the house red wine was a little expensive. However, it was very good. The staff were very polite and attentive and we weren't rushed at all. We will definitely be going back.

It's a great place to eat, if you like Italian food, you won't be disappointed. Friendly service on the top of everything. Will come back again for sure.

First visit, lunchtime, very impressed very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, really enjoyed our meal just found my main a little salty but that's down to personal taste. A little quiet for a Friday I was surprised it wasn't a little busier. Nice ambience, music on but at a nice volume so you can have a conversation. I would recommend without hesitation. However, having family members who are vegetarian I noticed that there isn't much choice on the menu. Maybe worth checking if you plan a visit that there is something to suit your taste.

A great venue. Excellent food and wonderful attentive staff. Extensive choice from the menu (mixed starter highly recommended) and a complete range of curry temperatures. The venue has a good vibe with the opportunity to open the doors to a nice patio area for when the warmer weather arrives.

Lovely new place to dine at, nice and modern with brilliant deco, my wife loved the chandeliers. The food was great and staff really friendly. The place is quite big with plenty of space to move around in so no need to squeeze past everyone to get to table.

What an amazing place! We have been here so many times and consider it our local so when we were planning our wedding it was our first choice! The staff helped us plan every step of our day and were always on hand to answer any of our questions. They allowed us to set up the venue the day before and helped us make everything perfect! On the day all the staff exceeded our expectations! They were so kind, helpful, and amazing! The food was outstanding and they created the chilled and relaxed wedding we had dreamed of! We cannot thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone considering a wedding venue. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Myself, partner and Dad went for Sunday Roast yesterday and it was delicious. One had beef and the other two the Trio which was so tasty and so much of it that none of use could actually finish it all. I was thinking not having been for a while, that quality may have changed but it was just as good. Thank you again!

I was out with a bunch of workmates for an evening of food, drinks & craic. This is a lovely spot. The food was quite nice. Service was very, very good, I must say. They were quick & friendly too 5⭐️ There was a lovely vibe. Really liked the cocktails & I was informed the mocktails were very tasty too. The only gripe that I had was that I felt shoehorned in. The tables are somewhat close together 🥴 If you fancy meeting up with family or friends, this is a good spot for that.

Love this place so much. Been there a few times and we’re so lucky to have a place like this on our doorstep - so not having to venture into Liverpool or Manchester for a similar vibe! With various rooms/areas it caters for if you want a quieter social drink, or if you’re after more of a party atmosphere - or in a larger group - there’s the bottomless brunches and also live bands. The brunches are great value so very popular so it can often get very busy and loud! There’s an impressive range of food and I thought that for their price positioning the food exceeded expectation and the range of drinks is very good as well. It’s a family ran place and the management and staff are flat out but go out of their way to look after you. They’ve gone the extra mile several times when we’ve been there. You’ll see from the reviews nearly everyone gives 5 stars and they’ve earned this! There can be delays when they are at their busiest - but that can be said of anywhere - so bear this in mind if you’re heading there on the busiest days. The live entertainment is beyond top drawer! They had a live singer/guitarist last time we were there and in no time he had us up dancing and joining in, taking requests and playing new songs and old. I’ve had some of my best nights in recent years at the cabinet! The busier days/nights won’t suit everyone but I can’t recommend it enough and i can’t wait to be there again!
