Im not usually a person that leaves reviews however this place, I would highly recommend to everyone and will definitely be coming back! It was our first time coming to this restaurant and the staff were so friendly and very accommodating not just to adults, but to children also. The food was absolutely amazing! I wish I also took a photo of our starters. The starters were so nice but the steak was the nicest steak weve genuinely ever had. I can honestly say that everything we had including the cocktails were really nice. My daughter is a fussy eater and loved her food too! You can tell that this is a family run business and that they also put everything and more into the service they provide and quality of food. Thank you again and already looking forward to the next visit! :)

We came when this first opened and what a place. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough. It was so reasonably priced as a lot of chippys local have raised their costs so much. For me, chips are not my favourite thing, but I can honestly say, these were the best, and there is so many options to choose from too ranging from traditional chip shop to chicken, burgers, sandwiches, pies and deserts!! I would highly recommend!!

First off, if I could give 6 out of 5 stars for Middleton Fish Bar, I would. I enjoyed the Cod & Chips with Mushy Peas today and the meal was Fantastic. The Cod was delicious but it was the batter on the fish ( Light, airy and very Flavor able) that put it all together. I also tried the curry sauces with my Fish and being from Canada, this was a new taste for me. A+++. 👍👍 The owners, Kevin and Pam introduced themselves to me and answered all my questions as I was new to the city and their restaurant. Their restaurant is very clean and inviting. A must goto if your in the beautiful city of Middleton and looking for a place to eat.

This place is the best fish and chips in the country. Top staff. Top fish. I always get the jumbo sized it's so good. Really good service couldn't be more complimentary. I parked free in the car park behind as the staff insisted as long as I'm coming here to please use a space as the parking is limited...so handy to know. Come in. Sit down. Get a brew. Say hello. I would be hard pressed to choose between this and something else ad my last supper. Get down here and prove me wrong. Outstanding.

Tried for the first time as it's recently opened and wasn't disappointed! The Smash Burger was lovely, great quality and really well presented. I loved the fries too, a large portion, really crispy and fresh.

These guys are absolutely smashing it with the smash burgers! The flavour is unreal, the quality is second to none and they're always proper friendly! Little details like the smiley face on the packaging, the fact the burger is wrapped before it goes into a burger box, napkins with your order- things that just tell you attention and care has gone into your order. Nothing worse than being disappointed on a takeaway-treat night so do yourself a favour and get ordering through their website. Keep at it boys, you're absolutely killing it 👏👏👏

Reasons to order from here; Really friendly delivery driver. Really amazing price for HIGH quality food. Presentation was amazing, they give you salt to salt your own chips. The curly fries tasted unreal amazing. Everything was hot! The burger's were unreal. Best place around. They even had a cute little smiley face on the packaging which was cute as! The food even came with a nice little thank you note. Will be ordering here on the regular. 10/10, out done yourself. Going places. 100% reccomend.

A friend of mine recommended this place so I travelled from Bradford to try the Smash burgers and shakes and I must say I wasn't disappointed. The burgers are cooked to perfection with juices still flowing through the meat and every bite gives you happiness. Try the QuadSmash burger if you're really hungry 😋, you'll definitely be smiling. The shakes are full of flavour and tingle every single tastebud you have. Staff was friendly and the service was awesome too. I highly recommend you come and try it for yourself.

What a treat we had at the 22 Meze evening it was wonderful! I have only given 4 stars because of the dreadful wine, think you should rethink your supplier . But the service the staff and food was amazing! We have been for lunch too! That was as good . We will be back

Not been in a while fancied something warm to eat. Bought a chicken gyros, it was nice. Bit too many chips for my liking. It is a nice place, good atmosphere. Has themed events some evenings which I know are popular. May go back and try one of their meze nights.

A hidden little gem just off Manchester New Road Alkrington. A lovely welcome from smiley people. A bit of Christmas music in the background. The cafe is well lite, fresh and clean. The coffees are good and food is freshly prepared and tasty. When their satisfied customers are leaving the smiley welcoming people say “bye” too. Definitely worthy of a visit.

We took a chance on this place and I'm so glad we did. The steak is legendary, the chef knows what medium rare means, absolute legend, if you're having steak go for the sirloin with Dianne sauce, I could eat it every day of the week, service was great, lots of smiles and a warm atmosphere, glass was never empty. Reasonably priced. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be going back 🙂🙂🙂

This was my second visit to this beautiful little pub and I honestly love it even more! The food was gorgeous & a wonderful mouthwatering menu to cater for all, nothing is too much trouble & Clare goes above & beyond to welcome you in & make you feel at home. You can tell she holds a wealth of experience in this industry & it shows. The staff are lovely & accommodating with a fabulous range of drinks to choose from. I had a look at the beer garden & I hope we can get some dry weather so it can be enjoyed by all. I can’t wait to go back, would highly recommend.

Visted the hare and hounds yesterday, party of three adults. On entrance it was a welcoming pub, despite being buisy they managed to fit us in, the place is really clean and friendly. The place felt very relaxing and well kept lovely decor, plenty to look at while your waiting for your food. The staff did say there would be a wait for the food as they were buisy but to be fair the wait time was expected. My mates enjoyed their food , but let me tell you I had the cheese pie and it was sooooo good possible the best cheese pie I've had for a while, three cheeses it had , and the pastry was perfect, and them chips absolutely bob on perfection. We did travel from leigh and was well worth a visit, I am going to visit again as that pie was so good. Staff were nice not pushy or standing over you.

Been here 4 times now tried different meals food is always fresh hot and is amazing. Staff are always happy to help and table service is great. Family run pub and great for children definitely highly recommended.

I've ordered from here nearly every Wednesday since it opened and everything I've ordered has been lovely. I'm a bit of a curry fan and I like to try different places but since I've found this Gem I've become a big fan and not bothered ordering from anywhere else! I think the prices are very reasonable for what you get. I've ordered food for different friends and they've all raved about it. For vegetarians... If you've never tried it before, the Paneer bhuna is beautiful, you've got to try it 😋. If you like curry etc , I definitely recommend this place.

Exceptional Food and Service! Me and my husband have been going there weekly since they opened and every meal we have had has been absolutely top notch!! The service is always spot on! Great place for a Birthday dinner! We visited at the weekend for a Birthday dinner. The restaurant was mostly people visiting for Birthday celebrations and it was very busy, so please make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment! All of the starters we had were delicious and the pasta I had was amazing! I absolutely recommend the pasta - I've never had a pasta that good before! The staff were all really good and very helpful with menu choices. Definitely worth a visit!

What can I say. Amazing and more. We have celebrated many a night here. My children have grown up with this restaurant always being their choice for family get togetherness. I love it here. Great care and attention to detail whether it be a sit down family meal of 6 or an impromptu stop off for a take out. The staff are amazing each and every one of them play a special part in our nights out. I refuse to go anywhere else for my fix of Italian food. FYI the Tiramisu is to DIE for !!!!

Fabulous restaurant, friendly staff, the service was brilliant for our large table. We all enjoyed our food so much it was absolutely delicious I can't wait to return for another great night.

The first time I went we were a party of six and everything was amazing I couldn’t fault anything the food the service the wait time it was all perfect although the second time I went the waiter was very dismissive he didn’t right our order down and due to allergies I’m unable to have garlic and onion he seemed to be confused at our order but went away anyway then when the food arrived there was quite a few things wrong with it but then we got another waiter and they were amazing super understanding and really apologetic. Overall I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant and would absolutely go again.

Had a birthday meal there with family on01/02/25. Lovely place, service was excellent especially Alex in the downstairs bar, so friendly and couldnt do enough for us. Definitely going back soon. Would definitely recommend this place

Great restaurant with a lovely setting and lovely views from their window front upstairs. The menu was refreshing and a good price for a set menu on a Sunday. We started off with cocktails which were delicious and including the mocktails! The white onion soup starter was one of the nicest soups I’ve tasted in a while! The Sunday roast was perfect, my beef was cooked to perfection and we were stuffed by the end! The desserts were also nice from what we managed after being full up! In particular we enjoyed the deconstructed tiramisu. Unfortunately my mother had a medical emergency after the meal due to an illness, it was quite scary and required an ambulance (she’s ok now). The staff were absolutely incredible during this, phoned an ambulance, kept everyone calm and directed the paramedics upstairs so I’m very thankful to them and they’re a testament to the company!

An absolutely cosy and beautiful autumn atmosphere reflected in the gorgeous autumn leaves and soft lighting. We enjoyed our Sunday roast dinner. The food was delicious and didn't take long time to be served. This was brilliant to see despite the fact that the restaurant was so busy. Lily was amazing and looked after us and kept checking if everything ok! I absolutely enjoyed her recommendation of the carrot cake with Pistachio frosting. Great atmosphere and fantastic service and most importantly, very delicious food. Thank you ❤️

Beautiful food as always! Mixed platter for 2 for starters which was incredible with a fresh salad and sauce! Curry was on point as usual with chips and mushroom fried rice for a change! Naan breads were freshly made and again, absolutely delicious! We love this place!

Been a while since I've been in here and Mushy looked after us. Service spot on and food as good as ever. Took someone in who loves a good curry and was gutted he'd not been in sooner. Will be back.

Without sounding overdramatic, I can't thank Connor and the team enough- we ended up having to plan a (very) last minute 16th birthday, and during an already busy xmas period, Connor went out of his way to help us out. Food choices were brill, and I've been told everyone had an amazing time. The only bad thing that I can say about it all is that we don't live in the area, so didn't make it down to the party!

I had my dads wake at the archer and the service was 5 star they opened for us on the Monday when there normally shut,Connor was so helpful and did everything to make it as good as possible,buffet was beautiful,staff were amazing cant thank them all enough for everything and prices were great well worth it and would highly recommend this place for any occasion 5 ⭐️ from me x

Booked our Sunday roast, as didn't want to be disappointed. We certainly wasn't either, best Sunday roast for ages. The banoffe pie after was devine, had to have it to take out was so full with the dinner. It's all home made too 😋. Staff friendly and service was fast. Well done keep up the good work. Deffo be back 🥰
