Nice atmosphere and good food, although a bit pricey. Pleasant staff. I had the steak sandwich which was ok, but only a very thin slice of meat, and the pesto overpowered most of the other flavours. Chorizo hash was a good option though

My daughter and I visited for the first time today and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff are super friendly and the drinks were delicious. We foolishly ordered two lots of different topped pancakes to share. They looked and tasted incredible but were impossible to finish. We have them boxed up for later if we have room. The photos online do not give credit for the sheer size of a portion. They were amazing. We will go back but will order pancakes to share next time.

Excellent coffee! My flat white was hot, creamy and the coffee flavours were complex but not bitter (like some ‘chain’ coffees can be?) Shakshuka eggs with beef chilli were fantastic - spicy, rich, savoury, saucy and the sourdough toast was crisp yet soft, perfect for mopping the sauce - a brunch dish to relish every mouthful! Staff were friendly and welcoming, efficient and made me feel like a regular on my first visit here. Ambiance is good, decor ‘industrial chic’ - the perfect place for brunch or lunch, deserves every one of the five stars 🌟…. If I could give six, then I would.

Visited for the first today and we were very impressed. The team were lovely, great service and fabulous food. My Partner had the Mayhap breakfast, I had the veggie breakfast and then we treated ourselves to the September special of spiced apple pie french toast which out of this world delicious. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Thai / Japanese. A great asset to the local community. Delicious food, lively atmosphere. Child friendly. Lots of began and veggie options. The food was delicious 😋. I would highly recommend. We sat in but there is also a takeaway option. Definitely worth a try to experience such gorgeous and unique flavours. I can't wait to go again.

I’ve always wanted a nice Thai restaurant near home and I finally have it! Small and friendly place situated in Tyldesley. Lovely decor, friendly staff and amazing food. I cannot recommend this place enough. They have a small menu but this is by design to keep things authentic and to a high standard. Not disappointed with choice and everything came piping hot and tasted delicious. Try the home-made coconut ice cream! 2023 update: the quality of the food has remained excellent. The host is superb, the staff are friendly and courteous and the prices are great. I wish I could review this place again. It’s truly a great restaurant.

Popped in last week. Our first time. Lovely food, staff and restaurant. We have booked in again for my daughter's birthday. I did ask for some Thai or Japanese music to be played and they did put on some Thai music which made the experience nicer. I'm not a fan of going to places to eat and have to listen to the local chart music. Me and my family like to embrace other people's culture food, music and decor.

Went to laguna for my birthday last night. Food was lovely. Seven of us and we all enjoyed the food. Would definitely recommend and go again. Prices were reasonable as well.

Lovely ambience, friendly atmosphere and service. Food absolutely delicious, lamb shanks and vegetables cooked to perfection. Been a few times and would happily highly recommend.

We really fancied a Italian date nate and our local was shut,so we looked further afield. This hidden gem is fairly priced, large portions and the staff was very attentive to all customers. Food is cooked in front of you, open kitchen on dining floor which was an amazing experience 👌 🙌 I highly recommend this place and we will be back!!!

The food was generally good. One thing that particularly impressed us was how the dishes were perfectly seasoned, not overly salty as we’ve experienced at other Italian restaurants. This allowed the fresh ingredients and authentic flavors to really shine through. The highlight of our meal was the grilled steak – although it is a bit overcooked as we ordered a medium, it is still delicious, smoky flavor that left us wanting more. Every bite was tender and juicy. The only dish that was a bit disappointed is the grilled fish, they are a little dry.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at La Casa! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. A special thank you to Marco for his exceptional hospitality – he truly made our evening memorable. I came in with a group of friends, and we all agreed it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Saturday afternoon / evening drinks with friends at the wine bar. Great atmosphere staff are so friendly and welcoming they couldnt do enough for us. Good selection of gins and cocktails. A great new place for socialising inside and outside weather permitting. Heat lamps and blankets provided for those chilly evenings. Highly recommend a visit!! Dog friendly if you fancy a cheeky afternoon treat after a nice walk 🐾

Grand Holdi is a great place for Asian food the inside is a beautiful and stylish with amazing, beautiful lights It has an amazing view outside with a pond and such beautiful flowers 😍 oh, and don't get me started on the food. We had this curry called anarashi it was the best curry I've ever 😋 had the staff are very kind and friendly. If you need anything they are there. I would recommend anyone to go there

Diane helped to organise a surprise birthday get together for my sister. The cocktails and food was delicious and great value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends

Went for a baby shower (not mine 😂) and we all sat in the conservatory. It was a little cold but warmed up when everyone turned up. Food was really nice, we had afternoon tea and Prosecco was given in Ice Buckets which a must for me. Definitely would go again.

Me and my son went in on 22/01/2025, my son had been going on and on at me to try the steak and ale pie, he had been raving about it, so, in we went, and I must say I wasn't disappointed, it was absolutely beautiful, best pie I've ever eaten, the chips were to die for, good selection of vegetables and the gravy was bloody gorgeous, the staff are brilliant, very welcoming and friendly, I've lived in tyldesley over 30 years, first time in here, certainly won't be my last, the food, the price, the staff, 10/10, a gem in this little town 👍

Great traditional old pub. Lovely food. Very nice staff. Loads of TV,s for live sport. Could do with a bit of a refurb and doesn't have its own carpark but will definitely be going again😃😃😃👍👍

Visited today food was exceptionally, good old fashioned pub grub, atmosphere was chilled and very relaxed, camaraderie fantastic. Been a few times now and never disappointed with the food and atmosphere 👌 ✨️

First time at this new restauant. Food and service were very good. Lovely, welcoming staff and great attention to detail. Lighting was very bright though so could do with dimming the lights a little in the evening which would improve the atmosphere. Definitely will go back.

Delicious food, extremely good value as there is always a buy a pizza or pasta and get one free offer on after 5pm. The staff are lovely and friendly. Roma Cafe Bistro is a great asset to the community. Only one suggestion would be to have beaded or thin voile curtains over the windows to improve the ambience. Can't wait to go back again.

Good food, plenty of seating and friendly staff and atmosphere. Good place for breakfast of a simple coffee. Just an edit to add. Latte should not have chocolate on top. Great place still and I have not removed any stars but pleeeeease stop putting chocolate on top of latte! Unless it is asked for of course and even then it would be a Mocha or a Cappuccino.

I’m not a regular but have come here around once every 2 months for 7 years, always for breakfast and went today on New Years Eve. The food is consistently good for a cafe breakfast and the prices are very fair, the staff are friendly, local people and the place is always busy. I only did a review because I was amazed to see the odd bad review that I find very difficult to believe, my experiences are random over 7 years and the food and service has been good every time.

Food is great, never had a bad meal. Service is ok. They have a tendency to remove plates whilst people in your party are still eating which is a minor annoyance.

Great place to visit with mates for a cracking Ruby Murray! There is a large menu with lots of varied dishes to choose from that caters for all curry lovers. If only to be nit picky, one of the chocolates that arrived with the bill had a full wrapper on it… but no chocolate inside! It’s fair to say one of the lads (pictured in one of my photos) was not at all happy about this!

Great food, and plenty of it so usually end up bringing some home. Been going for years and the management and service has never failed to impress.

Probably the nicest comfiest pub I've been in. It's a bit too busy Friday and Saturday, but all that means is it's a victim of its own success. The landlord is fantastic

Under new management, beers ok, same punters from down the Pits along with same tables and chairs. Decent enough but not quite running with the mid range local pubs yet.
