Old style boozer. Decent choice of beer. Lovely staff and nice decent honest punters frequenting the place. Only downside that despite being well and truly in Wigan tfe landlady has an awful taste in clothing and insists on wearing a Billinge Rovers (St Helens) top on Derby day. Anyway it was a good day to have a beer in there after tasting the sweet taste of victory.

Very much a locals pub, not sure if I was sat in somebody's seat -but they were friendly enough. Decent beer and very good service.

Lovely evening dinner here tonight! Family of 7 of us all had 3 courses and was beautiful. Waitress was lovely and very attentive, good menu knowledge , drinks were topped up and overall very good service. Food was exceptional! Every bite was full of flavour and love! Good quality ingredients and every aspect of the dishes was done to perfection Best spot in Wigan and definitely worth the price

Wow! What a find! A local restaurant that is so good I want to keep it a secret - but also want our local business to succeed. The chefs are great, the food is equally delicious. The menu is sensible and very well priced. The 3 course lunch is a bargain. Danni, our host/server/waitress was exceptionally good. We have been twice in just 3 weeks. It is that good.

We visited Juniper in December for a family meal. Their catering was excellent for our large party of 16. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were pleasant and attentive and all of our requirements were met. The restaurant has a special, elegant dining feel which made for a memorable occasion. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Juniper and look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you!

We visited this week on Monday afternoon between 3-5pm to celebrate my nieces 21st birthday! We was staying away for the weekend nearby at the glamping pods & we found this place online! And it was easy to walk in and had plenty of tables The small plate menu was what attracted me to dine here and it did not disappoint! The food is absolutely unbelievable! We had to thank the chef and ask him to come out because everything was perfect! The service was phenomenal, a lady called Louise was our host and she was the most welcoming and friendliest lady! We all ordered different small plates and sides for a 5 person table and felt it’s best share! Portions was huge, and all the food came out at the same time! We even ordered extra tacos because they was too nice!! Beautiful restaurant & atmosphere! Amazing prices & quality!! 10/10 restaurants & bar! Parking was also easy in the area for a main road, as there is a pub over the road called The Stag which has a parking meter, and it’s fairly affordable! And we went to the pub first for a drink to register free parking! Thanks everyone we had the best celebration here!! X

Sunday roast dinner was amazing, so tasty. Plenty of drinks to choose. Good cocktails promotion on Tuesday to Thursday at 5 pm till 8 pm. Clean toilets. Nice atmosphere.

Great experience as always, brilliant food and the staff are brilliant especially Jack who had incredible customer service and I cannot complement enough!

I came today with my partner and we both got the Full English breakfasts and one of us got a normal tea and the other got an Earl Grey tea. The food was excellent and so was the quality and there was no grease on the plate at all which I have been told is a good sign. The food also tasted fantastic and was really high quality. Also the attendants were friendly, helpful and always around if you needed them.

Well... What an amazing place. Food was outstanding, service was great and overall a really good experience. Can't fault this place. Defo returning back. Value for money 👍. The most photos I've ever taken of food and gutted I couldn't fit in dessert.

The Holts Arms is fairly local to us. A traditional pub restaurant with a reasonable size car park. It's a good choice for eating or dropping in just for a drink. The menu is quite varied with some common favourites, including battered cod and homemade chips, to homemade burgers and steaks. Unfortunately, the steak wasn't available on our last visit, so we had grilled chicken skewers on nan (gluten-free), which was well prepared and full of flavour. The staff (and cook) went out of their way to accommodate a gluten-free option for myself. If you are coeliac then this pub is listed as gluten friendly rather than certified gluten free so they will prepare dishes with gluten free ingredients but it's prepared in the same kitchen as gluten containing food, so no guarantees, but I was absolutely fine with this arrangement. Recommended.

Everything about this experience was fantastic. Thank you to the team. Brilliant service, absolutely fantastic food. Peaceful and lovely environment. Had a lovely meal for family visiting from the lakes. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you again, we will be back again soon.

Can only comment on the proper chips, baileys hot chocolate and the service but all three were spot on! Proper pub hand cut chips - amazing sized portions Bailey Hot chocolates were lush just what I needed after a day without power And the service, the two ladies and one gent behind the bar were very accommodating of me needing to charge my devices, really lovely quick service. All in all, would return as the bill was a lot less than I thought it would be! Great prices

Great pub that I have not visited before. Lovely location, plenty of parking. Staff were great and food was lovely. I ordered the really dirty fries, really big sharer, the meat and the cheeses tasted great. My friend had the salmon that she also loved. Would highly recommend a visit.

I have just really enjoyed my second Tappas evening at this lovely place. The food is always excellent, breakfast, lunch, or evening, and the atmosphere is warm & friendly. Breakfasts here are certainly one of the best around. Very much recommended. 😊

Last night we had a private function here and the service we received was amazing! They were very helpful when initially arrived helping to decorate the venue, the service was friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. From start to finish the whole experience has been commendable. I would definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for somewhere to hold a gathering. Nice pub in the former Post Office on the corner of Church Street in Orrell. There are sheltered timber booths at the rear in addition to the internal seating. There is a good selection of beers, together with some bespoke cocktails in addition to the more normal ones. Food is also available if you feel peckish as well as Nobby's Nuts! Staff are very nice and welcoming, and the Copper Tap is a pleasant place to visit for a drink, plus live music on Saturday.

Fantastic little bar. Lovely decor, welcoming atmosphere and great selection of drinks. We booked the venue for a suprise birth celebration. Multiple booking options from private functions to open reservations. The team were very accommodating.

Went here for the first time today after a lovely walk and following recommendation from a friend. Food was delicious 😋 the only reason I've put 4 stars for the atmosphere is because there was hardly anyone in at the time we went. I would definitely go back 👌

We recently had a family celebration for a special anniversary at Divino. The food was wonderful. Everything we ordered was so tasty. There were around 20 of us, and the service we received was excellent. The servers were friendly and efficient. My parents were so happy with how the evening went, and I have no doubt that we will visit at Divino again soon!

Booked a table for 9 for a special birthday . Everything was set up specially. The service was very quick and professional. The food was amazing . I would definitely recommend coming here .

We went for the first time tonight, kids had pizzas and myself and my wife had the most amazing mouth watering steaks. They really were top quality and cooked to perfection. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and the service is top not we will be returning

Amazing service and perfect food. We love our every visit in La Sentidos Loca. Never felt disappointed. Today we have visited La Iguanas and all I must say.. Sentidos Loca is definitely our favourite!

Absolutely amazing food, went here on a whim after typing tacos near me on google. Did not disappoint, large portions and tastes amazing. If you like spicy food I suggest taking some hot sauce or asking for some as food is mild, but tastes amazing.

First time at La Sentidos Loca, and definitely won’t be the last, had amazing service as soon as we stepped through the door, sharing nachos to start with Cluck and Moo burger and Slow cooked beef tacos, all fantastically presented and delicious. Food is well priced with a good prices drinks menu . Absolutely worth a visit

I had the beef chilli tacos, and wow, the portion was huge! The tacos had melted cheese, beef chilli, radishes and pink onions, all three were full of filling. There was nicely flavoured rice on the side too, and a side salad. The soured cream dip was nice too, coming from someone who doesn't like soured cream! It was only £13.75; great value for money. Service was fast and staff were polite. Good atmosphere too: every table got a sombrero!

When you live in a small community like this after living in big cities you miss those special high quality restaurants you get in the city. This place is the exception to that rule! As you can see in my reviews I have been to a fair few well known pizzerias up here in the north west, for those that know the places in Manchester and Liverpool you will know places like Ruddy’s and Crust. This place competes and surpasses in so many ways. The dough / crust is just SO good. Not too dry, not to soggy. You can see the chef making it fresh to order and the pizza takes no more than 2 minutes to cook in some kind of specialised oven. The toppings are fresh and they are generous with their cheese! A MUST try is the garlic cheese bread. OMG. I can’t think of a place I have tried better. The steak they use is just full of flavour in the steak and Stilton and the Nutella calzone for those with the sweet tooth is one you won’t forget. The service team is really friendly and ordering online for collection was easy enough. At the back you can see that they have an area for you to take your four legged companions, I need to come back with Roscoe 🐺 It’s such a cosy place inside with really comfy sofas and chairs, be it for 1, 2 or 12 people. Orrell you have an envious pizzeria, topping it of it’s family owned and you can feel it. My new favourite pizzeria.

Best pizza in Wigan, hands down! Amazing food (lots of fab veggie and vegan options) and fast, polite service from the team. The restaurant was a little quiet, even on a Saturday night, but the music and food made up for it. Order the tomato and pesto garlic bread to start 🤤

Me and a few girls from work went for food and drinks on Thursday 1st August. They had a fantastic 2 course meal deal for £15.99 I think. We booked our table for 5pm we had a drink and poppadoms first then we orderd our meal. Food came quick. Food was really tasty and decent sized portion we couldn't eat it all. We had finished our 2 course by 6.10pm we ordered more drinks and then we got desert girls had ice cream I had Martini Espresso. Next thing we know it's 8.40pm. We had our food and drinks outside as the weather was really nice and we knew we would be loud with all the laughing we do. Was a fantastic night. So much so I booked our next visit before we left. Waiting on staff were fantastic really attentive up for a laugh and a joke with you. Especially Hasam who was really friendly and chatty.
