Great food. What can I say. Only had the ribs this time with the Bonochi Garlic Bread and it was fantastic. Definitely be back on Mother's Day. I just wish I had a bigger appetite so I could try everything on the menu all in one night........oh and the food is probably half eaten in the pics because it just had to be dived into and eaten. Thanks gals and guys. See you soon and again my compliments to the Kitchen/Chef.

The food here reminded me of a hug from my mom- warm, comforting and from the heart. I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Bonochi. When I arrived, it was almost closing time and I was the only one there but they still welcomed me and offered me the 5 star experience. The server was so friendly,sweet and attentive. The foood??!? OMG! Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had and one of my favorite culinary experiences in the UK to date. Like I mentioned, I was the only person in the restaurant at minutes to 10 (closing time) but the chef took his time. The meals didn’t look nor taste rushed. Everything was fresh, hot and flavorful! I absolutely loved it. 10/10 highly recommend

This was, without question, one of the best Italian meals we have had the pleasure to enjoy. We had wanted to try this small, local restaurant for some time, and tonight, we were only left wondering, why we had waited so long. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. When we arrived, there was a large party leaving, who went out of their way to tell us how wonderful the food was and that they had brought visiting family there especially. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and cannot wait to return. A real hidden gem!

Lovely cozy irish style bar just what stockport needed . Also have to say best pint of guiness had for a while. Very friendly service will most definitely recommend to anyone who likes a good guinness a good and good service 👍

Sorry Arden Arms, but this is the best Guinness in Stockport and £4.50/pint in an old style glass is a bargain. Kane the barman pulls a good pint. Sláinte

Third time we have visited Fold and we can not fault it. The food, wine and service is outstanding. The chefs are professional and willing to explain plates. The wine choices are superb and front of house staff are very welcoming. Our plan is to visit each season in line with the menu change. Well done Fold on you consistency and outstanding contribution to the local area. 5 stars!!

We went on Sunday and had the 3 course meal for £38 per person. We also added the oysters and they were fresh and tasty. The Manchester IPA beignet starter and that was a sensational starter. We then had the chicken and the beef roast. The Yorkshire pudding is the best I ever had. Atmosphere is really good and you get a really good service. Would highly recommend trying the roast.

We had our wedding here in August and it was truly magical! Every element of the planning for the big day, right up to the day itself was excellent! Ana managed the planning perfectly and it was so personable and professional; she knew exactly what we wanted and did everything, even down to sourcing flowers that matched our theme and decorating the restaurant perfectly. The food, as always at Fold, was out of this world. Jake spent hours making sure our menu was exactly what we wanted; bespoke and suited to us all. Everybody was blown away on the day with the quality of the food. The service was out of this world by all of the staff in the restaurant who couldn’t do enough for everyone, even the excitable children! Finally, Sean made sure our whole day was totally perfect, personal and truly magical! The best restaurant in Greater Manchester and beyond and the best location to celebrate our perfect day!

We went here tonight for our son’s birthday, we booked online which was really simple and received a lovely welcome. The food was really tasty and the service was fab. Really friendly and quick service. We would all highly recommend. Give it a whirl! 😋

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The atmosphere was positive, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The pizza and pasta were both delicious and served warm. I also enjoyed a delightful dessert. Everything was perfect! The dishes were served promptly, without any delays, and the prices were very reasonable.

First time trying here and it’s safe to say it’s now our favourite Italian in the area! Interior, vibe and service were all amazing and the food was incredible. I will 100% be coming back for the lasagne which was probably the best I have had in a restaurant. Also very reasonably priced. Very happy to have found this gem!

We recently visited Tara & Mare Italian Restaurant and were thoroughly impressed! It’s such a family-friendly spot, with thoughtful touches like colouring activities for our daughter. They even display the kids’ artwork, which made her feel so special and added a lovely personal touch to the experience. The customer service was outstanding—attentive, warm, and welcoming throughout. As for the food, it was exceptional. The risotto was beautifully cooked, and the Fillet Steak Rossini was absolutely divine—easily my favorite dish! Tara & Mare is a perfect place for a family meal or a special evening out. Highly recommended

Just had my birthday dinner here with my family; the food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very attentive, friendly, and quick to help. I'll definitely be back. Didnt get photos of the starters or mains as we dug straight in but managed to hold back on the desserts! Only marked down the atmosphere as the table behind us had 2 screaming children that didn't stop for the 2 hours we were there, after a certain point a polite mention of it to the parents would be worthwhile

Great staff and top quality food. We celebrated a birthday here and the staff looked after every member of out party, it was a relaxed service so no need to rush, the food was top quality and generous portions. One member couldn't finish the dush as it was very filling and the owner cane to ask if everything was ok, he was relieved to find out it was the portion size not the quality.

First time visit to what will be a my regular local. Warm welcomes from the staff and very attentive without being suffocating. The space is warm and intimate, nice interior. We ordered two garlic pizza breads, two mains and two glasses of wine = £62! You’ll spend double that in the city centre for food that isn’t as good in quality. I highly recommend the lasagne; the seasoning blend was mouth watering. Can’t wait to come back!

The Arden has a good reputation for it's food and deservedly so. £12.50 for a roast of this quality isn't common these days, and it's one that satisfies. The other options on the menu have never failed us either

Had visited over 5 years ago for food (excellent), and for drinks only 2 months ago (they don't serve food between 2 and 4.30). This time 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our range of mains & deserts. Service was great, the Dizzy Blonde fantastic, and didn't break the bank. Won't leave it as long next time.

We had a very fantastic experience at MangoMist and already been there three times now. The staff were very friendly and attentive. All the food we ordered were well cooked and presented with high standards. Absolute pleasure and satisfaction of tasting both authentic Indian and homely south Indian cuisines. And I must say, their signature cocktails and desserts were blissful. Planning to book our next work do at MangoMist. If you wish to enjoy or even try good Indian/south Indian cuisines this is one of the best in Manchester. Highly recommended!

Came for our 23rd anniversary - was lovely. Staff were fantastic and just the right amount of attentive. Food was delicious especially the salt cod balls!!!!! Everything was superb - lived and will return!!

Discovered this hidden gem while looking for a light lunch. We came with a dog, which was welcome on the curbside veranda. There are outside heaters, which were very welcome end of October, we'll make for the inside next time. Menu looks great, particularly impressed with the selection of drinks and cocktails and the fact there is actually Bermuda rum in the Dark & Stormy. Service was prompt and attentive. We had Tortilla chips with a delicious trio of salsas Chipotle black beans, which were scrumptious Smoky mushroom Tacos, very unusual, I liked them but a step too far for my daughter, who buried herself in Birria Tacos, which were excellent and she felt rivalled her favourite Don Taco's. In summary, we'll be back, definitely for Taco Tuesdays and after the sun is over the yard arm with serious intent for the cocktails.

Atmosphere was through the roof, service was impeccable and really lovely and the food was banging. We went on a cantina evening, the new dishes were delectable whilst the usual dishes were great as ever. Defo would recommend!!

I visited here a couple of weeks ago for lunch with my dad and a good friend. We had a lovely, but somewhat pricey meal. But would still dine here again as it was a great experience 👍 Service was fab; the Scottish waitress was a credit to the business. Food was well presented and tasty, but a bit on the expensive side. Restaurant inside was impressively decorated, clean and well looked-after. The restaurant is well situated on the corner of Shaw road, with plenty of on-street parking around and good transport links. We had starters of ribs, Caesar salad and pate. And seabass with 2 different pizzas for mains. All the food was great 👍 My only constructive feedback would be the need for a lunch menu, as paying dinner service prices at midday is probably why it was dead inside. So staff were standing around which isn't a good luck. We only went in to try something different 😊 A 2 courses for 14.95 offer would be much appreciated if at all possible. Apart from that my compliments to the chef and the waitress. Keep up the great work ❤️

Lovely decor, great food and staff are very attentive. The prices are reasonable. The pornstar martinis were great. The food had a lot of flavour and good sized portions. The manager was lovely. Overall would really recommend.

Lovely evening at the ‘Burbs celebrating our anniversary. Everything we ordered was delicious and we had great service from Roxy. She was really friendly and recommended an amazing creamy sausage tagliatelle special. We’ll definitely be back again - what a hidden gem!
