The best Greek restaurant I have visited in UK. Staff was very friendly and pleasant, service 10 out of 10. The food was incredible never had better lamb dish in my life , and also not expensive. Can't wait to go back

Nice new addition to Cheadle's high street. Staff all very friendly, food and drinks very nice and interior modern and welcoming. We had meatballs and the feta in tomato sauce to start, then the halloumi plate and chicken skewers for maim. All were lovely and portions generous.

Really top meal at Kalimera on their second night since opening. Staff were attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. After going to Greece in the summer it was nice to see proper Greek cooking and the shared grill was great value (and enormous). Nice that they give you free bread and olives on arrival too. Will definitely come back again.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The staff was so attentive and looked after our family party perfectly! We shared numerous tasty plates of greek style dishes, ranging from fried calamari,moussaka,mix grill and delicous cheeses to the perfect vegetarian plates.we watched meat being made and greek coffee being brewed-overall a truly wonderful experience

I didnt realise this place existed, but so glad we took a chance on booking in with a couple of friends. The food was excellent, service good, extensive wine list. Good parking. Highly recommend

Visited for food this evening. The setting for the restaurant is beautiful. Very cosy and feels elegant. The chairs were really comfortable and the table dressings and small touches really added a sense of class. Cocktails were very well crafted and delicious although priced quite high they really did deliver on unique taste and expert mixology. Everything we ate was delicious, the mains weren't massive but everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. The service was friendly and professional from Tracey, Izzy and Callum which all added to what was overall a really special experience. Would recommend and return in a heartbeat.

I don't often leave reviews but the Galloping Major most certainly deserves one! Myself and my daughter visited the Galloping Major for their tasting menu last week and it was fabulous! The restaurant is beautiful, the staff were very knowledge on the food and wine and made the experience very relaxed and enjoyable and the food was delicious! I cant wait to go back and try the afternoon tea!

From walking in at the front door we were greeted at reception with a very warm welcome from Amanda and shown through to the dinning room for our afternoon tea. We were Greeted by Lisa who showed us to our table. Such a lovely welcome. Nothing was to much trouble. Our afternoon tea was absolutely delightful. Lisa was very attentive without being intrusive.

1st time in a long time it's a 5 star for everything. Service was good. The place is clean and fresh, nice simple deco, no loud music. The food was excellent , lentil soup, humas and lamb for starters, chef special mixed grill and Janan Spicy chicken, Fattush salad for our mains. I will definitely go again.

A fantastic little restaurant, 10/10 food was absolutely lovely. Staff are very attentive and very polite. This was our first time here and we will definitely be making a return. They don’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own in the restaurant.

Visited for the first time today. I ordered the cold mezze platter and Adana kebab. Both dishes were beautiful, the Adana was amazing. Cooked to perfection. Freshly cooked bread and homemade chill sauce. What more could a person want… can’t wait to return. The chef and the lady serving were very nice people. I was even given a complementary cup of Turkish tea.

I enjoyed a birthday late lunch here on Saturday. I really enjoyed the food. Tasted really fresh and the meats were done really nicely. I liked the chilli sauce that comes with it. The kananfe desert was amazing. I've never had that before. Great host too, really friendly. This place is a gem!

I had the pleasure of dining at Cappadocia Ocakbaşı Turkish Restaurant , and it was an unforgettable experience! The traditional Turkish ambiance was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Adana Iskender—a perfect blend of flavors that transported us straight to Turkey. The tender, perfectly spiced Adana kebab was served on a bed of soft, buttery pita bread, generously topped with tangy tomato sauce and creamy yogurt. The balance of spices and freshness was spot on! The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re a fan of authentic Turkish cuisine, this is a must-visit spot. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Madge took four of us out for an afternoon treat at this fairly new Turkish restaurant in Cheadle (which has lots of competition, including two long established Turkish outlets.) Very good food. No alcohol served but I believe you can BYO. Had both the hot and cold meze plus a couple of mains, all shared. Chicken kebab and lamb ribs mains.) Authentic Turkish food. Very good. Well worth a visit.

We had our family Christmas Dinner here and it was brilliant. The service was fantastic and the food and wine were excellent. We chose from a set menu and all were really impressed with our meals. I will definitely visit again to enjoy some of the dishes on their regular menu. I hope they have some of the same desserts on offer. That Strawberry Cheesecake was phenomenal 🍓 🍰.

Lovely meal. Had the Sunday two course deal which was great value. Staff all very friendly and service was top notch. Would definitely return. The meze was lovely, Donner and rice was very tasty and the chocolate truffle desert was delicious.

We’ve celebrated our 15th anniversary there, and I was impressed with the service,food and atmosphere. The food was amazing,tasty and cooked to perfection. The drinks were great too,made by a very nice lady. Desserts-just wow!!!A big selection of desserts that you want to try it all. We bought the desserts and tried at home. I recommend the place!!!

Dined in the salt cave, which was lovely and nice and warm. Service was attentively, friendly, and attentive. All dishes ordered were tasty, and the Paella was packed with seafood. It was my sisters birthday, and they came out and sang happy birthday to her, which was a really sweet gesture. They even put a candle in her ice cream.

Fantastic restaurant, service and atmosphere incredible. Everything on their menu absolutely amazing and all of their tapas are to die for. Came in today with my Fiancé for Valentine’s Day. Every bite of what I had to eat was beautiful. The restaurant itself is stunning and was topic of conversation, unique and well finished. Both me and my partner had a fantastic meal and created a memory we can hold onto for the rest of our lives. Thank you.

Ate early evening on a Saturday with the two kids. Was relatively quiet when we arrived, which was great as we went to sit through the back section of the restaurant. Would recommend this if possible as it has a lovely intimate atmosphere with a low ceiling and salt stone walls. By the time we had finished dining, the place was pretty much full. The staff were really pleasant and attentive, and actually apologised for being short-staffed but you would never had known. Now to the food... Wow! As good as any tapas I've had in Spain. Our order included garlic prawns, meatballs, creamy chicken, chicken wings and the ham croquettes. It was hard to pick out a stand-out dish as all were absolutely superb! And another amazing thing was how fast the food came out, with everything being piping hot. Can't believe it has taken me so long to get round to trying this place! Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous food, love the vibe and decor. Only lost a star on service because it was very quiet when we arrived and we stood at the 'please wait to be seated' sign for a while before being noticed as member of staff behind the bar was on their phone and no other staff around. Someone then came out of the back and told us we could chose a seat. All other service fine. Hubby and I had tapas, all amazing and reasonable price. I’ve been here a couple of times now and I am still not bored. The food is always great, I’ve never really had to wait long from ordering, foods always great quality and hot. The atmosphere is lovely, very chilled and layed back. The staff are quick, efficient, friendly, they always have there’s eyes about and you never wait long for their attention. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food, we attended on the 50% off deal so what should have been a £93 bill was only infact £59. AMAZING ALL ROUND. Lovely little restaurant, atmosphere was calm service was wonderful really pleasant staff. Clean and tidy. Food was wonderful we asked for the steak to be cooked more, which was taken care off without issue. The costine was incredible i'll order them next time I go. The portion sizes are huge which was great.

It was very busy, so although we had booked we did have to wait at a bar table until our table was available. The prawn starter was just beautiful and my main the flat steak was cooked to perfection, my mum had the fillet seabass and loved it...we really enjoyed the food and the mocktails were good too! It would of been nice if they had made a little fuss for my mums birthday (it was that day) offered a free drink/dessert ir something like that but nevermind maybe they were just too busy to do that! It doesn't change that both myself and my mum would definitely recommend and would surely go there again next time we're in the area🙂

The food here was great - high quality pub options done really well. There were a few decent vegetarian and vegan options and universally popular offerings on the kids menu. There were some good ales on tap and staff were very friendly and attentive. We hadn't even noticed this place before but will definitely be back!
