Small hidden gem, cosy atmosphere. Staff attentive and quick service. We both had burgers, The Smoker & The Texan Show Stopper.....wow. The flavours of both were great, the portion sizes were spot on. Will be back, would reccomend to others.

Visited this place today. Google maps took us to the other side if the river so had to detour, was a bit tricky to find but when at the mill it is signposted. The owner was lovely, friendly and chatty. Cafe itself is a little hidden gem! Lovely decor and a great feel to it. Our food was cooked fresh and the flavours were bang on. Wil definitely return and off course recommend to all reading this! You wont be disappointed. Upon hearing about the homemade pies and sausage rolls he makes we was gutted he had none available. That just goes to show how popular they are!!

We have just been and had a breakfast also aloud us to bring our dog in. The breakfast was lovely sausages are next level and he even goes to the effort of making home made baked beans and they are yummy. Definitely be back, it's a little gem hidden away.

What a gem of a place! The food is excellent. Really good quality, cooked to perfection and served piping hot. The home made baked beans alone are worth a visit. Plus, the decor and Frank Sinatra soundtrack in the background give this place a great vibe. Definitely worth a visit.

This truly is a hidden gem and well worth a visit. We were greeted by Lek who had a wide smile accompanied with her warm welcoming and friendly manner. We were seated instantly and given crackers whilst our drinks order was prepared. The food was authentic, delicious, fresh and full of flavour. As it has been in our previous visits. It was nice to see Lek’s husband outside of the kitchen where he cooks. Presumably helping Lek who recently had a fall. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Lovely meal this evening. Came up from Essex to come back for the food! The no1 starter (satae chicken) is wonderful. Very tasty, good portions, beautiful presentation and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed it. Thank you

Great food, servers were great for checking we had everything. Sunday Roast was absolutely incredible as was the desserts. Only critism is that it was cold. The plates/ dishes were hot but sadly the food was cold.

Food was brought quickly and to a very high standard. I ordered a full English breakfast and my daughter went for the pancakes. I asked for no eggs or mushroom and an extra sausage and it was added with no issue, when it came I had 4 sausages and were of the highest quality, whoever grandads sausages they were made by deserves a high 5 as they certainly were quality. Was very impressed on my first visit and will definitely return soon. Highly recommended.

Excellent food but they desperately need a booking system. So frustrating having to just hope they have a table available and you won’t have to wait 20+ mins, hopefully gets addressed soon

A must-try! Located in Stalybridge’s up and coming town centre, SK15 is a perfect addition to the town’s bustling food scene. When you walk in, you are greeted by a palate of really pleasant light green, which gives you a calm feeling. There are booths, which are really roomy and nice to sit on. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, while the staff are really nice and enthusiastic. Drinks: If you order any drinks, check out the homemade raspberry lemonade! It is so invigorating and refreshing, a perfect feast for your tongue! It’s great to pair with Sunday Roasts (more about that in a minute). Starter: I ordered the Soup of the Day. I don’t remember the name, but it was some sort of tomato soup mixed with a warming kick of chilli. The soup itself was comforting with a spicy kick, and it was paired with warm bread. The bread itself was crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside - the perfect bread, great for soaking up all of the soup! It was also paired with nice butter, which was delicious. Sunday roast: Now, let me explain the roast. You have a choice of: - 28-day aged roast sirloin beef (served pink). - Garlic + Thyme roasted chicken supreme. - Slow cooked pork belly. All served with: - Garlic and rosemary roasted potatoes. - Maple glazed carrots. - Tenderstem broccoli. - Honey + mustard parsnips. - Braised red cabbage. - Carrot and swede puree. - Grandad’s stuffing. - Unlimited proper gravy! I ordered a few other sides as well: - Truffle mash. - Chilli Tenderstem broccoli. Now this roast is a must try. I ordered the chicken. It was nice and tender. The truffle mash was really smooth and buttery, the Chilli Tenderstem broccoli was crunchy and spicy, the carrot and swede puree is a underrated gem (one of my personal favourites - really tasty), the stuffing was unlike any other (you wouldn’t find this quality at Toby’s), the carrots and parsnips were tasty (a perfect contrast of sweet with the savoury Sunday roast), and the roast potatoes - mmm! So crunchy and flavourful! Dessert: For this course, I wanted to go off with a bang so I picked two desserts that I was really excited for. 1. Chocolate garden pot - Edible chocolate garden pot filled with dark chocolate ganache. 2. Glazed cherry cheesecake - A fruity cherry cheesecake coated in a dark cherry glaze, sat on a shortbread disc. Now these were delicious. Usually, if you order something with cherry in a normal restaurant, it would taste artificial and not very nice. However, the cheesecake was really light and refreshing. It tasted quite natural and really flavourful. Kudos to the shortbread as well. The chocolate garden pot was creatively presented, like a normal garden pot with a cute carrot on top. But surprisingly, every part of the garden pot (including the pot itself) was edible. The dark chocolate was strong so I added some cream and it was a game changer. The cream itself isn’t fluffy like whipped cream but smooth and silky, and it almost tasted like milk. In fact, I was eating the cream with my spoon as well, it was that nice! Overall, if you are looking for a good spot for a proper Sunday roast in Stalybridge, this place is for you! Our favourite Italian. And it so happens to be a 5 minute walk from where we live! Always fantastic food cooked to the exact same quality each and every time. The staff and manager are always friendly and helpful. Prices are justified and are reasonable. Also, offer Vegan options for my wife which is great. Thank you! See you soon

Amazing! We went last week and could not fault it. My only regret is not going sooner. The prawns and Carbonara were incredible - highly highly recommend! Very reasonably priced as well :)

Friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us as a couple, lovely atmosphere with excellent food especially the rag pudding. On Sunday it’s only a a Sunday menu but the chef didn’t disappoint, we will be back 😁👍

We often visit and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and high quality pub food. The staff are incredibly personable and welcoming and went out of their way to make our meal as enjoyable as possible. The last few times we visited the barman was a young lad called Kyle. He was an amazing host and a standout amongst the other staff. He knew the menu inside out and was able to make recommendations and answer questions surrounding particular dietary requirements. Alongside this he was bubbly, full of life and generally everything you could ask of a barman / waiter. He’s was a fun character who was able to engage conversation whilst balancing the other customers. I have worked in bars and provided table service, I was very impressed at how attentive he was to the bar, tables, and is how very customer focused he was. When we visit we look forward to seeing him and the high level of customer service is why we keep coming back!

Never had better service anywhere and the food was amazing!! In the words or Arnold "I'll be back!" Sorry for the lack of food on the pictures I ate it all and there were enough to feed a family of four!

The assistance was fast very nice and cozy! I loved how the waiter let me mix around their menu and made something very well! The meals were perfect and delicious and I loved the portion size and it was very hygienic!

Absolutely lovely place , the staff were welcoming and attentive without being over the top. The food was delicious, so much so we both ended up having three courses, we couldn't say no to dessert even though we were stuffed. We would definitely go back x

Tonight was our first visit to this restaurant, the service, the food, the atmosphere was fantastic. By the far the best food we have eaten in a restaurant in a long time. We could not believe how busy it was only just got a table at 5.00pm on a friday as we were leaving it was packed. A little gem and will be back for certain. Not the cheapest but the food was amazing 🤩

The tolly is a great traditional pub, large selection of drinks. Lovely setting on the canal, option to sit outside in pub garden, dog friendly and all round great pub

Nice little boozer (as they say). A good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Live sport shown if that’s your thing. An excellent quiz every week (Wednesday) and put together, with love by the host. A decent sized car park directly opposite but the train station at Mossley is close by as is the bus stop so leave the car at home and treat yourself to a drink in clean, comfy surroundings.

Didn't have food, just drinks, nice pub, nice atmosphere, very clean and toilets were exceptionally clean. Recommend

Actually visited for a private gathering and, seeing as I was driving, couldn't sample any of the fine looking/smelling real ales available. Host was excellent and the pub's facilities are great to. I enjoyed a lovely coffee, served with a biscuit. Immediate parking isn't great but I believe that you can use the nearby rail station carpark but check first. Better still, just visit, using the train. 🙂👍

Brilliant Place, we moved here around 6 months ago and its our favourite spot in Greater Manchester, and we between us have honestly lived everywhere. Just a great place to have a drink, better place when people are invited, perfect place for the atmosphere.

Just moved to the area and with a place like this on the doorstep, I’m glad I did. Quality venue, quality beer and quality service at a quality price. One of those places I don’t really want to rate too highly, in case too many people find out about it, but credit where credit is due.

Had food from the festive menu, lovely cafe, the staff are very welcoming and the presence is wonderful, the food is served hot and fresh, me and my partner tried for the first time a few weeks ago and now we go as often as we can, can’t recommend enough! ✨😁

Went in today and had our regular breakfast but also got the chance to sample the new pizza!!! They were absolutely amazing and compared to some of the best ones I’ve had in Manchester! Staff are all really friendly and helpful and remember you from previous visits! Can’t wait to go in again soon for pizza!

Lovely little tea shop in the middle of Mossley. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and could not have been more helpful. The food was excellent, very fresh and nicely presented. The scones in particular were delicious and the coffee really good too. Returned today to celebrate our sons intimate marriage with an afternoon tea. Bride and groom were made to feel very special. The table had been laid out lovely with pretty tablecloth and vintage tea service. We were rather early but it wasn't a problem and the staff made us feel very welcome. The afternoon tea was delicious and very plentiful with a great range of sandwiches and cakes. They had even got a wedding card for the happy couple. We will definitely be making another visit when in the area.
