The staff are amazing with brilliant customer service. The food is so tasty and the best Indian food I have ever ate. The atmosphere is amazing and the belly dancer is wonderful. Would recommend this to anyone and friends and family

Went with my fellow bootcampers and the food was delicious so tasty and Moorish. Price was reasonable and service too quality I would definitely go again and try the drinks they have on offer. Chef came out talked about the dish and what he’d done. Nice set up

Just eaten here and wow what a fantastic restaurant this is! My waiter Nandu was most charming as he waited on me during my visit. I had paratha, poppodums and a coconut cheesecake....absolutely scrumptious! Great vibes with trendy lighting where the ambiance was spot on. Can't wait to dine here again! Came here for the valentines day night. It was advertised for 6pm. From Facebook posts it looked like it was really busy after we went and had some pretty good entertainment on. If we had known this, we would have booked a table for later and stayed longer. Really nice food. Would love to see tapas type dishes/menu so we can try a number of different dishes. Would be really beneficial if on you could do a social media type menu showing what the food looks like with an explanation of what it is. I think this is a bit of a hidden gem that has great potential. I'll definitely be visiting again. Cocktails were really nice too, and great presentation of all food and drinks. Priced very well and would have spent more on tapas style dishes and drinks.

Very good service, and yummy food. I ordered 7-8 dishes from her for a party/gathering at my home. Very accessible and communicative, understood our requirements very well. Spices were spot-on as requested and food packaged and delivered very well. Highly satisfied with her service and will definitely recommend to everyone.

The service very nice and the food is delicious! It's very easy to place orders and coordinate pick up, as she is very responsive. The food is fresh and packaged with care so it stays warm. We will be ordering more often!

We’ve been here 3 times. So perfect time to write a review. All 3 occasions the foods been consistently good, great quality, lovely flavours - really authentic Turkish food.😋 The service on one occasion was very slow & waitress had no knowledge of the menu, luckily we were familiar with this kind of food but for someone new it could have been frustrating. The other two occasions service was great, table set, food served in a timely manner, waitress was actively listening & provided great customer service (the owner was present both times) & he’s a lovely guy. He’s very attentive & takes pride in his restaurant. I’d recommend this place. Enjoy x 💯

Elite food, elite service - the flavours cannot be explained honestly I love Somali food but this is probably the best I’ve ever tried. 🙏🏻

Hooyo Spot is a hidden treasure, offering some of the finest Somali cuisine I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The food is exquisitely prepared, with each dish showcasing rich, authentic flavours that truly stand out. The lamb, in particular, is superb—tender, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The accompanying rice is fragrant and beautifully complements the meal, while the sambusas are wonderfully crisp and flavourful. The portions are generous, and the staff provide warm, welcoming service in a cosy, inviting atmosphere. For anyone seeking quality Somali food, Hooyo Spot is simply exceptional in every respect. Definitely recommend it.

I never usually come to Bolton, no specific reasons why, i just don’t, but, as someone who does their research into the establishments they eat beforehand, i came across here. I’m all about trying new and often obscure cuisines, even as something as “Somalian”. Most people would scoff at the thought of eating such a thing. But i would beg to differ. I’ve been twice now, and the first time i came, i was so eager to come back for more it was that good. First things first is the establishment itself. It’s clean, not so much seating downstairs, but there is some additional seating upstairs if you are eating in. It’s most certainly lit up with bright lighting that’s for sure, although that’s not a criticism. As for the service, the chap for the first occasion was great and very helpful. He was the one that notified me about the upstairs seating. The second time round, the woman who served me was also good, as well. Overall, service was spot on 👍. (No pun intended) Now for the food…goodness me. It. Was. Good! I ordered the quarter chicken rice platter (i think it’s called), that comes with a side salad and 2 sauces for £6.50! That’s what i call value for money. When i got back and opened the HUUUUUUUGE box, i was amazed at the massive portion size you get, which i’m not complaining about, not one bit. And my giddy goodness the smell that wafted by. It’s like something i’ve never smelt before. Finally after much anticipation, i got straight into it. And my goodness, words fail me to say how amazing this truly was. The chicken with the grilled, charred texture on the outside and the soft and tender flesh that just melts off the bone, the fragrant and lightly spiced rice, the sweet potato fries i assume it is adds a nice texture, as well. The accompaniments it comes with, such as the side salad adds a fresh crunch, too. The sauces, in addition, adds both a spicy and smooth texture, giving the dish a good consistency. Overall, I have to say, this is quite possibly one of the best dishes i have ever had. I know it looks rather unassuming and some may say downright bland, but trust me on this. It packed flavour, it packed spice, it packed everything you could ever want or need. It was beyond words, quite honestly so. What these people are doing here is remarkable. Serving the local community affordable and absolutely superb food. Giving an alternative cuisine to what most people are used to eating, as well? I commend them on that. I can’t stress this enough, but if you’re are ever in the area, i would highly encourage you to come and visit Hooyo’s Spot. They are doing something really special here and I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out. Above marks on this place. 5/5

Had a lovely meal last night the place was very busy the food was delicious plenty to choose from we had chicken livers off the special with a lovely garlic bread with tomatoes onions cheeses followed by a great chicken main :)

Wow food was beautiful and homely and staff so friendly

Very tasty Italian food and reasonable prices. The carbonara was probably the best one I had so far. But if you don’t like oily food maybe seafood risotto would be a better choice. Overall, highly recommended for having a nice meal with friends and family!

As good as the reviews promised. Didn't rush home and treated myself to a dinner for one! Was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a mid week treat. Would 100% go back and bring friends, an excellent Italian.

Visited for the first time. One of the best steak houses we have been too. Food was absolutely delicious. The service we received was great a special mention to Ardy who went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend and will most certainly be back again.

We first visited Eat Meat in Bolton during an extremely busy period and were thoroughly impressed. Despite the high demand, the service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. What truly stood out was how well the team handled the pressure while maintaining outstanding quality. They even offered us a complimentary dessert on the house, which was a lovely touch and showed they genuinely care about their customers. Given our first experience, we decided to return, expecting the same high standard. However, they managed to exceed our expectations even further! During a quieter period, not only was the food even better, but the service was phenomenal. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and once again, they offered a complimentary dessert, reinforcing that their hospitality isn’t just for busy periods—it’s part of their ethos. It’s rare to find a place that delivers such consistent excellence, no matter how busy they are. 17.01.24 Though we arrived a bit late we were seated prompted and offered a high chair with a 5 point safety harness. Having scanned the table QR code menu our theatrical mock tails arrived swiftly along with tap water for the little one. Place was busy, a Good Friday night vibe. 54 minutes later our main course arrived ( we skipped starters). Bone marrow was delicious: you could taste the lime. 2 piece of canon of lamb and a sirloin were cooked perfectly pink, though a hot stone was provided for anyone who preferred their steak well done.fries, peppercorn and mushroom sauce were adequate. Good presentation on the food. On a few occasions we asked for other things (salt, extra straw) which came swiftly. Dessert were delicious too. This was my second visit to the Bolton branch having visited the Manchester restaurant many times before. One of the managers Ayden? Was knowledgeable about the menu and gave good recommendations. Small niggle- service was slow. From placing the order to food on the table 55 minutes.

Very nice plate to eat out with vegan/veggie options. Quiet atmosphere with only a few tables so be aware of this if you have big family or prefer talking louder at your meals then this may not suit you, however they mostly do takeaway options so this may be why. Staff were friendly enough but fairly average service they seemed exhausted and didn't want to ask you how your day was or what they could do for you etc. sushi platters a bit more expensive than other places, presentation is decent though

As a HongKongers, we had a lot of authentic Japanese cuisine in asia and Japan. I would say their foods were amazing (and authentic)and by far the best sushi in here. And staff were super nice and friendly, kept smiling on their face even they were super busy. I ‘ll definitely visit again and recommend to my all of my friends as well: )

Absolutely would not hesitate to go again. From the food to customer service, I can not fault the entire experience. There was a small amount of seating available which was clean and well presented, the staff were brilliantly helpful and so welcoming, and the sushi was delicious. This was my first time trying sushi as well, but they had such a good variety, and it was so clean that I definitely think it makes the experience more enjoyable. The katsu chicken curry and spicy chilli chicken noodles were top. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Really pleasant lunch in Bolton. Good food and reasonable deal. We enjoyed the tapas dishes and the tiramasu pudding too. The service was excellent y the male Portuguese born waiter and his female colleague.

I've been here twice for group Christmas meals. The menu is varied with something for all tastes , portion size is good, staff are friendly and helpful, restaurant decor very nice. The set menus are very good value.

Excellent food would go again and highly recommend they do lovely cocktails aswell as food and the waitress was also lovely who served us nice little spot in Bolton town centre it cost us nearly 80 for what we had and one drink each but we did go on a Saturday they have offers on in the week so if you didn't want to pay as much but want lovely food then I would recommend going on a week day . I did think it was worth the price we paid to be honest I didn't have one complaint

The food was amazing. Service was really good. Restaurant was nice and clean. You need to book in advance as they are always fully booked, with good reason. Photos are of the garlic bread starter. Calamari, lamb kebabs, garlic prawns, chicken wings, ribs, chorizo and cheese and Brie. All freshly cooked, tastes amazing. 5 star review. I will definitely be back.

Jus finished our meal and it was first class delicious! Had our Baby who has a milk allergy and nothing was too much trouble- he loved the option especially made! Delicious and would highly recommend!!

Great food, amazing service, and lovely people. Had a great meal at the Royal Balti. The staff were very welcoming so friendly, and all the food was cooked exactly how we wanted it. It tasked great as well.
