This is my first time I've eaten such a delicious food in this area, very Good food, clean shop and good service.

The staff members were very knowledgeable about the food and provided fantastic suggestions and there was a guy called Jason he was very nice and polite so I would definitely recommend this shop to have a go at.

Fabulous outstanding service with a very reasonable price

First visit here on the suggestion of a friend. We could not fault it. The food was delicious with a wide selection of food on the menu. The service was outstanding. The staff couldn't do enough for us. It is quite rural however and so it means one of us had to drive, but it was nice to be out somewhere a bit different. Update: I returned with my other half tonight. We were seated in the bar but we found it to be too noisy with people and a couple of dogs barking at each other. We asked if we could be moved from the bar into the restaurant, which they were able to accommodate, though we were given a time to leave the table, but it was 2 hrs after we turned up and there was plenty of time to eat 3 courses!

Wonderful pub classics cooked well, offering what feels like a premium dining experience, but at very reasonable rates. Whoever the chefs are at this place need a pat on the back. It might seem like a rather unasssuming location but it's well worth travelling to for the cosy atmosphere and excellent food. The staff were very friendly and were very swift when it came to bri ging drinks and meals. Cannot fault the service at all.

First time here ,lovley place friendly service vast menu i ordered a lamb madras garlic rice and chapati it was excellent portion size excellent, only thing was the bowls the curry were served in a bit cheap looking! But food was lovely cint wait to go again!

An excellent choice for Indian cuisine and very good value. Visited Sagar on a Sunday evening and opted for the Sunday Buffet and it was excellent value at £12 per person. There was a choice of starters and mains and they all tasted really good, especially the lamb. Cobra lager and IPA on tap. Nice interior and attentive staff, really can't go wrong.

We had a lovely meal here tonight at the Sagar. It was our first time following a recommendation the family. The restaurant reception area was lovely, clean and spacious where we had drinks and time to look through the menu and order. The dining area was just past the reception and was a lovely space to eat. The food arrived and we were generally all happy with the curries we had ordered, nice favours, nice chilli heat but the chicken tikka on one dish was dry, although very tastey. The saag rashum rice was delicious - worth a try if fancy a change from regular pilau. Chips were proper chunky chips aswell which is nice to see. The chapati and nanns were ok.

Delicious Italian food, with attentive service and a pleasant ambience We dropped in, last minute, and were made to feel very welcome. As it was a week night, there were unbelievable offers on three course meals. We couldn't help but indulge. Each of the three courses was delightful. We started with mouth-watering garlic bread, half cheese and half tomato. Then we had the paté of the house and calamari, both well-presented and delicious. For mains, we had pollo al pepe and a seafood linguine. The sauce for the chicken was sumptuous, especially good for dunking bread and chips! Pannacotta and salted caramel cheesecake were served for dessert and they were totally lush! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and couldn't fault a thing. What a lovely little find, we'll definitely be back. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely loved the whole experience from start to finish. We didn't book and it was busy and they found us a table really quick, all of the servers were polite and friendly and the food was amazing !!! Really good chicken and a nice side of veg and potatoes... Definitely a 5* and I can't wait to come back next time I'm working in the area 💯

Amazing place to come for great, flavourful Italian food. Came here for the first time last week and we had some truly good food, that tasted very authentic and was excellently made. We had the three courses for a set price option, which in some places reduces your choices for what to have but not here, the options are wide and varied and every taste is catered for. The starters were nice, I had the soup of the day (tomato) and my partner had the breaded mushrooms. It was the mains that stole the show though, I had the chicken breast in peppercorn and cream sauce which was gorgeous! I had the mixed vegetables as my side and all together made a truly lovely meal. My partner had the chicken stroganoff and she was blown away by it, even as far as to say it was the nicest she’s ever tasted! Compliments to the chef indeed. Deserts, again were very, very nice indeed, I’d highly recommend the cheesecake myself. We went on a Friday night, so as you can imagine it got busy, very busy. The restaurant itself is quite compact and a lot of tables have been put in here, so you do sit quite close to your fellow diners. It is close, but not close enough to become uncomfortable, there’s just enough space. The staff are highly attentive and serve you quickly whenever anything is needed. The food and drinks come quickly as well, you don’t have to wait long at all and all empty plates and glasses are cleared away quickly. Even though your orders come swiftly and plates go as soon as they are empty, you never feel rushed at all and as stated, the staff are very helpful, professional, polite and always serve you with a smile, it’s simple things like that, that make dining here a must. I’d highly recommend coming here if your craving good, hearty authentic Italian food.

Nice place this, food was very nice. I can recommend the calzone. The garlic bread with cheese was a great start to our meal. We were well looked after and we finished off with a really nice coffee. We'll definitely be back, lovely smart decor and cozy feel with a large bar and plenty of seating in the restaurant and bar area.

The staff greeted us excellently and were very helpful. We ordered whilst we waited to be seated. The steak i found was excellent. If I had to find a fault, I would say either drop the prices slightly or increase the portions sizes as my wife's chicken breast looked like it had been sliced in half so they could get another potion out of it . Her desert was a tiny portion. It gave us something to laugh about.

As a first time visitor on Bank Holiday lunchtime, I have no complaints. Everything, and I mean everything was faultless. Lunchtime table for two as a walk in, staff welcoming, waiters and waitresses very polite, attentive. The service was fantastic. The food was superb. A starter, two mains, two desserts and a drink for less than £35 pp. Absolute spot on. We will return for a nice evening meal and a few glasses of wine without a doubt

Best pint of Guinness I’ve had! Brilliant bar staff, lovely owners. Absolutely cracking place. Bringing back cask and the pub to its full glory. Since Helen took over the pub is now absolutely buzzing.. it's clean it's back to how the pub should be!

Very nice atmosphere lots of interesting things to look at inside old historical pictures funny quotes bar memorabilia. Friendly staff plenty of room and corners for your own space. Lots of selection on the bar also and customer toilet too. Car park at back and decent outside sitting area. Also several screens with sports on. Very good

The most amazing pub, we stayed in the area for a few nights and this was the local pub. Staff are super friendly and helped us find local places to explore. Highly recommend popping in for drinks or food. Lovely atmosphere. Also dog friendly !!

Lovely staff - good food . Would have been 5* but the asparagus and oarma ham - turned up with no poached egg - was returned with a fried egg?@"# really -chef was out of order with that !! Other than that, good food at hood prices - with good service to boot ! I'm happy to recommend-but watch for the egg !!

We went to Tipico for my daughter's 9th birthday and we had a lovely time. The staff were really friendly and the food was really good/tasty! I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant! Lovely atmosphere and very clean.

I recently had the chance to revisit a restaurant that had a bit of a rough start during my last visit, but I’m so glad I gave it another shot! This time, Alison was absolutely fantastic. She really turned our experience around and went above and beyond to make things right. From the moment we walked in, she was warm and welcoming, and you could tell she genuinely cared about our experience. Alison took the time to listen to our concerns from the previous visit and made sure to address them. She even recommended some amazing dishes that truly showcased what the restaurant can offer. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so much more inviting this time around. Thanks to Alison’s exceptional service, we left feeling happy and satisfied. It’s clear that this restaurant has the potential to shine, and I can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend!

The Cherry Tree do the best Sunday roasts!The gravy is so rich and tasty, it just makes the meal! Perfect for a Sunday treat. The barn has been extended significantly outside with weather canopies to keep the rain off. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and decent parking although it does get VERY busy at weekends and holidays.

Visited yesterday on first sunny day in ages. After long, long walk up and around the Pike we were very ready for what the cafe had to offer. Despite being really busy, staff were lovely and polite, service was surprisingly quick and efficient. As for the food - delicious!! Excellent value for money as well as being top quality. Thank you for a lovely experience to finish off a lovely walk 😊

A return visit to the lower barn cafe. A busy spot where on occasions parking can be difficult but today was fine. There is seating inside and out however we chose to sit inside. Plenty of seating available and a good menu. The menu changes and there is always a specials board. The food is very good and served quickly. Toilets are in the next building and inside there is a small shop selling local goods. Some beautiful walks on n the area so a good spot to start and end.

Had the most wonderful evening at this restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed staff are really nice. Food is amazing. Food is a mix of Mediterranean. We all chose steaks which were cooked to perfection. Portions are huge! Sticky Toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever tasted. Well done guys I’m so glad this place was recommended to us.

Fantastic food, restaurant is beautifully clean and was so atmospheric for Valentines Day - even left a free rose to take home on the tables. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Excellent range of menu choices. The meats are all high end and well cooked. Vegetarian options available, all very healthy and flavoursome. Very impressed and will be back again.

Absolutely love this place. The sharer T-bone is simply unreal. Lucky to have a place like this so local.
