First time here ,lovley place friendly service vast menu i ordered a lamb madras garlic rice and chapati it was excellent portion size excellent, only thing was the bowls the curry were served in a bit cheap looking! But food was lovely cint wait to go again!

We've ordered takeaway from Sagar a few times and we really like the food - the best we've tried in the area, never much of a wait. Would be nice to have paneer as an option for all the curries to cater to vegetarians more.

We had a lovely meal here tonight at the Sagar. It was our first time following a recommendation the family. The restaurant reception area was lovely, clean and spacious where we had drinks and time to look through the menu and order. The dining area was just past the reception and was a lovely space to eat. The food arrived and we were generally all happy with the curries we had ordered, nice favours, nice chilli heat but the chicken tikka on one dish was dry, although very tastey. The saag rashum rice was delicious - worth a try if fancy a change from regular pilau. Chips were proper chunky chips aswell which is nice to see. The chapati and nanns were ok.

An excellent choice for Indian cuisine and very good value. Visited Sagar on a Sunday evening and opted for the Sunday Buffet and it was excellent value at £12 per person. There was a choice of starters and mains and they all tasted really good, especially the lamb. Cobra lager and IPA on tap. Nice interior and attentive staff, really can't go wrong.

Excellent. Was hoping it was good after moving home. Out new local. Friendly staff, food was extremely tasty, light, not greasy. Will definitely go again. Poppadoms, 2 naan, onion bhaji, chicken garlic chat, chicken pakora, saag rice, lamb Rogan Josh, chicken tikka masala, 4 beers, £63.
