Love this place, great 🍺 beer, fantastic staff, and a friendly atmosphere

Cask ale served a bit too cold, well below the correct temperature. The food was wonderful.

Great bar with loads of beer and cider. Plenty of beer that is brewed on the premises for you to try out. Food is available on the weekend and it gets quite busy but not too bad.

Decent beer. Can be a bit samey. Nice bar with good beer garden front and back.

We had a table booked for 9 of us as someone with experience in the food industry trying to serve 9 ppl at the same time can be challenging, but they made it look so easy, waiting on staff were exceptional very silver service. I ordered sausage and mash with seasonal veg. My meal was beautiful. Top quality ingredients. Pub food but fresh ingredients and superbly cooked. I then ordered dessert and a Irish coffee. As pictured above. The menu doesn't do the food justice in my opinion. Food menu looks like pub grub but it was as good if not better than some of the top restaurants we have eaten in. We will be going back very soon

First visit here on the suggestion of a friend. We could not fault it. The food was delicious with a wide selection of food on the menu. The service was outstanding. The staff couldn't do enough for us. It is quite rural however and so it means one of us had to drive, but it was nice to be out somewhere a bit different. Update: I returned with my other half tonight. We were seated in the bar but we found it to be too noisy with people and a couple of dogs barking at each other. We asked if we could be moved from the bar into the restaurant, which they were able to accommodate, though we were given a time to leave the table, but it was 2 hrs after we turned up and there was plenty of time to eat 3 courses!

Came for a celebration with my husband and children. Lovely place, looked lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was that the service charge was automatically added to the bill, we would tip anyway but felt like it should be a choice thing rather than it being made to look mandatory.

We had a great time at Las Iguanas. We went for the £15 tapas deal. Would highly recommend the experience - food was lovely and the portions were fab. We’ve knocked a star off because there was no hot honey cheese and this is what we were both most interested in so that was disappointing. Staff were fabulous too, all of them, but especially our server Vanessa. Thanks.

We had a fantastic experience at Las Iguanas in Bolton! The service was exceptional – friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. I came for my birthday and I had the best time! It was my first time coming to this restaurant, and it definitely won’t be my last - this is my new favourite place! The food/drinks were amazing quality, the staff were so friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect.

The Cherry Tree do the best Sunday roasts!The gravy is so rich and tasty, it just makes the meal! Perfect for a Sunday treat. First time visiting. The place is stunning, and the food was absolutely delicious. Wasn't rushed with the table during a peak time over Christmas. The staff were really good. This place is a must.

Went for a meal with my best friend as a last minute catch up. Walked in and was instantly greeted by Halliah. Had a smile on her face the moment we walked in, sat us down and served us throughout. Our trip to Wagamama was amazing! We decided to go as a family to try it out together and it was worth it. The food was sweet and delicious as well as the drinks! Staff were super kind and our food came very quick. I will definitely come here again if I have th3 chance to. 5 Stars 🌟 🤩

I was taken there as a treat for my Birthday today.My daughter and son in law and my eldest son travelled from York and Sheffield and had asked me to chose a place for lunch.I have been to various places for a meal in the past, most of them have been a much of the sameness.I am not one for chain restaurants. I had heard some good reports about Nicks in the past My daughter booked online for the 4 of us I can tell you the food was fantastic! the service was great as well as the atmosphere. I was really surprised when it came to desserts, when out blasted 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' and then I was presented with strawberry and ice cream topped with a sparkler! I must admit that I blamed it on my daughter for arranging it, she said she hadn't, but on the booking it asked her if we were celebrating anything, she answered 'dad's birthday' Although I felt very embarrassed, it was a really nice touch added to the service,and one I won't forget in a hurry! All in all a great experience, I really can't wait for the next time they visit so we can come again. Nicks is definitely the place to go!!!

The most gorgeous food as always and top notch service. Would highly recommend the ribeye steak and king prawns,a real treat. Thank you Nick and the team. We can’t wait to come again.

I'm giving Nicks at Turton Goft Club 5 stars despite not actually eating there. We'd booked in but it was the evening that it snowed quiet heavily so only some of us reached it as it's situated on the tops in the open, and as it continued snowing we decided to leave and re- book. However, the menus looked great, see attached photos, and Nick himself greeted us and offered to drive us to the back to the restaurant if we wanted to leave our cars at the end of the lane, however, we declined as not all of us have made it there. Nick was very warm and friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be booking again.

Partner & I ordered the Greek Meze Banquet quoted on their website "Meze is food for sharing" wow alot of food from dips, cheese, meats, fish & stews. Could not pick my favourite it was all delicious & the service was excellent, waiter was very knowledgeable & recommended which food complimented each other. The decor you could really feel you are in authentic Greek restaurant. Next time we will try a main dish 😋

This place never fails to impress. The food choice and quality is superb. So well cooked and very tasty. Atmosphere is authentic and cosy. Staff can’t do enough to accomodate, really friendly. Toilets immaculate and well stocked for ladies needs FOC. Would recommend. Fantastic restaurant!

Sokrates taverna took us back to Greece, I felt this was an experience and not just a fantastic meal. Amazing service and the staff were so attentive. No rushing and freshly cooked mezze, catered for vegetarians and no ask was too much. that special dessert topped the night off. Thank you to the chef and the staff for such a lovely Saturday night.

It's difficult to find authentic Greek food when you're not in Greece... this was delicious! Worth the 90min round trip 👌 Food was delicious, service was exceptional, we asked for certain plates to be plain for the kids which they did. Was just brilliant. 🧿 Eftharisto!

5* across the boa4d. Went Thursday lunchtime, table for 6 of us, ordered Sea Bass, Burgers Gammon and Smothered Chicken. Didn't have to wait too long, served piping hot, delicious and filling. Good menu too. Great, prompt and courteous service. We would return.

Wonderful!!! Sat in the restaurant part, close to the roaring fire, perfect for a chilly winter's day. The service was impeccable and the food was top notch. Good portion sizes as well as incredible quality on starters and mains, unfortunately didn't have room for dessert. This was our first time here, but definitely looking forward to going back and sampling the outside area when temperatures allow.

Me and my husband went for a meal here tonight. Wow what can I say! The food was absolutely delicious, very tasty and fresh. We opted for the 3 course menu option. The staff and new owner were very welcoming and friendly. We will most definitely be back. 100% recommend this restaraunt you will not be disappointed.

Been to Leo’s twice now as recommended by a friend and cannot fault. The food was delicious and service is great, a little slow when busier but that can’t be helped.

Just been in for a lovely meal with family. Very busy as Good Friday but service was quick and the meal lovely as usual. I tried the Donner kebab and it was one of the nicest meals I've had. Very good ,fresh and good value for money. I will be back to have again very soon , staff lovely and cheerful , see you soon , ( Monday when I bring the hubby to try it )

Very impressed. Called today for lunch with a group of friends. Was impressed with the Christmas decorations which adorned the whole place, must have taken a long time to get them up but, tastefully done. The staff were pleasant polite and helpful. Good food choices on the menu and despite the place being busy the food, lots of different choices, arrived quickly and was piping hot. Prices were good too! Overall, a very positive experience and I look forward to returning!

Large pub with large free car park. Couple of disabled parking spaces next to front door. Plenty of outdoor seating available. Pub has a lovely atmosphere and is DOG FRIENDLY! They even have free dog biscuits on the bar! Staff were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful, couldn't ask for more. Toilets were clean and well equipped. Food was delicious and is reasonably priced. Lots of choice and lots of offers available. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Called for a lunchtime meal in early December with a work colleague to find a beautifully presented, warm environment which was the next best thing to a Christmas grotto; the place was really lovely! Staff were helpful with swift service too. We enjoyed our starters and main meal: tasty soup and roll followed by fish and chips/scampi and chips. The fish dishes were really nice with glorious, crispy chips! We came away well fed and happy to call here again!
