Called for a lunchtime meal in early December with a work colleague to find a beautifully presented, warm environment which was the next best thing to a Christmas grotto; the place was really lovely! Staff were helpful with swift service too. We enjoyed our starters and main meal: tasty soup and roll followed by fish and chips/scampi and chips. The fish dishes were really nice with glorious, crispy chips! We came away well fed and happy to call here again!

Large pub with large free car park. Couple of disabled parking spaces next to front door. Plenty of outdoor seating available. Pub has a lovely atmosphere and is DOG FRIENDLY! They even have free dog biscuits on the bar! Staff were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful, couldn't ask for more. Toilets were clean and well equipped. Food was delicious and is reasonably priced. Lots of choice and lots of offers available. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Very impressed. Called today for lunch with a group of friends. Was impressed with the Christmas decorations which adorned the whole place, must have taken a long time to get them up but, tastefully done. The staff were pleasant polite and helpful. Good food choices on the menu and despite the place being busy the food, lots of different choices, arrived quickly and was piping hot. Prices were good too! Overall, a very positive experience and I look forward to returning!

Just been in for a lovely meal with family. Very busy as Good Friday but service was quick and the meal lovely as usual. I tried the Donner kebab and it was one of the nicest meals I've had. Very good ,fresh and good value for money. I will be back to have again very soon , staff lovely and cheerful , see you soon , ( Monday when I bring the hubby to try it )

The best Sunday Roast I’ve had in a very long time! A generous portion of roast beef cooked to perfection. Roast potatoes crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Tasty red cabbage like my mum used to do. Huge Yorkshire pudding. Delicious gravy. Yummy mashed potato. Even the sprouts tasted good (and I’m not a fan of sprouts 😂). Excellent value for money. Didn’t have to wait long for it either, always a bonus! Thanks so much. We’ll be back.
