Fab customer service from Paul and Michelle who provided service with a smile. Had a hankering for fish and chips and was not disappointed food was delicious. Highly recommended

I recently visited Harry Ramsden's Express at Salford Quays. Initially, I was a bit hesitant, knowing the place has changed ownership several times, but I was craving classic fish and chips and decided to give it a go. After browsing the menu, I chose the £12 Fish and Chips Special, which included fish, chips, peas, and a cup of tea. The staff informed me the fish was haddock and kindly asked me to take a seat while they prepared it fresh, estimating about five minutes. When the food arrived, I was slightly disappointed by the portion size of the fish. However, I needn't have worried – the quality more than made up for it. The haddock was deliciously fresh, with a crispy, perfectly seasoned batter that made every bite enjoyable. The chips, peas, and tea complemented the meal well, and the addition of tartar sauce brought the total to £12.39, which I felt was good value for the quality. All in all, it was a satisfying meal, and I would definitely consider coming back for another craving of fish and chips!

Brilliant service from Michelle and Paul, 2 people who make you feel welcome and put their heart and soul in into their job.. and you can tell, the food was absolutely delicious! Perfect light batter on meaty flaky haddock and chips so fresh and clean they were to die for! Harry Ramsdens always hit the spot with their recipe in my opinion and this place is a real gem!

Paul and Michelle were lovely, it was busy yet they were very efficient! The food was hot and fresh and the service was great! This is my second time here and both times everything was great!

We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, especially since it has a high rating of 4.8 on Google. The starters were a pleasant surprise—very good and creative. However, the main courses were a bit of a letdown. The cabbage tasted good, but the core was bitter. Unfortunately, the steak was dry and overcooked, even after we sent it back (we had ordered it medium rare). Overall, we wanted to give this place a higher rating because it seemed like a hidden gem, especially for the price. We’ll need to come back another time to see if it was just an off night.

Arrived during lunch hour and it was no problem to have lunch without a reservation. Very friendly and professional staff. The have a nice selection of wine by the glass and the bottle selection is also really good. Foodwise I can say that every dish had wonderfully balanced ingredients of high quality. Some of the dishes (artichoke and cabbage with mussels) were magnificent. A must visit when you want wine and dine on a high level in Manchester.

Still my favourite place in Manchester. From the hospitality and welcome to the absolutely incredible food! Complex but approachable cooking with sauces to die for. Each dish is immaculate and full of flavour with superb presentation. The guys here are just going from strength to strength, every visit they somehow keep getting better. Inventive drinks offering with local suppliers and natural wines. Front of house is relaxed and attentive but the stars of the show are Julian and Max the chef/owners whose welcome and conversation is the best you will get anywhere in the city. Wether it’s on the chefs table or being served one of their dishes they truly make every meal a special occasion. Absolutely loving what these guys are doing and with the challenges of the venue size they are smashing it out the park. Go and visit Exhibition too in Manchester where they have a kitchen serving incredible flatbread based dishes called Jaan.

For only a small restaurant this place packs a punch. They made my partners 40th such a special experience and looked after us so well. With gorgeous seasonal food that is so intricately put together I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Perfect brunch spot with a beautiful interior. Excellent Bloody Mary, and the loaded waffles were delicious, shout out to the sausage patties. Great service and experience overall.

We love vintage ambiance. I used to visit here a lot a few years ago, but hadn’t visited again until recently and I was very surprised. Me and my family went for the first time again a few weeks ago and we have returned every weekend since. Their iced coffees are so delicious. We haven’t had chance to try too many of the breakfasts yet, but the pancakes and scrambled egg with chorizo are both gorgeous. The staff are lovely and friendly.

Wow!! The vegan Singapore Laksa was absolutely incredible!! It was recommended to me and I would come back to get it again! The starter of broccoli, the vegan prawn crackers and the cocktails were all lovely as well, but we were stuffed afterwards. Thanks to Mayuresh for the excellent service that evening. 5 stars!!

The food is so tasty and hot here! I got the salmon and it was very very tasty! The service was fabulous, very smiley and professional from Barry. I wasn’t drinking and it was lovely of him to offer me a different drink when all my work colleagues were having shots! Would definitely recommend coming here :))

Outstanding Service & Delicious Food at Banana Tree Salford I had an amazing dining experience at Banana Tree Salford, thanks to the exceptional service from Mayuresh and the delicious food prepared by Gage. Mayuresh was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The food, prepared by Gage, was absolutely fantastic—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight, and it’s clear that Gage puts a lot of passion into his cooking. A big thank you to both Mayuresh and Gage for making my visit so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning soon and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Southeast Asian food and top-notch service!

We had lovely dinner with our family first time in Banana Tree. All was brilliant food and atmosphere. Thank you Daniella for warm welcome and excellent service. I ordered Fudge cake, pad tay and starter all well presented and tasty. Definitely come back again

Great service. Our waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable. She was an absolute diamond. Fantastic food, sat in a super spot with lovely views. The whole place was comfy, clean and well maintained. All the staff were happy and friendly. 5 stars.

Great cocktail bar, went for food and drinks before a show, service was brilliant to start but as it got busier we weren't able to get attention of our server. When they were with us though really friendly, attentive and helpful! Food was brilliant and the cocktails are to die for! Amazing show cocktails, magic as they call it! Also gorgeous view of media city if you sit outside, perfect on a sunny day!

Steven the General Manager was super helpful. It was great to see him mucking in and taking orders etc. Just how a GM should be. Miles was great and looked after us brilliantly. A brilliant bar, fabulous atmosphere and wonderful cocktails. Will definitely be back

Came for my work's christmas party. I was initially very nervous as upon checking the allergens, I found out I was allergic to almost everything on the menu. The server and kitchen were very accommodating and I managed to order what I fancied with the kitchen making it allergen free. The aubergine curry was the best curry I've ever had! I got a colour changing mocktail that had great novelty value. I thought it tasted awful but my colleagues loved it, so don't take my word for it. The outdoor area is on the waterfront and has a wonderful view, as well as covering and heating for when it's cold. Definitely make sure you give this place a go

I am here because the shisha was priced at £10 and we were able to share it between 3 people which was cheap and cheerful. It had a great atmosphere and the customer service was great too. I came from London so it was a nice place to socialise with my friends. The parking was around the corner for £5 for 2 hrs.

Best Shisha lounge ever. If you find yourself in Salford you should visit this lounge. The service was top notch. The food was so so nice. I kept ordering more wings and shrimps and the cocktail glass is quite big.

Came in on a Saturday late afternoon, was plenty of seating. Staff were super friendly, assertive and provided great service. Food was absolutely amazing, the Ottoman mixed grill was perfect. Will certainly come back again soon!

I had a lovely experience at Ottoman Restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable, especially Vaqqas, who was so friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic, with the chicken kebab being a standout. To top it off, the kunefe dessert was the perfect ending to the meal. Thank you so much for your great service! Highly recommend!

Today, we decided to try this wonderful Turkish cuisine restaurant for lunch, and our experience exceeded our expectations. As soon as we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, making us feel right at home. We chose to sit in the garden, and the staff immediately turned on the heaters to ensure our comfort. These small but thoughtful details showed how much they value customer satisfaction. As for the food, everything we ordered was absolutely exceptional. Both the presentation and the flavors were unforgettable. We were particularly impressed by the freshly baked homemade bread. It’s rare to find such natural and delicious bread, which made us truly happy. After the meal, the Turkish coffee and tea service was a very pleasant surprise. The coffee was perfectly brewed, and the tea was freshly steeped and fantastic. This restaurant, which offers traditional Turkish cuisine so successfully, is a place we are eager to visit again soon. With its warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food, I highly recommend it! Don’t miss out on this experience you won’t regret it!

Nice spot to sit outside, we came for a midweek lunch and it was pretty quiet. The staff were attentive and friendly and everything came out quickly. For 2 we got scratchings, charcuterie, cheese, croquetas, fried squid, stewed rabbit and patatas bravas, then also caved and got dessert. This was massive overkill! If I were to go back, I would not get the pork scratchings, which were a bit bland, and the patatas bravas which were not very crisp and also a bit bland. Everything else was lovely however, especially the selection of meats, the rabbit and the tocino de cielo (though a half portion would be more than enough!). On balance, though very enjoyable, I found this quite overpriced coming in at £40/pp. I'm surprised there's no midweek lunch deal, and think that would be a hit.

I’m so happy to have found Porta a few years ago, and now it’s my favourite tapas in Manchester. :) The staff are lovely, the food is tasty, and I love the atmosphere there. :) Most recently I went and had the good fortune to be met by Ellie who was so kind to find me and my friends a super comfy table as soon as one became available and help us move from our high table. We also met Harry, who was really attentive and told us all about the menu. He also had great energy! :) I would highly recommend eating here if you are ever in Salford. :)

Excellent food. Excellent vibes. Excellent service. We tried some 10 dishes, my favourites: 1) the quince and cheese dish. Just phenomenal 2) Padron peppers were solid 3) Loved the tomato salad The meat dishes were really good too. My favourite was the Iberico slices (pink), followed by the Chorizo and then the chicken. That said though, these are the priciest options so could drop them if you’re interested in trying more food. The patatas bravas were okay. My least favourite was the confit peppers.

Such a gorgeous authentic tapas place! Food was stunning, the sangria is a must and the olives are to die for! Staff were all super lovely & service was 10/10! Can’t wait to come back ☺️

Other half had been here with friends and was impressed, so had to visit. Staff very friendly and remembered other half from last visit. Had garlic bread between us for starter which was half cheese and tomato, also a main and dessert each. Other half had a special on at the time Beef Wellington, said was lovely.

Had a great night. Cosy atmosphere, I love the music! The food was amazing, the pasta was homemade and really savoury. Big portions too. The owner was so accommodating and very kind, the staff members were friendly. Thank you, will definitely recommend. Such a superb restaurant that you should not miss when you visit Manchester.

This is my favorite restaurant in the WORLD! I simply like the food and atmosphere there! I have been living in Italy for a year, but damn I love this place, it is more tasty and vibrant! Francesco and Beppe are warm and enthusiastic, make you feel so sweet! My favorite dish is the aubergine, it tastes unreal! And the cocktails are special and enjoyable!

since we have discovered this place, we just cannot stop ourselves from coming back again and again. we have invited friends to visit this place from a different city, and they have agreed that it was absolutely worth the drive. food is always fresh and authentic. it sets us back to our visit of Oporto. staff is very friendly and helpful. Casal Garcia vinho verde is to die for! we cannot recommend enough this place. it's a true gem of whole Greater Manchester postcode! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing restaurant Amazing service We had a lovely time at Meu Portugal celebrating my cousin's birthday! The staff were very attentive and friendly. The owner and the lady serving us made sure we were looked after made our evening fun and enjoyable. We loved the delicious food, traditional Portuguese food same as you would get in Portugal. We definitely recommend to everyone to go and visit you will not be disappointed Obrigado :)
