Absolutely brilliant company. Brilliant design, worked from pictures I had and then brought in new ideas to make my pergola and bench seating. Fantastic service, great design & workmanship and even fixed my front door.

SB Builders recently built a single storey extension for us. From the minute we got them involved with the project, everything ran smoothly. Unexpected horrific dodgy conservatory floor, we'd booked Gordon to fit 6 internal doors, but he looked at the floor - totally rotten. Unphased he worked so very hard redoing the whole thing & took all rubbish away! Unexpected but he was brilliant, booking him now when possible to fit the new laminate. As for our internal doors, wow, worked like a trooper & fitted all 6 in 1 day they're beautiful. He's a joy to have doing your job, a total professional, dedicated, attention to detail, you know you'll have a fab job! He also calms you down should any unexpected horrors crop up! Not phased he sorts & stays until done. Can't recommend him highly enough. Laminate to be fitted & guttering looked at. He's also a really nice guy, a genuinely rare gem. Very friendly and helpful. I explained what I wanted to build to raise my TV and that I didn’t have tools to cut the wood. Was lovely and cut each piece to size so I could take them home, sand and stain them and built the raiser - job done. Thanks so much and I highly recommend this lovely and helpful business 👍😀

Phil is both an excellent craftsman and a great communicator. He sticks to his word, delivers on time, makes sure everything is understood and the customer is happy and will not cut corners - a true professional with attention to detail and a passion for his craft. We tasked him with a complex, multifaceted, awkward cabinet build. Aside from all the normal challenges of fitting fridge cvabinets into a tight space, we also had to run our business around the work schedule and the cabinet doors had a complex cnc pattern on the front that continued across all faces meaning very little room for error or trimming. Phil fitted everything perfectly and got all patterns to line perfectly. Phil is a rare gem, can't recommend highly enough.

I reached out to Phil with a loose idea of a custom art cart I wanted done for the museum and I also had ideas for extra features...however, I had never seen an art cart on the market with a built in table and did not know how that would even work. Very quickly and in conversation with me, Phil designed a bespoke art cart with all the features and even a beautiful and natural design (with safe for museum objects finishes). He was very attentive and considerate of my ideas and how it would be used. And, it is beautiful and really sturdy, too. Very excited to use this with visitors and all the staff are very excited by how professional and functional it is. Highly recommend, Phil!

I had the design in my head, I went to his workshop (gorgeous woody smell) with off cuts of oak (recycling important), Phil brought my design to life, used my off cuts and crafted a tactile, strong, elegant frame ready for me to upholster. Alpeng is a brilliant handyman in every sense. Works briskly but with great attention to detail; very courteous and considerate; follows the brief accurately; and is reasonably priced. So far he’s built a playhouse to a high standard (when he offered to go above and beyond to improve my paving base too) and done a number of handyman tasks like mounting a TV, installing curtain rails and shelves.
