I am very happy with the work from Shelterstone Carpentry. Karl was a top joiner, he fixed my sliding door that was poorly fitted by another contractor. Given the bad condition of the existing door, he did a great job and now it looks so much better. The workers were competent and professional.

My experience with this team was excellent. I asked for a bespoke fire surround with quite a specific look. The finished job is better than I’d hoped for. I would highly recommend Manchester Carpentry. I recently had underfloor heating installed and needed the manifold to be boxed in to stop it getting damaged and to make the area look tidier. Arj responded quickly, came out to measure promptly and gave me a competitive quote. The work was done within a week to a high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Manchester Carpentry again for any future work.

I reached out to Phil with a loose idea of a custom art cart I wanted done for the museum and I also had ideas for extra features...however, I had never seen an art cart on the market with a built in table and did not know how that would even work. Very quickly and in conversation with me, Phil designed a bespoke art cart with all the features and even a beautiful and natural design (with safe for museum objects finishes). He was very attentive and considerate of my ideas and how it would be used. And, it is beautiful and really sturdy, too. Very excited to use this with visitors and all the staff are very excited by how professional and functional it is. Highly recommend, Phil!

Phil built two lecterns for us to use at Graduation ceremonies, he was extremely detailed and great at communicating to ensure that the design and build was exactly what we needed. Phil is both an excellent craftsman and a great communicator. He sticks to his word, delivers on time, makes sure everything is understood and the customer is happy and will not cut corners - a true professional with attention to detail and a passion for his craft. We tasked him with a complex, multifaceted, awkward cabinet build. Aside from all the normal challenges of fitting fridge cvabinets into a tight space, we also had to run our business around the work schedule and the cabinet doors had a complex cnc pattern on the front that continued across all faces meaning very little room for error or trimming. Phil fitted everything perfectly and got all patterns to line perfectly. Phil is a rare gem, can't recommend highly enough.

We've recently had our downstairs living space redeveloped by SB builders (NW) Ltd. During the completion of the work Sam & Ben kept us fully informed of the progress and planned next moves. We had to lose the kitchen whilst the work took place, they did however ensure we has some cooking and washing facilities throught the project. Their level of workmanship was if the highest standard, they also ensured the area was left clean, tidy and safe at the end of their day. Alpeng is a brilliant handyman in every sense. Works briskly but with great attention to detail; very courteous and considerate; follows the brief accurately; and is reasonably priced. So far he’s built a playhouse to a high standard (when he offered to go above and beyond to improve my paving base too) and done a number of handyman tasks like mounting a TV, installing curtain rails and shelves. We’ve just had Dan sort out damaged flooring on our landing and refurbish kitchen worktops. He did a superb job, arrived when he said he would and was a pleasure to have in the house (he’s dog friendly). I’d recommend him to anyone needing joinery skills and I’m sure we’ll be using him again.
