We really liked the work we saw on Dave's website and asked him to quote for replacing our mahogany staircase with a new oak and glass one. From the first contact with Dave and Katherine, we were impressed by their knowledge, professionalism and clear commitment to create something that would have an immediate impression and be the centrepiece of the hallway. We are so glad we chose them to do the work because the end product is stunning. The process from quotation to completion was highly professional and stress free. They kept us informed throughout, Dave and Jason arrived when they said they would, worked with amazing drive and focus throughout. The quality of their work is superb. They are highly skilled and worked quickly taking almost no time for breaks, even for brews! At the end of each day they cleaned up impeccably so much so that apart from the changes happening you wouldn't have thought any work had happened, they left our hallway in such an excellent condition. The toughened glass took just over a week to arrive and they fitted wooden panels where the glass would go to make the staircase safe until then. With visiting small grandchildren that was important and much appreciated. We have now exactly the staircase we wanted and we love it. The price was fair, the workmanship outstanding, and the communication throughout first class establishing trust and confidence. We would recommend Dave, Katherine (and Jason) with out any hesitation. And we we will certainly use them again for future projects. Our best experience involving major work without a doubt.

We're recently planning to move house. Since my mum brought a range of her china sets back from Pakistan. There was clearly no space, where we could put our china sets. After doing some research, I've looked online and looked at the work David Gill did in terms of his joinery and was really impressed with the work. Despite them being based in Oldham, David and his wife Katherine came over to the property in Manchester and provided suggestions and designs based on where to place cutlery cabinets in our dining room. Once they provided the suggestions and colour palette for the wood being used, they kept in regular touch with my younger sister based on the overall quote and measurements. David and his colleague assembled the bespoke cutlery cabinets and fits perfectly both sides of the fireplace, whilst matching to the dining chairs. I'm really pleased with how David and Katherine took into consideration that my older sister has a muscle disorder and applied cabinet handles that my sister is able to pull in case she needs access to any china sets. David gave us clear recommendations on how to maintain the cabinets for longer periods of time. Overall, I'm really pleased with the work David and Katherine carried out. In future, we may be looking to have more bespoke furniture done and will not hesitate to contact them for support!!! Thank you, David and Katherine!!!! 👍😊 Isa, Raeha and Family.

Highly rated and brilliant job from David. We’d been designing and thinking about plywood storage for a few years and David gave us a competitive quotation. He was on time, professional, quiet and methodical, also a self confessed perfectionist. He was also polite, pleasant trustworthy and clean. David have some clever ideas and also listened to our ideas during installation as we altered some bits and pieces. He also suggested removable shelving and importantly designed and built a section to house our washing machine and boiler, which will still allow us to service or remove them easily by removing some of that section. Overall, if we could give 10 stars we would. If you need a skilled cabinet maker, defiantly give David serious consideration when looking at options. He’s 20+ years skilled in shop-fitting and cabinet making so should be able to do most challenging jobs, as was ours.

David installed a cupboard in our bathroom. His work was excellent and we asked if he could make a bespoke wardrobe in our bedroom. Attached are the photos of the completed product. David is clearly an expert in his field with great attention to detail. The wardrobe couldn’t have been better. Thank you to David and Katherine, they’re a very reliable and professional couple. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to all our friends.

Ian was great - did exactly what he said he would do to a very high standard, was always on time, very reasonably priced, friendly, etc. Basically all the things that you hope for but rarely manage to find! Ian replaced handrail, baserail and spindles. Probably a small job for Ian. Very professional from the start as I wanted different quotes. On the day arrived first thing and did an excellent job we are really happy with the work and end result. Would highly recommend and use Ian again.

Honestly can't thank Jaque and his team enough, bespoke joinery work is expensive wherever you go to, so I made sure we checked TJS's work out before hand. They had nothing but glowing reviews everywhere, their work they completed in our house goes to show why. The communication with them from the start was professional, straight forward and really easy going. From the start of the job being completed, they think of everything in terms of ensuring your house is protected whilst the work is complete, they are willing to go the extra mile also which really matters to us. I will post some work they did for us, the first two were planned jobs (bespoke landing cupboards for wasted space storage and to cover the boiler) & (Bespoke shaker style cupboards to fit the room) and we were that happy with them, we came back to them to make us a bespoke bedside draw/table for our small farm style cottage house. I’ve been really impressed with Tailored Joinery Solutions. We had this bespoke staircase designed, made and fitted replacing the old Victorian style spindles and we are really happy with the work. Jaque is very professional, reliable and good at communicating and is quick and tidy with his work. He has also fitted a new PVC front door, several oak doors, new window pains that had blown, and we have booked him to fit a new kitchen, so as you can see he has been back a few times!! I would highly recommend him.

Jaque did an excellent job, making and fitting two cabinets on either side of the fireplace. He totally grasped my brief ('Victorian but not too fussy') and got the style just right. He was also very inventive when it came to providing neat, concealed entrances and exits for various wires. He carried out the fitting very professionally and was exceptionally tidy, friendly and polite. Highly recommended.

What can I say Jordan has done an absolutely amazing job for us , worked closely with us throughout in terms of making our somewhat quirky design choices come to life. The finish is exceptional, probably better than we could have imagined. Great communication throughout the work and left the place as tidy as when he started. I would without a second thought heartily recommend Jordan's quality workmanship to anyone (even though it may mean a bigger wait for our next project..it will be absolutely worth it.) Jordan designed and built cabinets, shelving and desk space for our home office. He had good ideas for the use of the space, his workmanship was high quality and he was very professional. My personal favourite was the space for our coats & shoes! We were so pleased with the results and would recommend him for similar work.

Can’t rate Jordan’s work and communication highly enough. He has absolutely transformed our lounge with the shelving he has designed and fitted (requested a larger base to support our tv and he managed it without it looking monstrous). Everyone that visits is wowed by the work he has done. It was such a pleasure to deal with Jordan, that I asked him back to redo my sons wardrobes and shelves. Again impeccable, speedy work with great comms. He’s also just a really friendly, genuine guy.
