Kevin did a great job in fitting new kitchen work tops, new sink, gas hob and extractor. His tiling above the work tops just finished off a great a job that transformed my kitchen to look like new again. Price was competitive and work clean and tidy. I would certainly use his services again.

I had to replace new worktop Kevin did the job at reasonable price. good thing about Kev is he always picks up the phone when you need him. Kev has done a few jobs for me now - a full kitchen rip out and new one installed, joinery work including new door frames and doors. He's also done some other smaller jobs for me, as I'm useless at DIY. Kev is the first man I call now - friendly and professional service! I highly recommend!

Sam and his team undertook a garage conversion for us and replaced some internal doors. They did an excellent job and the quality of workmanship is first class. Sam coordinated the various tradespeople brilliantly and the work was carried out within the stated timescales. The team are polite, courteous, professional, hard-working, and very tidy and punctual. We're delighted with the finished outcome and Sam and his team are highly recommended.

Sam, the Ben's and the rest of Sam's merry men have done an OUTSTANDING job of our very complicated conversion! Not the easiest garage conversion, having a wedge shaped detached garage that needed to be bought forward to attach to the main house, taking off the leaking flat garage roof and replacing it with a pitched roof that needed to join to the main house... and not to mention the different ground levels involved!!! Sam was spot on with his communication, his attention to detail was second to none as were the rest of his team. They were courteous to have around (and I kinda miss making them brews and stocking up the biscuit tin)! In all, we are absolutely thrilled with the result and cannot recommend S R Bell Carpentry and Building enough!

Jordan is not just a fantastic craftsman but is polite, punctual and reliable. Turns up when he says he's going to and keeps you updated if there are any schedule changes. He's done a couple of jobs for us now and we are delighted with the results. Would absolutely recommend him.

Can’t rate Jordan’s work and communication highly enough. He has absolutely transformed our lounge with the shelving he has designed and fitted (requested a larger base to support our tv and he managed it without it looking monstrous). Everyone that visits is wowed by the work he has done. It was such a pleasure to deal with Jordan, that I asked him back to redo my sons wardrobes and shelves. Again impeccable, speedy work with great comms. He’s also just a really friendly, genuine guy.

Used twice for custom shelving in cupboards, really reasonable cost and great work.

My experience with this team was excellent. I asked for a bespoke fire surround with quite a specific look. The finished job is better than I’d hoped for. Also, the care Stewart took when installing it was meticulous and showed how much pride he takes in his work. And rightly so. Photo to come soon!

I wanted to replace a metal Suffolk latch (the type you buy from DIY stores) , on a garden gate, with something better. I am so glad I found this company. Friendly, helpful advice. The Suffolk latch arrived very nicely packaged, with full instructions, a few days after placing the order. The quality craftmanship is excellent. The latch looks good, feels good and makes a pleasant sound when used. It really makes a difference to the gate, from a functional item to a decorative one.

I placed a bespoke order for an oak hook plaque on the 8th, it was made and posted on the 9th and I received it on the 11th. So speedy, but the quality is outstanding - solid oak, evenly and beautifully cut and engraved and the fittings are top notch! The artist/crafter was super-responsive to my requests and questions and the packaging was all recyclable too. Overall, a unique and beautiful, functional piece of art for our home!

Absolutely excellent garden shed. We went for the log cabin effect, and to say it's wonderful is an understatement. It's really well constructed, looks stunning, and the poor guys got very wet installing it for us, thanks to the great British summer! Absolutely brilliant. Contacted conquest and enquired about a shed to fit into a tight space. Shed is excellent quality and built brilliantly. The whole shed is solid with no flex. Roof can support the weight of being stood on. Building of it took a couple hours and the guys were really good and got on with the work. Definitely beats ordering a typical shed from amazon instead get conquest to custom make the shed you want and professionally fit it at your property. Solid work and have already recommended conquest to a neighbour who are looking to get the same shed after seeing how well it has been made and put together.

Adrian has just completed a job for us - he has fitted 5 internal doors to a very high standard - he was very punctual, clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble and he suggested that we put a door on the opposite way which now makes the room twice as big. Quality work, extremely tidy and punctual. Got 5 oak doors hung, handles cut in, all the bits and bobs fitted and stained, and also one door flipped to open the opposite way; all done in a single day!
