Kevin has just finished fitting new kitchen worktops and worktop lighting for me and I can’t recommend him enough. From start to finish he couldn’t have been more helpful and is so easy to communicate with. Mine was not an easy job but he managed to solve any problem that came up and discussed solutions with me along the way. The finished result is perfect as he works to a very high standard. His price was very reasonable and I could not be more delighted. I have no hesitation in recommending him to friends, family and colleagues. I won’t be going anywhere else for future work. So, if you want someone who has excellent skills, is reliable and not overpriced, then look no further - Kevin is the obvious choice.

Kev has done a few jobs for me now - a full kitchen rip out and new one installed, joinery work including new door frames and doors. He's also done some other smaller jobs for me, as I'm useless at DIY. Kev is the first man I call now - friendly and professional service! I highly recommend!

Kevin did a great job in fitting new kitchen work tops, new sink, gas hob and extractor. His tiling above the work tops just finished off a great a job that transformed my kitchen to look like new again. Price was competitive and work clean and tidy. I would certainly use his services again.

Fantastic job from Mark fitted my doors and arkitrive cleaned up afterwards also came out short notice when I had a new floor fitted and the door needed trimming very polite I was that I.pressed I recommended mark to do work for my son who was over the moon with his work will definitely use him again

We first used Pearsons Bespoke Carpentry to fit two bespoke cupboards and shelving units, picture rails, skirting boards and door architraves in two downstairs rooms. Mark’s a very skilled craftsman and his attention to detail is second to none. He kept us informed throughout his work and every day tidied up after himself. We’ve since had Mark back to hang two doors and he is due back to fit a PVC coal shed door in the coming weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark for any joinery work you may require undertaking. Five stars every time!

Mark fitted a beautiful composite decking. The service was fantastic always on time, polite and friendly but the workmanship was of a very high standard. Nothing was any problem he always checked at each stage that we were happy. It looks amazing looking forward to using it over the summer. I would most definitely recommend Mark.

Quality work, extremely tidy and punctual. Got 5 oak doors hung, handles cut in, all the bits and bobs fitted and stained, and also one door flipped to open the opposite way; all done in a single day! I wanted to replace a metal Suffolk latch (the type you buy from DIY stores) , on a garden gate, with something better. I am so glad I found this company. Friendly, helpful advice. The Suffolk latch arrived very nicely packaged, with full instructions, a few days after placing the order. The quality craftmanship is excellent. The latch looks good, feels good and makes a pleasant sound when used. It really makes a difference to the gate, from a functional item to a decorative one.

We really don't know how to thank Mike. Giving a 5* review just doesn't seem enough. Mike did work on our staircase few yrs ago & he was so meticulous, we said we would NEVER look for another joiner. We decided to have a new kitchen a good while ago, but due to his backlog of work due to the Pandemic we were happy to wait, not once, did we think about finding a different joiner. We're SO happy we waited. He's come up with a few tips & ideas to give us more space, which the kitchen company who planned the kitchen didn't. He came up with a great idea to make the hob area a feature- it looks fantastic! He has gone above & beyond our expectations. He is so courteous, never leaves without tidying up, no matter what time it is. He only has another day here to go, but really wanted to put this review on. Will update with pics when finished. So good, we've had him twice!! A good tradesman is hard to find when it comes to knowledge, capability, enthusiasm for the job, and value for money. Mike delivers on all these areas, and discusses each stage of the project to deliver (in my experience) beyond what you would expect. I have had Mike in my house twice this year. Once on a major refurbishment project, which transformed the core section of the house : Hallway / Stairs / Landing, and included : completely replacing the front door and frame, entirely replacing the banister, constructing an under stairs storage area, lowering and insulating the landing ceiling, and replacing most of the doors & frames in the house, plus fitting all the skirting boards. We planned to sell, but feel so at home that we asked Mike back to remodel our third bedroom, which involved constructing a loft bed in a very confined space, which now feels spacious! If you want someone to turn your vision into reality, without breaking the bank, look no further.

I couldn’t speak highly enough of Sam and his team in the completion of our garage conversion. Sam was thorough throughout from the initial quotation to organising all the workmen needed, it really felt like such an easy process with him guiding us through. There were no hidden costs, we paid exactly what was quoted. Sam and Ben were extremely polite and friendly and always involved us in decision making with the build. The standard of the work is absolute quality and I would not hesitate to use again for any other jobs we may require. The kids love their new playroom, thankyou so much!

Sam, the Ben's and the rest of Sam's merry men have done an OUTSTANDING job of our very complicated conversion! Not the easiest garage conversion, having a wedge shaped detached garage that needed to be bought forward to attach to the main house, taking off the leaking flat garage roof and replacing it with a pitched roof that needed to join to the main house... and not to mention the different ground levels involved!!! Sam was spot on with his communication, his attention to detail was second to none as were the rest of his team. They were courteous to have around (and I kinda miss making them brews and stocking up the biscuit tin)! In all, we are absolutely thrilled with the result and cannot recommend S R Bell Carpentry and Building enough!

I am very happy with the work from Shelterstone Carpentry. Karl was a top joiner, he fixed my sliding door that was poorly fitted by another contractor. Given the bad condition of the existing door, he did a great job and now it looks so much better. The workers were competent and professional.

My experience with this team was excellent. I asked for a bespoke fire surround with quite a specific look. The finished job is better than I’d hoped for. Adrian has just completed a job for us - he has fitted 5 internal doors to a very high standard - he was very punctual, clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble and he suggested that we put a door on the opposite way which now makes the room twice as big. Can’t rate Jordan’s work and communication highly enough. He has absolutely transformed our lounge with the shelving he has designed and fitted (requested a larger base to support our tv and he managed it without it looking monstrous). What can I say Jordan has done an absolutely amazing job for us , worked closely with us throughout in terms of making our somewhat quirky design choices come to life. The finish is exceptional, probably better than we could have imagined. Great communication throughout the work and left the place as tidy as when he started. I would without a second thought heartily recommend Jordan's quality workmanship to anyone (even though it may mean a bigger wait for our next project..it will be absolutely worth it.)
