Andrew has just installed an oak and glass staircase for us. From the outset, he was professional and efficient. His price was fair. The staircase is fantastic!! We had decided it was time to have a new staircase fitted after a very long and stressful three years of home improvements. We found Medlock Staircases online having read the many great reviews and thought we would give them a try. I have to say the entire process of the guys being on site, very punctual and professional, down to earth and easy to communicate with made us feel at ease and extremely comfortable with the entire process. Even when we had many questions about the staircase and design options we were pleasantly surprised that this family run business had so much knowledge, being a family run business it was very apparent that the work ethic and passion is what makes them successful. The project took around a week and a half for two flights of stairs, in oak and glass, wow the before and after has really added character to the finishing touches of our home. The team worked professionally and the conclusion of the job was very neat, precise and tidy. I would highly recommend to use Medlock as my first time experience has been very pleasant. Will hopefully be using them again at some point. Myself, my wife and children are extremely grateful and overjoyed with the final product. Thankyou

I contacted Able Joinery via email, and they replied promptly. Karl arranged a visit. He arrived on time, listened to my requirements, took pictures and notes. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. I accepted the quotation and agreed a date for the work. The work included minor repairs to double glazed windows and door, refitting internal doors, replacing blown double glazed unit, replacing broken letter box, supplying and fitting replacement door handles to existing doors and providing and fitting two new internal oak doors. Luke, Arron and Jamie who did the work were very polite, friendly and efficient and respectful. They cleaned up after the work was completed, and ensured I was happy with all the work. I am absolutely delighted with the work. I can thoroughly recommend Able Joinery and all the staff. Thank you

Able Joinery fitted a couple of composite doors for some outbuildings a few years back and I've been so pleased with the doors over that time that I asked them back to replace the front door to the house. The entire process from start to finish could not have been more efficient or professional. Five stars to Karl and the team. Great communication, turns up when agreed, sound advice on options to consider, and timely ordering and fitting. Great price, great service and couldn't be more delighted with the new front door. From the moment of meeting Andy to price our job we knew we would be in good hands and couldn't wait to start our extension. From start to finish both Andy and Ryan just couldn't do enough. There was no such things as a 'silly question' and all our ideas were taken on board and they could be achieved they were but if not Andy and Ryan could come up with an alternative or something generally better. I have never met more professional, friendly, hard working trading men. We were actually sad to see them leave when the build was done. Ryan did return though to fit our new kitchen, which was again done with an eye for detail and treated just like it was his own kitchen being fitted. Words truly can't describe how happy we are with our extension and kitchen, it's now our favourite room. Andy and Ryan have been the builders I’d always hoped to find before we started our two-story side extension. We’ve lived near and walked past lots of extensions that took months longer than they should. Where people were lazing off every time you walk past. From the start Andy gave us a solid time frame and worked overtime to keep to it as much as possible. My wife and I aren’t always the easiest clients, sometimes asking for alterations during the job, and these were always acted upon and carried out to very high standards. This is all in addition to being one of the most competitive quotes we received. A great, friendly, helpful father and son duo with an army of tradesmen in all areas that, over the years, they have amassed from trusted, high-quality workers. Can’t recommend them enough. If you’re stuck deciding on who to go with for your extension, just go with A&R. Absolutely no regrets in our decision.

We are thrilled with all of the work Andy, Ryan and his team carried out at our property. Andy supported us through the whole process, beginning at the planning stage. We could never have imagined how much more space we’d have and how fantastic the end result would be. We are overwhelmed by how great it looks. Andy and Ryan have actually done two jobs for us: first they replaced an old conservatory with a small extension, then we were so happy with their work that we asked them back to do a full two-storey extension. Both times they've been extremely helpful, accommodating, professional, given very competitive quotes, and worked very hard to an excellent standard. They're genuinely nice guys who care about their work and they've both been great in terms of flexibility too, e.g. Andy did some extra joinery work in one of our bedrooms and supplied and fitted new internal doors which weren't in the original plan, and Ryan came back after our extension was built to install our utility room cupboards, including working on the weekend to get it done it time. We also really appreciated their advice on various occasions where we were stuck deciding details of the build. We couldn't recommend them enough, and would happily have them back for a third job if we had one!

We first used Pearsons Bespoke Carpentry to fit two bespoke cupboards and shelving units, picture rails, skirting boards and door architraves in two downstairs rooms. Mark’s a very skilled craftsman and his attention to detail is second to none. He kept us informed throughout his work and every day tidied up after himself. We’ve since had Mark back to hang two doors and he is due back to fit a PVC coal shed door in the coming weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark for any joinery work you may require undertaking. Five stars every time!

Mark fitted a beautiful composite decking. The service was fantastic always on time, polite and friendly but the workmanship was of a very high standard.
