From the moment we walked in the door, we felt very welcomed by the staff and ambience! Definitely suggesting sitting at the kitchen bar if you would like to chat with some great chefs. The scallop and tomatoes were a standout for us, unreal. The wine list was really approachable with some good natural gems. Every dish was explained perfectly, and having chefs drop dishes was a great touch. Chef Max made the experience one of the best we've had in England with some great conversation. We will be definetly be back and spread the word!

Arrived during lunch hour and it was no problem to have lunch without a reservation. Very friendly and professional staff. The have a nice selection of wine by the glass and the bottle selection is also really good. Foodwise I can say that every dish had wonderfully balanced ingredients of high quality. Some of the dishes (artichoke and cabbage with mussels) were magnificent. A must visit when you want wine and dine on a high level in Manchester.

Still my favourite place in Manchester. From the hospitality and welcome to the absolutely incredible food! Complex but approachable cooking with sauces to die for. Each dish is immaculate and full of flavour with superb presentation. The guys here are just going from strength to strength, every visit they somehow keep getting better. Inventive drinks offering with local suppliers and natural wines. Front of house is relaxed and attentive but the stars of the show are Julian and Max the chef/owners whose welcome and conversation is the best you will get anywhere in the city. Wether it’s on the chefs table or being served one of their dishes they truly make every meal a special occasion. Absolutely loving what these guys are doing and with the challenges of the venue size they are smashing it out the park. Go and visit Exhibition too in Manchester where they have a kitchen serving incredible flatbread based dishes called Jaan.

We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, especially since it has a high rating of 4.8 on Google. The starters were a pleasant surprise—very good and creative. However, the main courses were a bit of a letdown. The cabbage tasted good, but the core was bitter. Unfortunately, the steak was dry and overcooked, even after we sent it back (we had ordered it medium rare). Overall, we wanted to give this place a higher rating because it seemed like a hidden gem, especially for the price. We’ll need to come back another time to see if it was just an off night.

I am no longer a turtle bay bottomless brunch virgin and already I am planning to go back. I’m not a massive fan of cocktails but my friend is so I took one for the team and tried as many cocktails as possible along with my pint. Our server Delfin was fabulous super attentive, and explained everything to me as it was my first time. The food was delicious! I had a chicken roti wrap with sweet potato fries and I could eat it all over again now, really tasty and hot.

Fantastic place to enjoy delicious food and wonderful, tasty cocktails. Out server Aimee kept us well hydrated with cocktails during our bottomless brunch! Looking forward to returning 😀

Good menu and really good food. Tried this place on a Friday evening for some Caribbean cuisine and it was worth it. This place was packed and buzzing!!! Ensure you have a reservation, especially on weekends. Lovely Bar with all sorts of options. ps: they also have a game room. You might need to wait a bit longer than usual for your food.

Had such a a great time at Turtle Bay for birthday drinks on Friday! The vibe was spot on, cocktails were banging, and the food was perfect for light bites, would definitely recommend the mac n cheese!! Big shoutout to James—proper sound guy, super friendly, and made sure our drinks landed fast. Definitely coming back for more good vibes, great food, and top-tier cocktails.

Friendly staff, helpful and serving close to closing time! Cool industrial style interior which fits great for a burger joint. The food though. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. The burgers though, mouthwatering awesomeness. Would highly recommend this place to others!

Was here on 25.01.25 for breakfast. The food was delicious and authentic, reasonably priced, and the ambience was impeccable. The service was great! Bonus on top was the convenient parking right behind the restaurant. Will definitely go back again. Highly recommend!

It’s so pretty, we can see the chefs making food, the food is so much! It’s such a steal!!! The nann easily won my favourite but the drink with foam was so admiring ?! The waiters treated me with so much respect AND THEY WERE SUPERRRRR SMILEY! The floral design was everything. If u want to make a sauce duo, choose steak sauce and mint, IT WAS THE BEST! The seats were beautiful like seriously! The paintings were so pretty aswell!!! 5 stars, definitely coming back again!

What an amazing place which serves fantastic authentic style food & fresh off the grill. Superb customer service especially from manager Arif. Everything was on point & couldn’t complain about even the minor things. Arif definitely made our experience one to remember. I will definitely be coming back here again and would recommend this place to anybody.

Went for a birthday meal, and everything about it was amazing. The food the service and the staff. We ordered mixed grill, lamb biryani and fish. Everything was cooked perfectly, the chicken tikka was delicious and lamb chops were really good. The manager looked after us throughout. The service was very quick.

A fabulous restaurant with excellent food and service. Tegan, our server, was super friendly and helpful and gave us a few top tips on what she’d recommend from the menu. Every dish was unusual and tasty and we really enjoyed my 50th birthday treat visit to 10 Tib Lane. The dishes are unusual and the team are happy to explain the menu and also introduce each dish as it’s served, which helps you pick a dish you’ll enjoy. Well worth a visit and we loved are lunch.

Found about this place through instagram and after carefully reading all the great reviews had to come see what it was about. We got received by the lovely staff who were all very attentive and keen to explain the menu as it was our first time, were told we had just made it for the happy hour where they do their cocktails for £7 and oysters for £1. Safe to say we had a great time, we tried all of their cocktails as we were a table of 3 and had a bottle of wine which was delicious. We will definitely be back to try the food menu that also sounded incredible!

One of my new favourites in Manchester! The food was exceptional—some of the most tender, flavourful meat I’ve had. I had the pork collar and sirloin steak, both generously portioned, so you’d only need one extra dish between two. The menu is unique, and everything was beautifully cooked. The staff were lovely—friendly, chatty, and even gave me a complimentary glass for my birthday, which was a great touch. My only suggestion would be to swap the candles for small table lamps, as it’s a bit too dim to fully appreciate the menu and food. Highly recommend—can’t wait to return!

Today, we visited this amazing place upon the invitation of our friends, and our experience far exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere of the venue is very cozy and welcoming, which made us feel good as soon as we stepped inside. We had the chance to try some of the unique cocktails from the menu, and each one was incredibly creative and delicious. It was clear that the drinks were made with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and the taste truly reflected that. The food was just as impressive as the cocktails. The presentation of the dishes was extremely elegant and thoughtful, almost like a work of art. The quality of the ingredients used in the dishes also stood out; we could feel the freshness and premium quality with every bite. I also want to highlight the staff, who were incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. Came across this gem of a place when searching for halal food nearby. Loved it!authentic pakistani food and top notch customer service. They were amazing with kids too and our kids normally very fussy when they eat their desi food but they loved the parathas. The owner even gave us complimentary rice which was a very sweet gesture. I could not take pictures of all the food as it was all demolished before I could even take pictures of it. But highly recommend to try their samosa chaat.

The food was perfect, offering the authentic taste of Persian cuisine and it was really delicious as well. We ordered chicken kebab and ghormeh sabzi, both were cooked perfectly and tasted much like homemade. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were excellent, especially Sam, who served us and was very hospitable and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to try authentic Persian food; it’s the right choice.

Great Persian cuisine with characterful atmosphere, delicious food and great staff! Staff were lovely and accommodating for us despite being "fully booked" when we turned up without a booking Portion sizes are amazing and can easily feed 2 or 3 per main! Food is remarkable and the mixed tea with honey stirrers are to die for, absolutely delicious starters and filling mains. Great sizeable tables however service was a tad on the poor side, no menus brought to us and a couple of missed order items, but could just be a one off so nothing to frown over! Staff are extremely polite and hospitable Would visit again!

What a beautiful, serene, and zen place! I came here with my husband and children, and we all had such a lovely experience. The ambiance was calming and inviting, perfect for both families and couples. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into this restaurant—from the decor to the service and the food itself. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning. A truly wonderful experience!

Food was decent.. Had the combo meal for £11. Chicken Burger was fresh. So were the tender's. But the chicken loaded fires were special. I'd eat in next time

The food was really tasty packed well in a box allowing us to takeaway. The food was really flavorful with the spicy version having an extra kick. It's well worth the hype and a go to place if you are in the area and in the mood for loaded fries and a change from typical desi food.

Visited Mr fries for the second time over the weekend. The food was hot and freshly cooked, we tried the mac n cheese with honey garlic chicken which is a personal favourite of mine! Absolutely delicious. We also tried the chicken Parmesan loaded fries, both flavours had just exceeded expectations. Will definitely be visiting here again the perfect spot for those who love loaded fries to dine in or have takeout!

I’ve been visiting this restaurant since it first opened, and it has never let me down. Every dish I’ve tried—and I’ve tried many—has been consistently excellent. I highly recommend dining here. Lovely staff who were working hard with the owner to deliver yummy breakfast of Halwa Puri and desi Parathas. Didn't get a chance to try their lunch/dinner menu that looked authentic, too. Have tried other places in Manchester many times, and I think that this was the best so far. I am used to having breakfast in the old streets of Lahore (androon Lahore), so try this place, I visited cheetamhill branch, don't know how's their other branch on stockport road

Have been coming to this restaurant for a while. Their Nihari and chicken cargah is the best. Tried their other stuff as well solid price with best taste. Must try place in Manchester affordable and value for money.

Visited twice in quick succession now and it’s quickly become my favourite spot in town. Expert service that feels effortless, but expert, amazing wine suggestions, and perfect food that leaves me planning my next visit before I finish the last bite. Love, love, love.

Fantastic restaurant showcasing fresh seasonal ingredients. They serve a selection of small plates and some larger ones with a regularly rotating menu. The staff were lovely and very helpful and everything I had was super delicious. I particularly enjoyed the tomato dishes and the beef tartare. I managed to snag a seat at the counter too so could watch the chefs prepare everything in their open kitchen. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

I went to higher ground for a lunch with family. The food was out of this world and was modern British cuisine. Waiters and hostess working there were very cooperative and friendly. They attended us immediately as we went right on time we were booked. We tried the tasting menu which was was very surprising - Hostess told us that they won't tell us about the menu as that's there way of making you feel good about the food and have no anticipation whatsoever (no partiality either). This was surreal as I felt and gave my first reaction which was honest to the core as the different courses of food kept on coming. I totally recommend this place if you have a special day to celebrate or if you are looking for a peaceful lunch and evening with a loved one in cool and breezy sunshine of Manchester. :)

Loved this restaurant in Manchester city centre. Creative ever changing menu with an emphasis on sharing. The atmosphere was laid back, the staff were all really friendly and helpful with recommendations and there was also an excellent wine list.
